Bra fitting help » open space in the bottom of the cup

Issue resolved
I was experiencing the orange in the cup effect. The cup was not the right shape for my breasts. This bra was more for full on top breasts, while mine are full on the bottom.
Original problem
There is space in the bottom of the cup and I am already on the second set of hooks. Am I in the wrong bra size?

helpfulYes, this stretches 2.5 inches past your loose ribcage and 3 past your comfortable ribcage. I think you'd do better in a 32/70 band.
With regards to the cup, can you shuffle it up at all or does it fall back down? The falling back down could be due to either the loose band or that there isn't enough projection in the bottom of the cup for you to fill it.
Have you considered trying the Cleo Lucy? It might be worth a shot in 32FF.

helpfulI think there is not enough projection in the bottom of the cup, also it is slightly large in the band.

helpfulI think you are having many of the same issues that I've been having. I still haven't figured out my correct size, but I guess I'm slowly getting better at knowing what to look for... I think this center gore is too narrow. Since you said you fall back down, this phto isn't after swoop and scoop, right? This bra only has a depth of 10 inches -- I think you need more than that (more depth/projection) because this bra is sort of pushing you down flat (I have this problem in general with Natori bras -- with them, my boobs also fall after I try to swoop and scoop.). I think you'd end up with quad boob or creases at the sides if you swoop and scoop in this cup volume with a tighter band. Maybe in the measurements search for a smaller band size, plus a depth of 12 inches and cup separation of at least an inch. I also think you'd be easier to fit in a higher center gore. My breasts are roughly as wide apart as yours, and I need at least a 3 inch gore.
Also, yes, you definitely need the smaller band. I would look up possible fits using measurements and not focus on standard sizes. I have one 36FF that mostly fits, but my measurements result in recommendations from 34GG to a 34JJ and one or two K's.

So, here are some recommendations I got when I put in stretched band 31, depth 12, gore width 1 and gore height 3:
Fliretelle Divine Balconnette 30GG
Flirtelle Joy Balconnette 30GG
Flirtelle Tiffany Balconnette 30GG
Actually, there are several Flirtelle bras that fit with this range.
Curvy Kate Ella, Dreamcatcher, and Wonderland: 30GG
Curvy Kate Angel 30H
I also got several Freyas sized between 32FF and 30H.

The cup always falls back down. There are permanent wrinkles in the bottom of the cup even after I take it off. I just thought I needed a push up but I've already moved to the second hooks and I've only worn the bra a couple of times. I'll start shopping for bras in the 32. Thanks for the reassurance, it's hard finding the perfect bra when you can't try it on. I'll take a look at the Cleo Lucy. Thank you, Jillsas.
