I've been reading online so much about boob shape and bra construction that I feel a little bit like I'm drowning. I think I've decided that I have breasts that are approximately 30-32 G-F sized, full on bottom, close-set (not much space in between) with a wide root (breast tissue starts under my arm pit). I may have ... narrow shoulders, and they do slope slightly.
I want a bra that will nudge everything forward from under my arm pit (I think side slings seem to help here) while not cutting out some breast tissue (need wide underwire - but still a narrow center gore because of the no space between thing). I also want LIFT. Is there a bra that can hold my boobs up and foreword the way my hands do?
I often want to relocate straps so that they pull up from the center of the cup instead of the side. And I like the idea of racer back except that it often hurts my neck to have the straps pulling in the way that design does.
So now that I know my shape a bit better, I'm looking for a bra style that will work. Specific suggestions would also be fabulous!
Should I look for vertical or diagonal seams? Short (demi) cup, or more of full coverage? I've read suggestions but I've also read conflicting information and can't really keep it straight.
I cant really say what has worked in the past either because I have not yet found a pattern from what I have tried about why things work or don't work.
I like the idea of molded cups because I wear a lot of thin fitted tees and don't care for nipple or seam show-through, but I also like unlined bras because they're so lightweight and cool. I try to have an option of each depending on my clothing.
Bras are like shoes that way. You need the right combination of color, coverage, shape, etc depending on the occasion and other parts of the outfit. If only they were cheap enough and easy enough to find a good fit one might actually achieve that desire for the complete wardrobe!

Just means the wire length is a little too long for you. I don't know much about Cleo to recommend an alternative, but you can do a search here on the brand Cleo and check and see if you can find another Cleo bra with a lower wire length/height than the Lily. I'm sure you'll find something. The Marcie is known for a very rounded shape, and I don't recall the wires bothering me (and I have high set boobs so wires are always bothering me) so maybe look that up?
Please make sure to also include this review in your bra so that people in the future can benefit from it :)
The text here "fades" with time, and is not properly categorized like the reviews are.
