This is the second of two sizes Tutti Rouge sent me to review in Lilliana. The 30E I do not get any quadding, but the wires become much wider in this size. Full review is on my blog and has a review on both the 30D and 30E.
This bra doesn't fit like any other Deco I've tried. The cups are a quite different shape, they are taller and wider, I think they also run a bit large. The band is very firm it just barely stretches to 30.
I previously had this bra in a 32E that I ordered from Sophisticated Pair, it was an in stock item and was unaltered. It had always been a bit problematic (but I loved it), and it got to the point I didn't enjoy wearing it despite loving the bra. I couldn't do without this bra so I reordered it recently, this time direct from Comexim in a cup volume larger with alterations that made it the Sophisticate Balconette. I had to add it as a 30FF in order to put it in as an Anna Pardal, but it is actually tagged a 65H.
This fits me ...much better than the 32E (70F), I get no bubbling in this. The band is a bit small (but feels stretchy), and I do need an extender, but my experience with the larger band made me decide on sizing down, while the 32/70 was smallish and a decent fit at first it quickly became a bit loose. I hadn't really worn it much either and had usually used an extender to cut down on bubbling even though with an extender it was too big.
I did a full review and comparison of altered and unaltered Comexim plunges on my blog. Read more 102 more words
This bra is really pretty and the lace is thin enough that it shouldn't show through most shirts. The band on this is quite tight, even with an extender it's still a bit small and I need a bit of a second extender.
I love the color of this bra and design of this bra. It is a 4 part cup with 2 vertical seams and 1 horizontal, 4 part cup construction is rare in general but very rare in my size range. It fits decently although I don't fully fill the upper section. My only real issues are the straps. Full review on my blog.
I got this in a swap from another user. This fits just like my other PL cuts. I don't know why but I really love bras with the black/tan combination. I have a CHP Cappuccino that is too small and loved the aesthetic of it, but after trying CH and CHP in multiple sizes I think its just not the right cut for me even though Comexim 3HC works. With EM I think the PL is my best fit, and possibly S but I've only tried one and it was a cup too big.
I love the aesthetics of this bra, the band does run quite small, and I was aware since I bought it from another Bratabase user, but I was really curious about the M cut and love the Magique anyhow, nothing an extender or 2 can't fix, and at least I didn't have to wait a month to see if it would even work.
The bra fits me fairly well, both with and without the cookies. The cookies for this bra are a bit challenging to put in, they slide in through a small side pocket and you have to bend them a bit to squeeze them ...in. While it fits well both ways, with the pads gives some extreme cleavage (I will take some more photos with pads in once I dig them out of the bra drawer).
The wires are a bit wide, but not excessively they are within the realm of what works for me at about 5.3in, and they are also quite short (about a 1.5cm shorter than than the PL). The straps are still wideset like most EM's, but are narrower straps, which could be a pro or con depending on your preference, personally I think if they were wider they may be a bit irritating, but they do feel a bit flimsy (they are completely elastic), so you may need to adjust them a bit throughout the day, but they are easily adjustable. I measured the distances between straps on the M compared to PL's of the same size and they seem to be close if not the same depending on the PL.
I think the primary difference between the PL and the M is the cup height with the M being about 2cm shorter than the PL. The gore is also a hair lower, but almost literally a hair lower, and the PL's range a bit in the ones I have from 1.75 to 2in while the M is 1.6in.
If the PL works for you and you want lower coveage the M could also work. The cup depth seems to be mostly the same between the 3 PL's and the 1 M I have at about 8.25, with one PL measuring 8.5. You may want to size up in the band though, it is noted on EM's website that the band on the M runs small, since I only have one M I can't speak to how true that is across the line, but this one does fit more ike a 60 than a 65.
This bra fits very well and is the first balconette style I have owned. I don't know why I tried it on several times before buying it. I guess the lace had me concerned that it would show, but I really don't know why I worry about that so much since I mostly wear t-shirts and don’t wear a lot of white. I do get a very tiny gap near the gore on my right breast which is a bit smaller than the left, it's such a small gap it is only noticeable when I move my arms in certain position or am actively trying ...to see if I get any gapping. I just wish I had bought it sooner and that I could have worn it out of the store. I think this is the first bra I've had that the underwire doesn't get pushed down, it's great to have wire that stays at the IMF. This is probably my best fitting bra with my Parfait Charlotte in a close second (Charlottes band is a bit tight otherwise it's a great fit). I do think that the cups may run large on this bra and a bit on the small side (perfect for me since most 32's are a bit loose and 30's a bit tight), since I don't fit in many 32DD bras including other Betsey Johnson styles Read more 129 more words
I was looking forward to this bra for so long and I finally pick it up from the post office today after missing the delivery on Saturday. I rush home to try it on, I get it out of the box and it's beautiful. I got to try it on and it doesn't fit, the band runs a size small and due to a bit of growth the the cups are too small, 65G has always been a bit on the edge of fit for me, and I was worried about this since some of my other Comexims weren't fitting right anymore, but the Sonia is ...worse than any of those on me. I did get the straps moved in 2cm on this although due to the it not fitting well at all and having a ton of quad I can't judge if I like that or not, I also got it with 3 hooks instead of the usual 2. In addition to the bra not fitting I got matching panties and I ordered the wrong size having forgotten I need a medium in Comexim panties and not a small. I will most likely be listing both the bra and panties, If the band was more TTS I might hold on to it for bit and see if I go back down in size.
I did also order a Basic and it seems to be an okay fit I got a 65H with reduced cups, trying it out for a bit to see if it will work.
Update: I swapped a bra and got a Sonia half cup in 75G, the band runs small and fits like a small 70 which works pretty well since I'm between a 65/70. The 3 part half cup works really well for me as well. Since I hadn't sold the panties, once I knew I was getting another Sonia I decided to hang on to them. They are a bit on the small side, but aren't uncomfortable. I did place another Comexim order and added a pair of medium panties which I think will fit better. Read more 251 more words
The band on this runs almost a full band size small, it will stretch to 30 but by then the wires are being pulled. It will get to 28.5 without really moving the wires, so if you need a 28 band this may be a good match for you. When I first tried this bra on I had yet to measure it and just put it on. I didn't think it felt ridiculously tight, but the cups were getting distorted. I had so many bras that came in that day I was kind of rushing trying everything on. I thought about it later ...as I measured and realized it might work decently with an extender. I tried it on again with an extender as loose as it would go since I measure closer to 31 loose. It was a better fit with the extender for sure, but the cups seem like they may be too tall. I'm not sure if maybe it's a cup size too big or if this bra just isn't going to work for me. If I were to try it again I would definitely go up to a 32, but not sure what cup size to try. Overall it is a cute bra and I like the subtle print. Read more 116 more words
