I've noticed reading some of the bra adventures here, that some of you do alterations on your bras. I sew a little bit and have access to a sewing machine. I'm considering maybe trying to do some bra alterations myself. I'm sure altering could get a little tricky, having never tried . But I like a good challenge once in a while.
Anyway, the reason I'm posting this bra adventure is that I've found a web site that some of you might find interesting or helpful. It's called @ Bra -makers Supply http://www.bramakerssupply.com . They sell instructional books and dvds , materials and tools ect. I probably won't be making my own bras but I would like to learn about it. Kind of interesting.

Their website is very informative and they have a great selection of stuff :) But I think the shipping is ridiculous!
Was going to purchase 2 sets of underwires, but after the shipping it was $16 :( so I passed.
This is the site of Betsey Johnson, the lady behind The Bra Maker's Manual and the Pin-Up Girl lingerie patterns. They're based in Canada -- Canada Post must be amongst the most expensive postal services in the world :(
