Extenders dont really help, do they
Wearing my 75KK - Ewa Michalak » Fb Zenith (1413) with an extender. So its not too tight. but . . . the straps keep falling off. sigh. I guess it was just made wrong, wasnt it.

The extender will affect the straps. I usually have to tighten the straps some when I use extenders.
Maybe something like this would help with the straps?
