My Bra-venture

Okay so I need help! I was wearing US 34DD/E from the time I was 16-22 . They did NOT fit, my boobs fell out the bottom, I had to have the straps tightened as much as possible, and the band on the last hook. At this time, the most recent bra fitting i had fit me as a 32F, since 34E was the sister size I thought "good enough". until my boyfriend introduced me to reddit and i found the ABraThatFits sub about 6 months ago. I sized myself using the calculator as a UK 32GG/H. The first bra i tried was the Cleo Kali Balconnet Bra (7561) in 32H. It did not fit, The band was too tight, the straps were too far apart, and the underwire sat in the middle of my arm pit (which i've learned now is because thats where my breast tissue ends and every bra has to sit there and i still haven't gotten used to the feeling). I posted this on reddit and learned my boobs are VERY projected, and wide set. Next, i tried the 34G - Freya » Mode Padded Half Cup Bra (5033) which is actually probably my best fitting bra so far. The gore touches, straps are ok (i have to pull them in diagonally for it to be comfortable), the band feels good, projection is fine, i just don't like the thick lace that shows under pretty much every shirt i wear. The bra I now where the most is the 34G - Curvy Kate » Ellace Balcony Bra (CK4401) . the gore touches, straps and band seem ok, but i get the worst pain on my ribs (between my armpit and my boob) where majority of the underwire sits. I bought a few more bras in 34G, 32GG (too tight, but this may be due the bra being shallow), 36FF (it feels comfortable but the gore doesn't touch and the band is loose), and 32HH (which was my recommended size from the calculator here) - check out my bras to see the fit on these. AND I STILL HAVENT FOUND ABTF .... or even a size that fits. Please help! Any recommendations are welcome - I usually order from amazon and since i'm from Canada the polish brands (ex. ewa milchak) aren't on there so if you could also recommend a site to order from (that has *free* returns) that would also be helpful!

  • Welcome!

It would be very helpful if you could upload photos of you wearing these bras that you mention (like for the one you requested fit advice).
That way we can use your photos along with your comments to guide you.
Its good to see how the bra looks from the front, side (move your arm so we can see where the underwire sits in relation to your breast tissue) as well as angle shots - anything that may enable us to guide you.

As for websites that sell Polish bras, ship to Canada and offer *free* return shipping: NONE.
However, UK-based othereden.com sells Gaia, Ava and Gorsenia. They ship here for free (if your order is over a certain value) and they have a return center in Ontario so it's fast and convenient. I used this site when first trying to find my size. I asked for fit advice and bra suggestions and then I ordered 3 bras, each in 3 sizes, found what fit and returned the rest. Now I know my size in these companies (and most Polish companies) so I can order online with confidence.

Signing up for Pay Pal free returns program allows you to do free returns when you pay with them.

  • Also, Forever Yours in Langley, BC carries Ewa Michalak. So does Broad Lingerie in Toronto. There’s a place in Dartmouth, NS (?) that has Comexim.
