So today I went into a local departement store because I wanted to look for some jeans. But then when I walked trought the lingerie departement I saw some Cleo bras!!!

There were:
Cleo Meg
Cleo Marcie
Cleo Juna Black
Cleo Laila
Cleo Jude
Panache Sienna Lagoon Black

Oh my god! I had no idea that they sell now Cleo bras! Of course I wanted to try some of them on. But it was just too good to be true… there were only sizes from 32D-38G. Ok Juna, Laila and Jude don’t go up to J-Cup anyway, but couldn’t at least they could stock the full range of a bra?

So I took a 36G, 38G Meg and 38G Marcie the sister sizes of 30HH / J which I normally wear to try on because I wanted at least get a look at how they may fit. Of course the band was much too big and there fore the cups also looks too big (boobs falling out on bottom and sides because the band was too loose) but with pulling the band together with one hand and scooping with the other I could at least get a hint how it may looks in the right size for me…

About the Meg: The colour is much darker than on the pictures from Cleo, but it looks very good. 36G gave me quardaboob with the band pulled together. (that red ribbon could may be a problem with full on top boobs ) The 38G was better but the shape was a bit odd slightly pointy. But I it gives a lot of forward projection.

The Marcie I tried on in a 38G (if you follow me you might know that I tried the Marcie in a 30HH and it looked very weird ) so I was curious how the cups of the 38G (sister size to 30J) would fit and… the shape was fantastic! (as good as it gets with the band-pulling-together-method) So I think the problem was that 30HH was actually too small for me and 30J would have been better. But there was still that weird digging in of the seam between upper and under cup (which is due to an sewing error) but If Cleo will fix this with the new Aquablue Marcie that comes in SS13 I’m so going to try a 30J then!!!

If you live in Switzerland and fit into a size between 32D – 38G then go to Manor! (I don't know if there also "Manor" shops in other european countries, maybe in Germany or Austria)

And PS: I’m so going to fit my Mom now in the right size. I estimated her right size to be between 32DD and F. There will be no excuses anymore like that a 36B is good for her, that she does not need an E-Cup or don’t want to buy bras on the internet anyway and so on. :)

  • It is the same thing in some German Karstadt stores too; same range of sizes with Cleo from 32-38 D-G.

Good to know that Manor now stocks Cleo, I have a friend in Switzerland who will be glad to hear that.

  • Somehow I understand from a economical point of view that they only stock a few sizes so far. Bra fitting is not common knowledge around here and I think that not much women who need a 30 band and below know about that and also women who need GG cups and up know about that (I had also no Idea, have been wearing H&M bras 80D or 85D or Triumph Minimizers in 75F or 80F) But it's a step in the right direction. Maybe they will sell a lot and then stock more sizes *wishful thinking*.
