Got bras? Create an account

So you found a great bra, it’s pretty and it fits you well, and you love it. So how do you go about not destroying it?

Washing

Opinions differ, as on everything. Should you hand-wash? Should you machine-wash?
If you decide to machine-wash: Watch your bras, the wires can destroy your machine! They should be in protective mesh bags.
Whichever washing method you use, don’t ever put bras in the dryer.

Storing

Don’t turn your molded bras inside out, such as by folding them in half and putting one cup inside the other. Don’t squish them too hard.

Goodbye

Your bra is two years old, you wear it on the tightest hook and it still doesn’t support you? Also the wires are poking out and the color has changed to an odd greyish green and several of the seams are coming apart?
(Actually just one or two of these symptoms may be enough.)
It may be, as sad as it sounds, time to say goodbye to your bra. Use Bratabase’s engine to have similar bras recommended to you (or maybe even a bra with the cut of your beloved old bra?).
