In stores, I thought and was told I had size 70D, 70E or 70F, but none ever felt comfortable. After a couple of years of not wearing regular bras (because none would fit me right) and instead wearing all kinds of improvised 'bra constructions', like stretchy tops combined with a shelf bra or 1/4 cup bra, I decided I would ... have a bra made. It would cost me some, but it was probably worth it. In my search for a place that could do so, I came to a 'professional' lingerie store, where the people told me that my problem would be fixed by wearing silicone fillings for extra support. I hadn't worn a well-fitting bra in a long time, so of course, this would not end well. It resulted in me buying 2 70E bras (that indeed seemed to feel comfortable in the changing room) that each cost 100 euros. Then, when wearing the bras during regular, daily activities, the bra bands turned out to be so loose that I literally had to hold my bra in place when riding a bike or even walking down the street (it went gliding across my back in all directions). I decided to have it altered. After this, the band was snug. And the cups way too small! Of course, there was no return policy for purchases that resulted from being wrongly advised. The only thing the woman in the store could say was: 'Well, we can have the band loosened again so that the cups will fit again!' When I brought up the bike riding situation, she started talking about sports bras.
One good thing came of this: a friend whom I showed the bra fitting problems, told me about the bra matrix, and the way to break out of it. So since then, I am on my journey to a well fitting bra. What a relief! (Turns out I have a normal body after all!)
So far, I have tried the Ewa Michalak bras. An order of Comexim is currently on its way!

I think it may depend on how deep the cup is toward the side. If the cup is narrow there, the breasts will be pushed inward.
That's just a guess. I haven't looked at the bra construction.
Elphabra "I've been wondering for a while if wide wires are antithetical to projection" I would answer: Yes.
This is - again as far as I see it - why Ewa Michalak goes together with side boob. The part of boobs that can be at the front will be projected. The other parts of boobs will be... ohwell just look at the Ewa models and you'll see what I mean.
I guess something like this: you can get projection with wide wires. It will be what is called east west. And for some reason a lot of people has decided that's a wrong kind of projection.
You can see it for example on petalmoon in a 34K Jasmine. http://www.bratabase.com/browse/panache/jasmine-6951/34K/?system=UK Her boobs are very projected. And east and west. Both she and me looks like that naturally :) It used to be truly fashionable and for some reason today are not liked!
When you lean over 90 degrees does your nips face somewhat outwards or totally towards the floor? :) There's the clue as far as I see it :)
