I found this bra very uncomfortable, as the underwires come up really high in the center, and push against my sternum.

The Wacoal Women's Plus-Size Basic Beauty Full Figure Underwire (855192) was one of my fav bras, but I had it in a 32D and when I lost weight it stopped fitting. Sadly they didn't make smaller band sizes for this model. Which sucked because it had the perfect back ("leotard"?) for someone with narrow shoulders like mine. BUT I just realized they make this bra, which has the same back and comes in 30DD! Bonus it is also has some light padding, so unlike the Full Figure Underwire, I can wear it under some tees. So yeah, great bra for small band size/larger cup size and also for narrow/sloped shoulders.

This is a decent fit for a molded bra but I just don't like it. The cups are too tall so they cut into my armpits and there is empty space in the area near where the straps connect. It feels too full coverage for me. I don't like the feeling of the gore because it's tall and too wide. The cups have side support slings made of stretchy, thin mesh. They don't do anything for me because I don't have much outer fullness. The band fits like a loose 28. The wires themselves feel flatter than what I've felt in other bras, which I thought was interesting and could be more comfortable. It might fit me better in a 30D. The fabric is soft and I think it could be a nice t-shirt bra for someone with a different shape.

    Used to fit

I was surprised that I like this bra. Seeing it on the hanger, I thought, “No way,” because it looked kind of granny-ish. It’s pretty cute on, though. Gives a really nice, round shape.

The band is quite firm. My snug UB is 29, and the 30 still feels very snug (I just bought it, so no break in, yet). The cups run large, IMO. My bust is 36-ish inches standing and 38 leaning, and my horizontal perimeter is 9 inches, but the DD fits very well. The material is stretchy, so I think it’s forgiving. It’s got good immediate projection, which is something that I need. Normally 30DDD ... cups are too small for me in Wacoal (and 30G becomes surprisingly wide and tall), but I’ve always tried their molded styles. This was a very different shape than what I’ve previously experienced in this brand. I have the ever-so-tiniest bit of spillage on my larger breast, but nothing that’s noticeable unless I’m really looking for it. I have even-leaning-toward FOB fullness, and I fill it out in all parts of the cup, even though the cups are somewhat tall.

The wires are surprisingly (and wonderfully) narrow at 5 inches. This is so hard to find and is one of my biggest requirements. Large wires swoop back into my armpit, pulling my breasts with them. That flattens me out, and it causes the cups to cut into my armpits where the cup meets the strap (that hurts!). That doesn’t happen with this bra, especially because (god bless Wacoal), it has center-pull straps. Those are so hard to find in a small band!

I’m close set and was worried about the 1-inch gore, but it seems to be fine. In most bras, the wires sit on my inner tissue, but with this bra, the gore lies super flat against my chest.

The cups are “lined” with spacer foam, but it’s the tiniest amount. I worried about this, too, because I’m used to unlined bras making me look pointy. This does not. It’s rounded and mostly hides my nipples. You can see them through the bra, but not through my shirt. It gives a nice, rounded appearance that doesn’t add or subtract from my natural shape. Just brings everything to the front and smooths it out.
