This bra predates my introduction to my correct size. At 34D the band was too big and the cups too small. I rarely wore it because it didn't offer enough support. I did find it quite soft for something so unsupportive, and it might make a nice bra for someone who actually wears a 34D. Final note, be aware this bra is SERIOUSLY padded at the bottom of the cup - there is perhaps a whole inch of it. It's very soft and pillow-like.
