Issue resolved
Tacked down the lace on top, will shorten band and possibly overlap gore
Original problem
Band rides up in the back, and throughout the day the front rides up too and I find myself pulling it down and having to rescoop. I sewed the top lace down so it's not gapping, so I'm happy with that. The cups feel good. The straps are definitely farther apart than I would like. Currently wearing it on the 2nd hooks because the band is stretchy, but even though it feels comfortably tight like that, it still rides up. They don't make a smaller band sister size unfortunately. Gore too wide? Cups not projected enough on the bottom? No idea.

helpfulI think that the cups are a little too big and too projected--this bra is expecting your boobs to be more triangular, if that makes sense. You've over-tightened the shoulder straps to take up some of the excess cup depth, which is pulling the band up.

I realize that was a vague descriptor. By 'triangular', I really just meant projected--sticking out more from the chest in a more concentrated area. Your breast tissue doesn't project as much as the cup expects, but it's also taller than the cup expects.

helpfulThis bra is too big all over. You could make it work but hand sewing in a black bra cup from another bra and shortening the band. I have also narrowed a gore but this is not the best looking alteration with my minimal sewing skills. I agree with the over-tightened straps.
You could also shorten the cups at the wire by folding in fabric at the wire. This would give a more flattering visual for your torso.
The tacked lace worked very well. Good job!

When you say triangular, do you mean like equal projection on the top and bottom?
(Edit- I added pics of an alteration I did, idk if that gives more info about my boobs but I thought it might be interesting)
