I donned a bra and then angels sung

The Comexim Basic bra I bought from farflung arrived yesterday. Of course I tried it on immediately and my first reaction was "WOWWW" because lol that is some serious projection. Before I could do too many cartwheels of joy and whatnot, I decided to wear it all day today. And I love it! No stabbing gores, no armpit gouging, and the straps seem closer together than most other bras I've tried? However, I have full-on PMS boobs right now, so I predict things are going to be a tiny bit gappy with my "regular" boobs. I'd like to try a Comexim in 65HH instead of J and see how things go.

I definitely want to get another Comexim! And another!

  • Love the use of the meme haha. I haven't tried Comexim but curlewgirl really tempted me to do it. I might some day :) I mean... If their basic bra is prettier than most other brands' fashion color bras.... Jeez! Not only that, narrow wires + closer-set straps... A definite plus for someone as petite like me! :) I'm only 5 feet tall so most straps butcher my armpits and some wires end ridiculously far back on my body. The only thing holding me back really is the uncertainty of what size I should order. I'm especially curious about the band sizing in the basic bra. I'm one who prefers bands to be as tight as needed, not as tight as possible. I've come to the conclusion that I really don't have to compromise in comfort (tight band) to get support, because really, my boobs aren't that heavy (I'm able to lounge at home braless without any major discomfort, it only starts to hurt after like 12 hours or so). I much prefer to wear a bra though, because I have to rely on my hands supporting my boobs while I walk down the stairs and etc. :P It's more convenient and comfortable to just wear a bra and not having to grope yourself in public, lol.

  • prettyNpetite I found the 65J band to be not tight at all. It seems like it's true to size. It's also fairly stretchy: I measured it and it's 23" that I managed to stretch to 32". Compared to my 28G Freya Deco Honey (1254), which is 26" long and stretches to 31", it is the stretchier of the two. However I do have to take into account that it was worn by someone else a couple of times at the most. I'm in between band sizes so I'm on the fence about ordering my next Comexim as a 60J or 65HH. I guess if the 60J turns out too tight, I can always use an extender until it stretches out.
