Issue resolved
I end up falling out of the center of this bra.
Original problem
I feel pretty confident that this bra is too small in the cup for me, but I also notice that it cuts into my sides in a way that looks more exaggerated than most bras do on me. Why might this be? Is it because the band is so narrow?

helpfulIt looks a good fit from the pictures - I can't see quadding from the angles provided. I actually prefer swimwear to be a tighter fit than bras, but that is really a matter of personal preference. Swimwear stretches out with wear somewhat, but if you feel discomfort from the tight band, you just might end up not wearing it.

i've noticed that swimsuit tops are tight because when they get wet, they will stretch out. i would test it, and jump into the shower or tub and see if after a couple minutes if it still feels too tight, u never know, it could get too loose!

but with the narrow band thing, i have problems with that as well. i find bras with "wing" height of at least 3.5" works best on concealing and minimizing mooshed skin.Updated on September 3, 2015 Flag this
I ended up taking it for a spin and it turns out that my boobs keep sliding towards the center and out of the cups! I'm gonna say that the cups are just placed too far apart and are too shallow in the center, I guess.
