This my 3rd 'Elegance Underwire Lace Bra (9845) from Glamorise. I think they've been my favorite bra for a few years now. And I am sad to say I think they have been discontinued! : ( That is why I ordered this off of ebay . I've checked around couldn't find any 40DD's except this grey/purple one.) (not my favorite color) So now I have 3 of them . My 1st one I bought around 2 years ago. It's white and is on it's last hooks and just about worn out. My 2nd one is nude and it's almost brand new. All 3 are in 40DD. ... The 9845 is a full coverage , cut and sew 3part cups that almost look lace but are really of a soft mesh material. They have the super padded 'Wonderwire' underwire which are so soft and comfy! The 4.5 inch side wing and 3 hook and back makes a sturdy band. This one is a grey-ish purple color(I guess they are calling it 'lilac') with pink bows on the gore and on the straps right above where they connect to the cups. Also the same pink color lace that runs across the upper cups. The straps measure just over 3/4" wide I love these bras! I got this one from a seller on ebay for $31 and free shipping and it only took 3 days to arrive! I'm really bummed that they are discontinued. I am gonna keep my eyes open for more of these bras in 40DD and I might even try a sister size of 42D OR 38DDD! Read more 174 more words
I bought this bra from a Bratabase bra transfer for a few reasons. First off , because it is a Prima Donna. Secondly, because it only cost $6! And last, because it might fit me if I use a bra extender. I am glad I did buy it because it does fit. With an extender it fits just fine! The only thing I don't like about it is the chocolate brown color it is. But I can live with that because it's a "Prima Donna for $6 !!" So anyway, This is a full coverage 3 part , cut and sew underwire bra. With almost 1" wide , non stretch straps. And 3 hooks in the back. The bottom part of the cups are brown and the upper is transparent with a flowery pattern on both. It is made of very soft material and is so comfy. A very well made , high quality bra. This modal has been discontinued. But from what I understand, there are other PM bras with similar features ect.
I've had my "Aurelia (5672) now for over a month. I've wore it all day a few times a week. I have to say I really like it being that it is so comfortable. I bought mine from Break Out Bras through Amazone in 90E for $66. I think I made a good purchase. It is a very sturdy, well-made bra that almost fits like a glove. I say almost because I have slight wrinkling in the upper cups but, not enough to hardly notice. The bra supports me and gives me a round shape and is so very comfy. It has 3/4 inch limited stretch straps and 3 hooks in the back. Seamless ,stretch-lace cups with good nipple coverage. I hear the "Aurelia (5672) is very close to being the "lace version" of the Rosa Faia "Twin"underwire (5490). I will probably one day check out a twin(5490) myself.
This bra works out really good for me. Although a 40 band would probably be a slight bit better , but not that much to where I would use a bra extender for this size 38. I love the upper lacy cups. Seems to be a well made bra also. I bought this bra on a bra transfer with another Bratabase user for 10$ and am quite pleased. It's really very comfortable and feminine.
This bra I bought from Hanes. It is a minimizer bra with a kind of tall center gore at 4.25". It has 2 part cut and sew, full coverage cups with the top section being made of stretchy lace. It is very comfortable and totally supportive. 3 hooks in the back and wide straps.
I bought this bra from a Bratabase user in a "Bra Transfer". I like it a lot and I can almost say it fits ok except for 2 things. #1, the band is a little tight. I find this surprising with it being a 40. I usually fit better in 38's. So a 40 being too tight isn't usual. But I'm sure the band will loosen up some after being around my body for a little while. #2, there is some loose fabric in the upper cups where my boobs don't quite fill them. But this bra is another sturdy, well built Chantelle bra so you know it's quality. Oh yeah., It only has 2 hooks in the back which I would like better with 3 hooks.
This a long-line, strapless bra. It has unlined lace ,underwired cups with 2 support 'bones' that run vetically, top to bottom through the cups. These cups are meant to fully encompass and give extra support to the breasts with it being a 'strapless bra'. It has a 2" elastic bottom band, side boning and 7 hook and eye fasteners in the back. Also a cut little bow at the top of the 11" center gore. This bra feels like a typical goddess bra. Not real soft but really supportive.
I had to try an Exquisite Form long line bra. Seen them in stores and catalogs for a couple decades it seems. I have only had a few front hooking bras in my life and most didn't fit very well .And I only tried this one because I couldn't find an Exquisite Form back hook long line that fit me very well. So I tried the front hook and it fit really nicely. It has 2 part seamed cups with the uppers being made of pretty lace. This lace also runs down the center of the bra under the cups down to the bottom band.It is fastened with 16 hook and eyes and has side bonning on each side. Also a wide 2" bottom band of elastic. Almost forgot, it is a soft cup bra.
Lunaires Versailles (13211) is one of my all time favorite bras that I've ever worn! I've gained a bit of weight therefore my boobs have gained also. So a Versailles I recently bought from HerRoom , size 40DD didn't fit me in the cups ( the gore didn't fully tack) so I returned it for exchange to a 40DDD which fits great. It totally encapsulates my breasts, the gore tacks ect ect , plus, I like the shape it gives me. And is the most comfortable I own. And, I just love the stretchy jacquard the cups are made of.
I bought this bra from a bra transfer. $20 was well worth it even though it doesn't fit perfectly in the cups. There is definitly wrinkling in the upper cups which I guess shows I'm a bit fob. Any how, this bra is very supportive and sturdy. Has 3 hooks in the back and 2 part cups.
