Issue resolved
I gave up on the Jasmine style and similar bras from Panache. They don't work for me and I found bras that fit a lot better.
Original problem
I am fighting with this bra for weeks. It never felt really supportive, the whole construction felt too weak. When I put the bra on, it looks like a decent fit though.
After wearing it for a while (pictures 2-4) I get some weird issues with bottom folding & wrinkling and some empty fabric on the side. The issues got worse with time. I cannot wear this bra anymore. Why does it fit that terribly? Am I wearing the wrong size?

helpfulDo you think the wires are too wide? Maybe too much projection for that wire width?
In pic 4, I am having complete Bravissimo Alana (AU01) flashbacks of how that was on you.

helpfulIt looks like the band might be 1 size too big, it does appear to be riding up a little in back. Almost all the support comes from the band.
Being it looks like a thin material bra, it just by design, might not be near as supportive as you need.

Actually I currently wear 34 bands mostly and I have no problems with them. But weirdly on Jasmine I would almost need a 30 band. I think it is the construction that is too weak.
-
I do think the band is wrong,as well, construction and fabric wise...need a much better elastic at the bottom and thicker fabric for the band. That kind of elastic just collapses.

helpfulI cannot get over how much shorter the bra looks on you than me. Shorter & deeper. I think the bra is actually too deep for you. Too deep like 36J Marcie though- sizing down probably won't save you. You can sort of counteract the depth by shortening the straps up like there's no tomorrow (goodness knows I do it often enough), but that doesn't really help with support, and you may just find it means straps dig into your shoulders.
I can only wear Jasmine for a few hours at a time. I actually find I don't get enough wire spring so the wires sit out away from my body and don't pull back at all even though the band would probably be considered stable in some people's eyes. I can get everything in the right place at first, but moving around means that wires poke me under the arms, even after bending them & taking in the gore.
Stretch lace is really good for giving the illusion of more space, but it actually doesn't provide any support to speak of. So the upper 1/3 of your boobs are really just sitting there & not being held by the bra.
I think that overall, this cut is too tall, and too deep for you. You seem to be doing better in Sculptresse & Elomi stuff, which is designed for heavy lifting. I mean, you could still wear this as a fashion bra- it does look nice under a dress for a few hours for a party or something, but without pulling the bra apart & putting it back together, you're not going to get a size which is right. Why do bra companies think that larger cups= taller cups?

http://www.bratabase.com/browse/panache/jasmine-6951/34K/ Look at petalmoon
She can pull the lace out like madness cause the lace does No supporting. She actually fits that bra in the same way as I. On both of us the bottom section comes up morrow than halfway our boobs. On you it comes up halfway only.
I'd say this bra needs to be fitted as a halfcupwith the stretch lace doing nothing.
I think top sections of bras never can be expected to do any lifting or support what so ever. If we think of physics instead of wishful bra fitting thinking that would be obvious? (ping @MilkAndHoney)
I think bihal and you use completely different bra fitting methods, so even if your boobs are similar I think it doesn't matter since the fitting isn't.
I was completely wrong recommending Jasmine to you and I'm sorry for it ;/
As a comparison; I would need either a 34F/36E or a 32H in this bra. It's completely logic. And imo it is what divides traditional bra fitting from +0

Eh- Jasmine is actually one of my better bras. There's just a shocking lack of options available for me, and I can tolerate Jasmine for a few hours. I really need plus size stability innovations with a tiny band & narrow cups. Said bra doesn't exist insofar as I can tell. I've actually found going braless to be better, and that's not something I'd ever expect to have heard myself saying.
Hmm... I'm not sure about what you're saying about the top section of bras. They do to a certain extent hold us in, and with a good fit (I'm thinking like Cleo Meg when it fitted me), can actually keep things stable. That's why we don't just go around in half-cups all the time. Having something on the upper section helps to stabilise things a bit. This is answering from my intuitive side rather than my analytical/scientific side though. :)

Hm... I think I get it about the top section. Also does it mean that Jasmines bottom section does only come up halfway on my boobs, that I need bigger bottom sections in bras? Means that Jasmine is too small on bottom? :O (Or am I wrong here?)
If the bottom section would come up higher it would fit me better and be more stable? So if I would try a 34K (not that I ever would, only talking hypothetically here), the bottom of the bra would fit better, while the rest would be too big all over
I will have to remeasure myself, I almost think the bra is / became too big for me?Also the top section can be supportive in a bra - boobs of steel effect I got in Bravissimo Boudoir Beau / Alana or in slightly small 34J Ariza (that currently almost fits again). In Jasmine my boobs are jiggling like crazy.
Also I feel that my boobs are in no way "shaped" by the cups - when I put the bra on it looks like the bra gives me a round uplifted shape but with time my boobs just do what they want and the bra does nothing to prevent this. It is then just a boobs coverage that does no shaping or support. -
If the bottom section came up higher, it would be more stable. I think you like to fit yourself very close to your chest?
Maybe you've got smaller again. If you measure at 40cm breast perimeter, you're smaller in perimeter than me, and I'd say possibly better off in a 32JJ/34J if you want to have a stable fit. I'm like 42.5-43cm perimeter these days, and nearly anything in a 30K is too small in the top centre, but I've kind of given up caring.
Of course, that smaller size does sometimes come with the tradeoff of a little cutting in in the upper section (probably not in the Jasmine, but in other bras), but you'd feel more secure and shaped.
I always feel like bra fit is about compromise, and I think that it would be worth at least trying out a smaller size in bras- you may get an overall result you prefer. I'd rather fit myself the way you're fitted now, and then tighten up the band & straps so my breasts are held outwards and immobile, but I have so much depth to width & height, I have relatively little choice.

helpfulHopefully this will explain the folding problem: http://xlhourglass.blogspot.com/2012/12/figuring-out-ewa-michalak.html
Essentially, the bra is the wrong shape. It could be a few different shape problems (wires are too narrow, cup is too shallow), but whichever it is, it won't allow your breasts to fill out the bottom. There's more info on the "orange in a glass effect" over at r/ABraThatFits: http://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/15skno/the_bras_in_my_supposed_size_fit_weird_and_im_not/c7phuxw
I hope this is helpful!

I have not thought about orange in the glass yet :O So thanks for the link. I am just clueless why it happens. I cannot imagine the cups being to shallow or the wires too narrow on this bra?
-
I disagree with the Orange in a glass for this bra. Its main symptom is an empty tip of the cup and in this case the cup is very well filled on that part, it is the sides and bottom that.
http://www.bratabase.com/knowledge/orange-in-a-glass/I agree with BumbleBean that this looks more of a case of a too wide wire than a too narrow one.
If this was Orange in a glass, the solution would be a bigger cup and I don't think that's the solution here.
-
I am really not familiar with Orange in a glass - I never really dealt with that issue on the bras I tried. But it cannot be that then. How do I know about too wide wires? I love my Elomi wires, which are about the same width than Jasmines wires. So I figured that Jasmines wires cannot be too wide for me. My answer to most bra issues was always sizing up, but I am done with that, so I certainly won't size up in this bra. I even think, I should rather size down in bras. Some of my bras feel too big recently.
-
I had a similar thing with the Cleo Meg. It's definitely not your standard orange in a glass, but it might be that the contour of the bra doesn't exactly match the contour of your breast in the lower outer quadrant. If you're particularly full in that quadrant or have a bit of a splay, there may not be enough projection in that particular area, even though there is ample projection front and center.

helpfullooks like the strap is too big and it's riding up in back. The cup might be too deep as well. I find Panache to run larger and stretch out more easily than other bras, like Fantasie and Chantelle.

You mean the band is too big? I get deep red marks from it, but I also feel that the band rides up a bit. I don't think the band is too big when it comes to measurements but rather just a weak construction.
I don't know about Fantasie and Chantelle, I never tried any of these.

helpfulugh idk why it's not letting me reply directly to Jj, sorry about that!! I guess I was using OiaG more loosely than it should have been, sorry. I tend to use it as a sort of, like, 'it's not really the size that's the problem here' catch-all, haha. I'd meant that something about the shape was off instead of the size, that's all. I wouldn't think that sizing up or down would necessarily help, but that I wouldn't know much about, I have small breasts, haha. But you're right, OiaG specifically refers to what you described and I used it incorrectly, I'm sorry.

I hope that my experience related here with Jasmine helps
.
I bought two Jasmines also -32HH and 32J. The J cup is a tad roomier than the HH which is the size I usually take in Panache.
Now I found the straps too long and they can only be adjusted halfway. The cups seemed not to offer much support for my large heavy somewhat soft breasts. The lace on top is forgiving (prevents quadboobs) but doesn't give much support. At first I thought this bra was structurally weak and set out to remedy.I chose the 32HH to wear as my everyday bra and set about altering. I shortened the straps by removing the stitches that joined them to the cup and resewed shorter. Then I used extenders using the appropriate hooks that would give me enough tightness in the band.
Swoop and scoop helped to place the right amount of breast tissue in the cups. After swoop and scoop, you have to keep tugging at the top of the lace so that the breast tissue finally falls and settles into the cup so as the prevent the "orange in the glass" syndrome; this bra needs a lot of work after you have identified your correct size bz Panache's sizing is inconsistent. That's why I bought two sizes. The gore came up high enough for me to keep tissue of each breast in its cup.
After all this work, I was satisfied that I could use this bra but it had to be altered. I have to alter all my bras because of fit issues and bz I have large soft heavy breasts. -
Me again. Forgot to say that the bra material is not sturdy to begin with and the lace on top is soft. I measure 32.5" underbust snug and 43" comfortably around and across bust. So at times I use 32HH or 32J depending. If you buy a 34 band you will find that it will ride up if you are a 32+ bz as I said before this bras is not very sturdy to begin with. The band fabric soft and stretchy. You have to outsmart this bra.

helpfulI think I agree with BumbleBean - some of the pictures show the cups to be a just too wide.

I never thought of wires being too wide :O I think, I need rather wide wires. But maybe there is just too much projection in these cups. I had not thought of Alana but they look similar, just that Alana actually felt supportive. My theory why Jasmine does not fit is; unstable construction and too big top section that cannot support full on top boobs.
