I'm starting to think I will never find a bra that fits. :( They all feel too small in the wire but too deep in the cups since mine are too soft and have no volume....bras just go all wrinkly and gap at the top.. but yet the wires are always too small and poke into the migrated tissue. It gets frustrating sometimes. After losing 200lbs, I'm all skin and I can't even find a bra that fits. :( Frustrated today.
The best thing I could find was Curvy Kate's Thrill me and the 28J band was fine but a cup too small...so I wanted the 30J since I am between bands anyway, and they only go up to the J, but I can't find it any where anymore anyways. Grr.

  • The Showgirl serious runs about two or three cups smaller than their unpadded cups.

Congrats on the weight loss, but -hugs- on unable to find the propwer size. What you need is bras more shaped for bottom heavy breasts. Are you saying that while the cups are too deep, the wires are too small? Have you tried the Panache Andorra? I heard that has wide wires.

  • This is funny. I just was looking up the CK "desire" bra and saw your review, deciding against that bra since your issues with it sounded similar to what I would dislike about it. So I came back to bratabase and saw your e-mail and realized you were the same person. :P It was gravatar or something. That was you, right? You were wearing a white bra in you sig pic. What is that? I was wondering. It looked nice.

I haven't tried the andorra but have looked at it before. I'm scared to order new bras because it costs so much to keep buying bras and not sending them back (the shipping costs as much as the bras half the time..it's not worth sending back.) I just keep ordering the curvy kates. I also tried some other brands like elomi but the bands don't go small enough anymore. I tried a panache back when my band was a 36 and that was a bust.. bra was super itchy and uncomfortable so I haven't gone back since. I don't have a store where I can try on bras here so I have to go straight off my measurements which are 1) hard to take accurately because I have so much extra skin. 2) My boobs are really empty and saggy and wide so nothing seems to work. The wrong bra will even make them look wrinkly. :( I'm 23.... this is a nightmare. I have spent well over a thousand bucks in the last year alone trying to find a bra and none have fit properly... Either because it's wrong for my shape or the size is way off. And/or the size changes again .. Luckily, my size won't change too much anymore.
