Looking for suggestions on how to improve fit in Comexim 3HC bras.

I have a few Comexim 3 HC bras in 80J with 2 cm increased depth at the wire and reduced cup height. I’ve noticed lately that I’m getting quadding, especially near the gore. My breasts are also looking pushed together and in a couple of bras the gore no longer tacks. I had quadding with the Mimi when it first arrived and now the Basic bra also quads and squishes my breasts together.

I want to order another 3HC bra from Comexim and plan on moving the straps in but am not sure if I should go up a cup size. I’m also having some quadding with the 80 J Gloria plunge, which had the same alterations as the 3HC bras. I’m FOB, short rooted and pretty centre full.

With the Mimi I definitely need to go up a cup size but I’m not sure how much moving the straps in will reduce quadding in other styles. I’ve attached a picture of the Beauty bra from when I first got it. I haven’t had a chance to upload new photos, but the quadding goes from gore to about halfway across the top. The underwire just fits around my breast tissue with no extra space. I have more tissue above the cup than in this picture. This is the lowest cut of the 3HCs I ordered and it may be too open at the top for me. Any suggestions on improving fit.

  • I'm pretty new but have been lurking here and reddit for awhile. I am center full too and read about an alteration to reduce the gore width, which seems to be improving the fit of my bras quite a bit. Maybe that would help? It helps me when the bra seems too small/quadding near the gore but fits or is gapping some more towards the straps.

  • confused, thanks! I hadn’t considered that for this bra. I have tried a gore alteration on an older Panache bra where the gore was way too wide for me. It did help the cups fit better, but the top was very open with more gaping than when I did the alteration. I was happy with how it improved the bra fit otherwise.

It is something I should try with this bra, since the cups are pretty short and I had never considered trying it her. I need a pretty narrow gore and could not understand why some of my bras were so uncomfortable even though sizing wise, they were on the larger size. It was when I realized the wire was sitting on my inner breast that it all came together for me.
