Your help was instrumental in my finding the correct style
Original problem
material in cups is too loose, the band also is to big for a 42. have to fasten on the final set of hooks and then it's almost too tight.

helpfulThis cut of cups can be a problem for full on bottom breasts. I'd recommend to just stay away from bras that have high cups or much fabric on the top part as it will be hard for you to fill it out.
Size wise, I don't think it would matter much for this bra. I'd recommend walking from this style altogether. Best to take steps from other models that have better chances.

helpfulAs a 42C (a cup size down) has the same volume as a 40D - try a 40D (which will also have a tighter band)
Is your ribcage measurement still 46 comfy and 44 tight? If so, in other bras you will likely want a 44 or 46 band depending on how they run.
