My third batch of bras ordered to try on from Bravissimo. Part two entry, a hopeful lead on a good bra!
ELOMI MATILDA
38 HH
(This is the size that was closest to fitting in the Panache Envy).
Clearly too large. Loads of extra space in the cup at the top, and to the sides. Wrinkling / able to pull ... up and push fingers under the cup. Sides sagging out towards underarms.
Still getting the crease at the top of the breast.
Gore tacking perfectly.
38J
Even larger, so obviously wrong.
38H
The best fit of the 3. Gore tacking very nicely. But it may still be too large. A little space at the top of the cup, and very slight sagging out at the corners towards underarms.
Band feels comfortably tight. Can squeeze fingers under it comfortably, quite a tug to tighten in the first place.
Underwires digging in a little under armpits. Wonder if I could bend these a little if I kept this bra?
Although the gore tacks, it does drift forward as I lean forward to write.
Crease at top of the breast. But not too exteme. Only the little piece of flesh inside the crease doesn't touch the fabric. The straps touch the skin all the way down.
OVERALL
Trying on these Elomis I feel like the overall shape suits me more than any I've had before. The gores tack, and the shape of the cup feels round and stable - I'm not getting that feeling of my breasts being on a shelf coming perpendicularly out of my chest. I was surprised that the shape of the cup spreads out a bit sideways, meaning the breasts have an impact on my silhoette from the front. A little more than my naked breasts do. The lower gore also just makes more sense with my body, although I wouldn't call this low cut, the tops of the cup would still be quite visible at the top of quite highly cut tops.
I saw both the blue denim colour and animal print and liked both, probably prefer the blue. The beading embroidery round the top is very appealing and I think will look nice poking out of clothes. I would like to also try the black.
CONCLUSION
I had to decide whether to keep the Elomi Matilda size 38H, or whether to send the whole of this set back and order a new batch of different sizes in the Elomi. It's very possible this will be my best size, and the only way to improve on this fit would be a different model in a different shape. I think even this bra doesn't have enough projection for me, so I need to continue researching and see if such a bra exists.
Luckily from Bravissimo if I send this batch back, I will be refunded post and packing, so it doesn't cost any additional money, just the extra hassle of travelling to the post office to return. In a new order I can try four or five additional sizes, so I can try perhaps a smaller back with larger cup and see what difference that makes.

For me, Kris Line and Gorsenia sizes are not the same at all. I just use the Kris Line size chart (UK size to Kris Line size https://krisline.com/pl/rozmiarowka.html the 2nd chart if you scroll down) So, my Kris Line size is 70HH.
For Gorsenia, I wear 70I (I'm guessing for you 65I would be a good place to start) HOWEVER, it also depends on the STYLE.
I only wear one style in Gorsenia (even though I have several of their bras - it's all the same cut, just different fabrics) If you wear their soft balconette bras, I think go down 2 -3 cups EU. They run large, esp. the cups in the larger sizes.
yea that is what I have heard and seen in the past, that they run big.
and I did try one of them when I was a 34JJ and it was so so big. can't remember what size I got, 75M I think?
after some consideration. and impulse calm down , I believe there's no point in me trying anything other than half cups but I couldn't find any of those for sale in my size from Gorsenia so whatever :D
