Elomi is on zulily, they're known for having larger band and cupsizes. They run 32-48 DD-K, not all cupsizes are in all bands. The bras are all heavily discounted and most are $25-$40. I've attached the direct link to the sale, and here's my link to become a member of zulily(it's free) http://www.zulily.com/invite/lcohen217

I stumbled across this new website. It has great prices and carries freya, tutti rouge, cleo, curvy kate, elomi fraulein annie, masquerade, panache, fantasie, mimi holiday, and others. The shipping to non european countries is awful, but if you're in the UK you should certainly check it out!!

I meant to say this a while ago, but I'm so happy that you posted this. I've been having a hell of a time looking for Fraulein Annie.
Should I size up in the Liliana? I wear my normal cup size in bras rumored to run quite small, my curvy kate tease me is in my normal cup size and I have no problems with it..

You mean Tutti Rouge Liliana Bra (TU100)?
All the reviews there seem to point that it has shallow/wide cups.
So if I can keep my same size in other shallow bras, then I will most likely be ok keeping my same size?
Earlier this year, I entered Bras and Body Image's giveaway for a thirty pound gift credit at Esty Lingerie and I won. I just recently finally got around to using it. I chose to put it towards a bra, and I went with the Louise Ferdinand Marlene bra in 30KK because I figured it had the best chance of working ... for me out of any bra on the site. I looked up a review for the brand and learned that they tend to run large in the cup and band. I can absolutely confirm that. What is labelled as a 30KK could, I'd image work for such a cup/band combination as maybe even 44H. The band is very, very stretchy. I'm very disappointed that it doesn't work for me, especially after paying eighty dollars for it.

They really do have cute designs but they just don't make them in what we girls need.
Best as in cute, yes. But I seriously doubt the support will be the best evarrr.

Hello ladies! I must admit to having some confusion about band size. I thought conventional wisdom said that if you measured an odd size you went up one, and if you measured an even size, that was your band size. For example if you measured a 41 or a 42, your band size would be 42. After reading some of ... your adventures and comments, I see that many of you are saying that your band size should be one or even two sizes smaller, and the cup size larger. At this point I don't want to consider cup size, since as a man, I don't fill the cups anyway. My bras are almost all 42 bands with cups ranging from b to e, and I seem to fill the bottoms of all, but not the tops, so they wrinkle to some degree or another. If I go down a band size on my favorite bra, the Elomi Caitlyn, I will buy the smallest cup size, which will be a 40e. Currently I have a 42dd and a 42e in that bra, and the fit is normal for me, I fill the bottom but not the top on both bras. I understand how closely band and cups are related, but otherwise, I am fairly ignorant. The 42 band fits me comfortably. It seems tight for a few minutes and then very comfortable. I have tried the two finger test with no problem, but it seems like a very inexact standard. I mean if your fingers fit under but the circulation to them is cut off is it the correct size? ; ) I am hoping the Wonderful Women of this site will give me a better insight into this problem. Any and all comments welcome. I have a coupon for a free bra coming from an online retailer, and I'd hopefully like to make a decision before the coupon arrives in the mail. A smaller Caitlyn, or try another bra? Any suggestions for a bra similar to Caitlyn? Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It's really personal preference.Cause of how much squish I have on my back and all,I have to size down to get enough support....otherwise I end up with a backache and all sorts of problems. Also some bands run super stretchy while others don't...so I could end up wearing anything from a 34-40 band!
But others find wearing a band with plus 2-4 is alright with them..it just depends on one's body.
For me I measure 33 ribcage so I normally wear a 34, I have tried 32's and some of them are o.k. but most are too tight for me and the wires are too narrow. Like Sparkles said it is all really personal preference. However if you band is riding up in the back you should at least try going smaller.

Has anyone tried Bravissimo's Satine basque? I've written to them asking for sizing advice and haven't heard back yet (only wrote yesterday) but thought some input from the real world could help. Does it run small/large in the back/cup, what shape is it, anyone similar to a 34JJ tried it at all?
Failing that, any other good recommendations for a plunge bra in the J+ size range? I've ordered Ewa Michalak in SM Trefl and PL Charlie but have no idea what the fit will be like.
I have an evening gown situation....

I haven't tried the Satine basque, but I did try the Lola basque. Bravissimo's half cup bras' wires are nice and wide and perfect for me. Their customer service people are clueless about wire width, though. When I emailed them to ask about the basque's wire width, I got a non-answer answer. The basque arrived, and the wires were incredibly narrow. Fully a third of each boob was popping outside the cup. Stupendous waste of money shipping back and forth to the U.S.
The other thing I've repeatedly read about Bravissimo's bras is their half cup wires are wide, and their non half cup wires are narrow. The Satine basque is based on the Satine plunge, I believe, which would make their wires narrow.
I'm a petite size 2 generally in U.S. sizes. The Lola basque's body was comfy. It didn't have shapewear properties, but it wasn't loose, either. I have slim hips, though, so if your waist/hip difference is strikingly hourlgassy, keep in mind your torso length matters tremendously. In that case, you could try emailing customer service and ask them to measure the body length of the basque.
Thanks so much learningaboutbras, that's really interesting about the wire width. I have the Bravissimo Alana (AU01) which is slightly wide on me, and I think that's considered a 'halfcup' (?? not sure what criteria judges it that, just heard it somewhere) so maybe Satine will be good for me. Although, I wear Alana in a K. So fingers crossed. They wrote back to me just now with some semi-helpful advice, so I'll post the results when my purchases arrive...

Hello boob- and bra experts!
I ordered the Sofia from Tutti Rouge and I got it this morning. I got the 32HH, one cup up from my usual 32H, but the cup is too big.
However, I'm unsure if I need a 32H or 34GG! I felt the bottom section was fitting alright in 32HH, but the middle/apex of the cup ... and the entire top was too large. I worry about the bottom section becoming too shallow when I size down. I have no idea about if there's a way to predict which size, 32H or 34GG will be the least bottom-shallow?
I'd like the size with the least shallow bottom!
I also have an issue with straps being too far apart often, so ideally the 34GG would have a better strap placement for me.
The 32 band felt snug, not overly tight, but maybe it would have felt tighter if the cups weren't too big. So I think a 34 might also work. I'm trying to ease in to looser bands for comfort. But I still need support! What do you recommends?
Exchanges are a bit of a hassle so I just want some advice and hopefully get it right.
Does anyone have recommendations for sizing of the other shapes? The Liliana didn't work for me, it's too shallow. But I want to try the Frankie /Pearl, just unsure about sizing since it's more closed on top. Maybe a 32HH or 34H? Hmm.
EDIT : I'm returning the Sofia and placing a new order, but I thought I'd ask if anyone wants to buy it and avoid Big Cartels expensive shipping. I just thought I'd offer

Which colour is your Sophia bra? Pink or Aqua? (I might be interested...)
Pink. The Aqua was sold out in that size.

Maybe add this on the review page? It will not be found here once the adventures move on.
Thanks I did. It has not been approved yet.
