I ordered this a couple weeks ago, and it arrived very quickly for a custom handmade bralette. It is beautiful and very well made. While the cup measurement I put in might seem wide, the cups to flex/ mold to your shape. When the cup isn't laying flat and positioned more like when your boob would be in it, it measures over and inch narrow, so it could probably fit a variety of shapes well. It's great that lcl0706 started making these, there is a lack of cup size bralettes and the XS-XL sizing doesn't work well for most especially not for the small band full bust group.
I love this bra! The teal blue with the black looks amazing. It is a deep plunge cut and can give a lot of cleavage. It fits great with or without cookies, I will upload some photos without cookies later. This is the best fit I've gotten from an EM bra so far. Also the plunge cut kind of reminds me of the VS bras I used to wear, but this is a much better fit with narrower wires and deeper cups than any VS bra.
Finally getting around to reviewing the Meow demi. I love the bra and it fits pretty much the same as all my Comexim 3HC's. Wellfitting wasn't offering customization, but I contacted Comexim directly and they said I could send them my order number along with alterations requests, so I did this. I only requested a lowered gore, but received it with not only that but an overlapping gore. The band does a run a bit closer to TTS than other Comexims stretching to 31.5, it does have 4 sets of hooks though.
I got this bra from A Sophisticated Pair after exchanging a couple other bras that didn't work for me, she didn't have any other sizes of the previous 2 bras I tried so I decided to try Lady Grey. I wasn't crazy about Lady Grey from photos I had seen online, but it arrived and it is beautiful.
The band on Lady Grey does run small, and I had read that it did, but Erica didn't have any Lady Greys in a 32F so I decided I might as well try the 30FF. The band does run tight, but fits fine with an extender. ...The cups are a perfect fit on me. I feel like this is probably as close to a custom fit bra I could get.
I got a matching thong, A Sophisticated Pait had a Lady Grey thong on in their final sale section in a small. She held it for me until I could see if the Lady Grey bra would fit. Since the bra fit great I had to get the thong, although I was quite worried that the thong would be too small. I usually order medium in Comexim panties, and since the band on Lady Grey runs small I thought for sure these would be on the small side. The small does actually fit quite well, they are a bit higher rise, but I can position to not be as high and the backside at least at the top is a bit more like a rio style than a a regular thong. I am quite happy with them though and they go great with the bra, although I almost think they would pair better with the halcup Lady Grey with the trim at the top of the cup.
Update: I love this bra because it fits great, but somehow the pattern shows through a lot of my shirts. I mostly wear fitted knit shirts and t-shirts. The other day I was wearing a red t-shirt and apparently it is super thin fabric, because when I caught a glimpse in the mirror while in a restroom I noticed you could see the pattern of the bra.
This bra looks so much prettier in person. I ordered it with help from Erica at Sophisticated pair. She was incredibly helpful with judging fit of other bras from photos and listening to my concerns. We decided to go with the 32E since the bands run small, and this definitely fits more like a 30 band, I even have to use a bit of an extender with it to get the most ideal fit (my ribcage is 30.5). Without an extender the band is a bit tight and the cups have some slight bubbling. An extra set of eyes from an extender solves both issues. When I first got it the cups seemed a bit shallow but after a few wears they seem to have moulded to my shape and no longer feel the least bit shallow, this makes me wonder if there have been some bras I've given up on too quickly.
I just received this bra from a swap, I had been looking at the Dottie every time I've ordered from Comexim, but never ordered it, I guess I thought the bold colors weren't practical or something. However when the I was offered it on a swap, I jumped on it. I am so glad I finally got this bra, not only is it super cute and girly, but it is a perfect fit. I haven't had it on long, but it instantly gave me the feeling of being made for my boobs, much like my AP Lady Grey Sophistcate. Like the Lady Grey the ...Dottie also utilizes a thinner strap at least in this size. I wasn't told of any alterations, but my guess would be this has had the straps moved in because the strap placement in quite similar to other Comexims and AP's that I have the straps moved in on. I wasn't sure about the thinner straps when I got my Lady Grey, but the combination of thinner straps and having them moved in is really nice especially if you've been wearing a bra with wider set straps and your armpits need a break. Whenever I place my next Comexim order I will definitely be getting matching panties for this bra, it is too cute not to have matching undies. I actually think this print would make a really cute swimsuit.
I will get around to measuring the Dottie tonight, I like it too much to take it off and do it right now.
Update: I absolutely love this bra, I am about to place a Comexim order soon and I emailed them because I was wanting to get some AP bras and needed pricing. I mentioned I wanted to get a Dottie thong and I just heard back that they are out of fabric. If anyone has Dottie panties in good condition they want to sell I would buy them. Medium would be ideal, but could work with Small or Large too. Read more 238 more words
This is my first Scantilly set, it fits similarly to Curvy Kate so you should be fine with your CK size in Scantilly. It fits decently but is a bit on the small side, but I'm not sure if it's a size issue or the fact the cups are rather low coverage. For the MSRP the materials aren't as high of quality as I would expect, but if you find it on sale it's not a bad set. Full review and more pics on my blog, I changed up the background for my pics too.
I had been eyeing the Coco for quite some time now, but I am quite picky about unlined bras and there isn't a whole lot of information on Comexim's unlined bras either. I finally decided to buy it when I saw it listed on here for a decent price, and I really didn't want to order this one direct and wait a month or two before being able to see if I would even like it.
The bra arrived today and I was a bit concerned if it would fit because I usually wear 65H in Comexim 3HC and the same in plunge but with reduced cups. ...It also happened to arrive the same day as my period so my boobs are a bit larger. Since I did get a 60H I counted on having to wear this with an extender, but it is on the larger side of TTS stretching to about 29in.
I grabbed an extender and went ahead and tried it on. To my surprise it actually fits quite well, just a bit of bubbling which I suspect will go away in a few days and if not, it's really not enough to justify a size up in this bra.
The bra seems to be quite projected especially at the wire more so than the padded 3HC's. It is a bit closed off towards the top were a horizontal seam meets the 2 vertical seams, but the very edge of the lace is a bit more forgiving, I think this might be part of where I get some bubbling. I am fairly high set and event/ slightly FOT, this would probably be problematic if you are very FOT.
I am actually quite pleased with the shape it gives and that is quite a feat for an unlined bra to acheive. I'm not a fan of Cleo's unlined offerings because while they give great cleavage and roundness they bring everything in too much for me. While the Coco does give a round shape it doesn't push everything so inward either. I also don't think it gives quite as much lift and cleavage as a Cleo, but still provides great shape and support. The clothed photo doesn't really show this, but it does seem to give a slightly minimized appearance, but this could be what is keeping everything from being pushed so far inward and centered too. If you are like me and aren't a fan of most unlined bras especially Cleo's this might be a good option to try.
I wore the bra for several hours today and it is quite comfortable as far as fit, but the material is a bit scratchy, hopefully that will change with more wash and wear.
It has been a long time since I've tried one of Ewa's S models. The last one I tried was what I guessed too be about a cup size too big. Despite remembering kind of liking the fit for the most part, I hadn't gotten around to trying another S for some reason. I finally decided to go ahead and try one a cup size down, and it fits quite well. It's a pattern I wasn't in love with initially, but after seeing it in person I actually really like the print, it's very subtle. Full review on my blog.
The Tutti Rouge Jessica is an interesting bra, it allows you to wear it 3 different ways. You can wear it unlined or with the boosters, and have 2 levels of padding to choose from. I think it fits nicely as an unlined bra despite the wires being a bit wide, but I'm not quite sold on the boosters, I feel like they give an odd shape, although it's less noticeable in photos that in person, so maybe I'm just paranoid about them.
