Narrow shoulder line on Ewa’s website? Has anyone tried it? I have a lot of center fullness so the PL won’t work for me, which is why I was considering the FB. Has anyone tried the FB narrow shoulder line? It starts at 75K which is just *one* sister size too big for me. I currently wear an 80J in the S antonina so I’m wondering how that would translate. Any suggestions?

For those who wear different sizes in PL and unlined bras, which works for you in PLM?
Also is there any fit difference in the lace and solid colour PLMs? I'm wondering if it's stretch lace like the BM or something firmer.

@WildWolff That's really helpful, thank you!
Since my breast reduction and the pandemic (and thus working from home) I've been wearing bralettes instead of bras. However, I'm going back to the office (ugh). I've seen that Ewa Michalak has recently launched a new bra shape: the PLP.
I'm trying to see what the the differences are between the new PLP and the old PL. Apparently, thw website describes it as a low-plunge bra? Does anyone know anything about this new shape?

It just came out yesterday so the information available is limited to the descriptions/photos of the bras and the comments on social media. It appears to be a shorter cup PL. The band looks like the newer PLM bands composed of a couple layers of mesh rather than the firm PL bands. My most worn bra style is Ewa PL so I am interested to see how the PLP compares!
This is a really cute pattern. The band is slightly loose compared to my other Comexim bras, but overall the fit is pretty good.

I've been sitting and thinking about this and I'm wondering if there's any sort of write up simplifying it. Let me try to explain what I'm wanting to understand better;
Basically, the concept I'm thinking about is the scaling of small band/large cup bras, particularly with the effect the combo has on fit, and why it seems so hard to ... find a good band fit while seemingly between 28/30 band sizes.
Naturally, a band of a certain size should fall within a certain range of measurements stretched and unstretched, with the intent being to stretch some amount so as to provide support.
However, as far as I can tell, most of the stretch seems to come from the part of the band from the outside of the wires to the clasps. Basically, the back of the bra. Is this actually the case though?
My train of thought here is that, with each cup size the cups tend to get wider. This seems obvious in my size range in UK bras which seem to run unreasonably wide. But even for brands that seem to scale the cup width sensibly, realizing that breasts do not tend to wrap around to the back for most people, you can expect the wires to get wider.
Naturally, if the wires get wider, then if my first observation is right, then the part that does most of the stretching would like shrink accordingly, or at least do so slightly once every so many cup sizes.
Maybe this isn't so much of a problem on a larger band, but on a small band there's not much band length for the cups to "cannibalize" - so is my thought process right to think that it would be expected for the same bra in the same band size to measure fairly different at vastly different cup sizes? I haven't studied the measurements to get a feel for this, and even if I wanted to there's often not much info to go off of in the 28K range that I'm most interested in.
Does what I'm trying to explain make sense? Basically, that a bra that measures the same band length unstretched in both, for example, an E cup and a K cup, could effectively be tighter at the K cup due to the area doing the most stretching making up less of the unstretched length.
Not that I think the entire front of the bra doesn't stretch just that it seems like it does so less. Maybe I'm entirely wrong, or maybe it varies wildly on fabric and style(probably)
I better go to bed, I'm confusing myself now lol

I'm sure it's not good for a bra to use more than one extender, but what exactly will it do to the bra and how bad is it?
Asking because, with some 30/65 bands feeling somewhat loose and slipping around, I've been watching for bras with 28/60 bands, knowing that I would probably need an extender. I came across an EM ... S Magnolia in 28K. And I probably should have known better, but I think it may be discontinued and the style is so cute I convinced myself that maybe I can make it work. Without an extender there's no way. The only extender I found around the house adds about 3cm and is not stretchy. With the extender I can clasp it upside down and backwards and it seems find, but when I try to do it normally my boobs get too much in the way and it's hard to do it behind my back. I really just need maybe one more row, would adding a second extender be so bad or should I admit defeat? I've also seen some extenders online that seem longer and have a length of elastic between the section of eyes and the part with the hooks, would that be a better option? I'm fairly certain the wires aren't distorting but it would be easier to tell if I could get it on fully lol.

I've never heard of extenders being bad for bras?? Try it with 2!
I believe it's more so if you need 2+ extenders when buying a bra it's probably just not a good fit, but in your case where you already have the bra, why not?

Would fit a 32C / 32D / 30D/DD well if you're not so close set and centre full like I am. I am a 30DD/E and the band is decently supportive and the cups aren't overly small like some bralettes in a general size S, but the cut of this is pretty open in the centre so I'm spilling out a little more than is comfortable.

I emailed Ewa when the PLM first came out and she said she wears the same size in PLM as her unlined bras. My first order was for the same size I would wear for SF/BM/SM and it fit, but is a little shallow at the wire for me. I order one cup up now for a little more immediate projection. The band is stretchier than the PLs. There's a slight difference between the lace and the solid colors in my experience, but it also varies by each bra. The PLM Antonina has more depth/stretch than the solid colors I've tried, which I've found to be true for all the unlined Antonina bras I own (BM, PLM, 3DM). I have a picture comparing the Antonina BM, 3DM, and PLM in my bras in the Antonina 3DM photos. The Le Noir has a little more stiffness and structure like the SF bras.
