Bra fitting in the US is still a joke
I let out a loud, obnoxious cackle when I saw this.

And it fits! 75F France sizing hooooooooooly crap I'd never thought I'd buy an F-cup bra and it fits (I'm strictly 28G/30FF girl, any lower is too small, and bigger is too big). I guess it is true, Empreinte bra runs a full cup bigger and deep. This is the only brand that I would attest to that. Usually when ... in reviews said "this bra runs a cup bigger", I don't find that it's true, but that's not the case for Empreinte.
The one I ordered is Empreinte Mordore. I've gone ahead and ordered Thalia. Can't wait for it to arrive next! Thank you wendybien for linking the store that sells cheap Empreinte!

Oh I'm so pleased for you! Don't be like me and wait a billion years to upload the deets ;-) Was just thinking how I have yet to do that!
Those bras look gorgeous. Makes me wish very narrow and deep cups were my thing.

Do new bras make anyone else super excited to get up and get dressed in the morning, or is it just me?

It's not just you. I'm more excited about all my clothes now that I have decent bras. I am now even more into clothes than before. This may or may not be a good thing. :-p
I have a problem with wanting to match my clothes and bras and often can only afford one at a time.LOL.

Okay, so, beige bras never did the whole blending in thing with my skin, my pearl Andorra was pretty good, but not ideal, my blush Gia showed bits of skin which looked yellow(?) in comparison, BUT the nude Zara I got, which others have pinned as totally not a good nude is a good nude on me. Does anyone know of any other bras that are about the same colour?

So, oops.
Today I received 6 bras in the mail. Oops. 3 CK's I ordered from Zulily, a Kris Line I bought from Zulily, a Kris Line I bought from another bratabase user, and an EM.
2/3 CK's are too small in the cup (both 28H). I bought a 28HH and two 28Hs (currently running between 28 & 30, so I ... prefer loose 28s like CK or tight 30s like Ewa), and annoyingly the 28Hs are a bit too small in the cup. My Romance in 28H fits well still, so I thought I'd be okay, but I guess the Emily's a bit different. Oh well, I really only bought the white ones (the 28Hs) so I could try dying them. Can't wait to get my hands on some lingerie dye!
The zulily Kris Line (the Charlotte) is gorgeous and fits pretty well in 65HH. I'd heard they run about 2 cup sizes smaller than UK brands, so I kept that in mind when ordering and thus ordered the 30HH. 65 band is fine, but I do wear it on the 3rd set of hooks (the Charlotte actually has 4 sets, so I have a bit of room to tighten as necessary).
The bratabase Kris Line (the Cornelia Semi Soft) is far too big in the band at a 70H, but I definitely knew that would be the case. It's so stretchy though that I think it's closer to a 34 than 32. I'll definitely be altering it to fit me.
The EM SM Wrozka in a 65GG arrived today as well, and while I find that the cups are a bit small (I could probably use a 65H really, but that is now special order), it's a pretty good fit. Not a huge overspill at all. Band is pretty firm, which is good for me. I am sure it'll loosen up a bit with wear, but it's pretty great for now.
So all in all, I am fairly pleased with my bras, but I definitely have ordered too many. I have another 2 Ewa's on the way at some point, and plan to take part in another group order and get 2 more. Yipes.
Maybe I *do* have a problem....

Shhhh. It's okay. Don't worry about it. They're all pretty. Bras are great.
(really, though, join the club) :(

This past weekend, my brother's house got broken into. Don't worry! He's alright and no one was home when it happened. Actually, nothing was even in the home besides a few chairs when it happened. My brother had just gotten the keys that week and hadn't moved in yet! So I guess the joke's on you burglars ... alt=":D" />
One thing I cannot laugh about though, is the bra battle scar I ended up with as an indirect result of the break in I decided to come along and keep my brother company while he waited for the door repair guy to repair the front door which had been kicked in. After admiring the repair guy's cute handyman ass for a couple hours, I got sleepy and decided to take a nap on some dining room chairs.
I napped with my bra on. I never nap with my bra on. This caused me to wake up feeling bruised under my left boob. I thought nothing of it and came home to take pics and add bras to Bratabase (my favourite thing to do on a Saturday afternoon ). To my horror, I noticed a 3 inch horizontal bruise/cut line a couple inches below my IFM. WTFFF?!?! Did someone slash me and stitch me up in my sleep? Then it occurred to me that my bra obviously shifted down and pinched my skin while I slept since it's too big in the band to begin with.
I so deserved that for falling asleep daydreaming about cute butts instead of minding my own comfort >__< Lessons were learned and I'm happy to share this story here as I'm sure tales of bra battle scars are a commonality amongst the lovely ladies (and mens?) of Bratabase.

Holy ouch, Batman!
Another tip: Never fall asleep in your Deco Strapless (if you have one that is). I made that mistake once, and while it fits me, it did rub raw where the rubber/plastic met my skin. I was sore for a week. To note: I was definitely asleep on a floor, so maybe you wouldn't have the same issues on a couch. Either way, I don't recommend sleeping in a Deco Strapless. Yowch!
Serves you right for objectifying a man. :-D

Is there a way to list a new bra on bratabase as a babydoll? I feel like it's more or less a regular bra, but it's not exactly. I see some listed as regular, some as longline/corsets (which they are not), or just anything else. There's also no good way to measure the stretched band on most babydolls, which is ... something that should be taken into consideration unless I'm missing some magic secret. You can kind-of-sort-of do it by measuring half of the band at once (folded at the gore), but... it feels a lot more inaccurate.
Additionally, it would probably be good to standardize what "gore" means on them. I measured down to the end of the "band" section of the babydoll. The normal interface says down to the edge of the fabric, but measuring down to my thighs for that on a babydoll wouldn't make much sense! Same applies for wing height.
I have a Kris Line Fortuna Babydoll that I just added (http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dl9uv/), but I just wasn't totally sure what to do with it, entirely.

Anybody know what the panties are like with Comexim? A huge reason why I never buy a set is because I more or less expect that the accompanying panty is going to be super-unflattering and tight at the seams and yeah... You catch my drift. Also, do you know of any brand that are actually good at making panties, not ... only bras? (i.e Tutti Rouge, Freya and etc, which companies do generally make good panties as well?) I have soft hips, always have had soft hips, even when I was in my best shape ever with no rolls whatsoever whichever way I sat down, I had soft hips. Ain't gonna change, lol.

I just size up cos i hate cutting in. I have 38" hips, but i wear a L in panties. Which Comexim set are you thinking of? Some, like Nadine will cut in more than others like Geisha.
I guess I don't have any particular panties in mind, I have the Basic bra at home but I already have a pair of beige panties that have the same shade so I'm not interested in that... Maybe the Luna panties because I'm considering buying the Luna bra! Won't the back be really baggy if you size up? Thing is I want a nice fit on my bum too!

I got a 36G - Panache » Zara (5086) in the mail today (among other bras). At first, I wasn't too pleased with it, since it really doesn't fit at all. But then I thought, just for giggles, I throw on my lowest cut shirt and do some adjusting... WOW! Where has this thing been all my boob-owning life?!

Haha! I love seeing my own mega cleavage - i find it super hot! I swear, when human cloning comes in I am making another me and dressing it in an Ewa PL cut to have in a dungeon somewhere ;)

And then I saw yours! AWWW! I was curious if the blue one has breast tissue bellow the underwire?
Holy CRAP. Bring back the airbrush.
