I've noticed Panache bras are made wildly different from style-to-style as well as by season. So I got a 30g, a size I thought might work and one cup down and up from it to compare. I am happy to say the 30g works well. The 30ff band is nice but the cups cut into tissue giving a bit of quadraboob. Unfortunately, I couldn't tell if the "30GG" would have been more appropriate: I firmly ... believe it is actually about a 36GG just MISLABELED!!! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" /> If you look at the size measurements an average band can be about 7" or 16cm smaller than the "band size" to allow for stretch & support. If so, this bra is definitely far too large in both band & cup to be what it says. Sadly, this makes a comparison of all three an impossibility with what I ordered.

I'll keep an eye out for more colors of this style in the future.

    Measured unstretched before wearing.
    Purchased early-April '12 from Freshpair.

My boobs have grown quite a bit since the last time I measured myself, so I had to order a new batch
I'm pretty projected and my breasts are pretty "perky," and I'm even leaning toward full on bottom, with close-set breasts.
This fit me perfectly, and it's so comfortable. I often have problems with gores digging in because I'm petite, but I didn't have that problem with this bra. I don't know why it was discontinued, but I bought a backup one just so I'd have one around.

I love the feminine look of pure white bras, and this one is no exception. The shape is quite ideal, typically Cleo-round but held a little lower than Lily or Alexa. I got this one as a diagnostic bra when just starting my correctly-fitting bra journey, and though I still love it I've just discovered over time that my shape and projection is better suited to Marcie.

Oh my! The girls have room to breathe (insert happy dance). I tried the 30F Lucy first and was prepared to make a permanent departure from all Panache wires; perhaps all bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> Seriously, I was typing and deleting expletives during my review of the 30F. However, a little more room for the twins has made a world of difference. Sadly, despite the remarkable improvement over the 30F, I still must reject this bra. I see now that when supported and not squished, I have close set breasts. The Lucy wires sit like Shel Silverstein's "babysitter"--on the twins. The cups fully accommodate my tissue, but the cups bite into my arm near the strap, and the wires are easily .5"+ too wide. Until two weeks ago, I was ignorant about immediate projection: it is the difference between constant pain and endless comfort for my previously labeled wide, shallow breasts. Thank you lcl0706 for your sage appraisal!!

This is a beautiful bra!! The color is something special, the embroidery on the top of the cups is neon orange..... Soooo cool and happy color, i am sure my boobs feel like they are in a party.. Jajajaja......the rest of the bra is not white, it's more like a mix between pale pink and blush color, it's really pretty, I could say it's the happiest bra I own. The wires run higher than the "lily" and the "Marcie" the gore is lower than the other two ( "lily" and "Marcie") the lift is good, very natural and it gives the classic round shape Cleo bras give, ... the band feels exactly the same as my "lily" very true to size, it feels a little stretchier than the "lily" though. The only problem I am having with this bra is that there's a little cuadboob inside the cup, (in the horizontal seem) I have the same problem with the "lily" but it shows a little more with this one, I don't really know what's the problem.. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Iam thinking that maybe it's the kind of tissue that my breasts are made of (I am almost 42 years old, and have breastfed 3 children) I am so in love with this bra I will use it anyway since it doesn't show that much.

It fits very well. Uplifts appropriately, and is close enough in the center. The cups aren't filled out to the side, and occasionally the wire feels like it might be poking, but I've never bruised or anything. The one curious thing is that the band feels tight - it digs in, and I don't consider myself fleshy - but it still rides high in the back.

I am just starting to find my correct bra size and this is probably my best fitting bra so far. Based on my measurements I am around a 30FF to 30G. This bra is not a bad fit for me but does not feel quite right either. Something about it causes it to become uncomfortable by the end of the day, likely the under wires digging in a bit. I have some slight quad boob, not at the top of the cups, which if anything gap slightly, but at the horizontal seam where the upper lace/mesh section meets the cup. It is not happening all the time but ... comes and goes probably based on how I am standing. A 30F was much too small and 30G was way too big. I may just be on between sizes or this bra is not good for my shape. I would say I'm probably even to slightly fuller on bottom from what I can tell. This bra is okay for thicker tops but I cannot wear it with thin tops due to nipple show through and the fit issues. I will keep it but I'm still looking for a better more comfortable fit.

    • If your principal fit issue is those "quadboobing" where upper lace and mesh section meets, I would sugest trying to carefully stretch the seam while wet. It worked wonders on my Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831) :)

    • Thank you for the suggestion, I just bought it so I haven't washed it yet, but I will definitely try that!

    White colourway:

One of my first "well-fitting" bras, and I'm not sure I would purchase it again, knowing my shape requirements better now than I did then.

I require immediate projection at the base of the cup, which Lucy has because it's a FOB-friendly bra; however I also need immediate projection at the gore, to cope with inner fullness, and Lucy's cup is quite shallow in this region. It also has far too wide a gore for me; it ends up twisting up double on itself to try and make room. By the end of the day, the shallowness near the gore and the wide gore have lost the battle ... with my inner fullness and the cups get pushed down in the centre and so outwards at their lower outer corner, particularly on the side of my smaller breast, resulting in the underwire digging and chafing at my ribs.

Wires are wide. Band runs the loosest of my unpadded Cleos -- Marcie and Lily run tighter by approximately 1 set of hooks. (I'm a between-bander in unpadded Cleo. In the Lucy I use one extra set of hooks care of an extender. For Marcie and Lily I use two extra sets of hooks.) Gives the uplifted, rounded shape Cleo is famous for.

I have a love-hate relationship with the Lucy. It's one of my most comfortable bras, fitting my shape beautifully, and a great everyday bra, I just find it ... kinda boring?

The good: comfortable! The gore height is perfect for my close-set breasts (although the width is definitely not perfect - but strangely enough the gore just kinds of folds happily over itself so one wire rests atop the other and the whole thing still sits flat and comfortably). Wings are high enough to keep me contained, band is snug (probably snugger on me than it's supposed to be because of the gore folding, but it's perfect for me). ... Truly fabulous lift and shape under clothing, both frontal and in profile. I honestly love the shape this bra gives me without resorting to lining/padding.

The bad: I don't like the frontal view of the bra. The gore is too wide for me. The wires are technically too wide for me - but it's more comfortable than too narrow.

Which is really not very much bad at all. The Lucy is fast turning into my favourite everyday bra.

(This review is for the red colour way. I also have the white colour way, which I find fits the same.)

This might be the perfect bra for me, if the underwires didn't dig into my ribs. I'm hoping maybe this goes away after a few wears, because I really love this bra and it's perfect for my shape (full on bottom).

Otherwise, the band fits just tightly enough, the straps are a bit wide but good, and I fill out the cups perfectly with no wrinkling or gaping anywhere. I wish the underwires weren't so stiff, but this seems to be a problem with me and Cleo bras. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
