helpfulThe Rive Gauche is a super comfy bra, the only issue I see for you is that if you go down in cup size, the wires will be a much smaller and I fear they won't fit you. It seems like you've struggled tremendously to find something that is even comfortable, so since this feels good in every other regard I would consider altering the cups to where they fit you. I think taking the cups in at the horizontal seam to eliminate the empty "tip" would do the trick. I have done the same alteration myself to adjust the fit in old-fashioned "bullet bra" type cups that were empty at the ends, it's a simple pin-and-sew type of alteration that any competent tailor can do.
I remember reading that you had found at least one salesperson who worked with you and that you felt comfortable with so perhaps you could ask her about alterations in connection with the store--many boutiques and department stores offer this,sometimes there is a small fee. If you bought this at a Nordstroms' for example I believe they have an alterations service.
