    Fits

This bra was love at first try. It fits wonderfully, like a snug hug, keeps everything in place. I went for a run shortly after buying it and it was the most comfortable I felt in ages, bounce was minimal and I could breathe and move freely. I'm glad I followed the advice in other reviews to size up in the band - the 32 band fits me perfectly but I usually wear 30 bands. If I had gotten a 30 band it would have been hard to breathe. I have soft breast tissue so the compression kind of flattens me out, but I like how comfortable it is. The bra has a sling like structure inside in non-stretchy fabric. There is also a seamed wireless cup on the inside, made from the same non-stretchy fabric. These both help give the support and compression needed. Bonus, this "mellow blue" color (it's actually coral pink and light pink combined with dark blue) looks much better in person than it did on the website.

    Didn't fit

During my journey to find a bra that fits, I also decided to find a sports bra that fits. I decided to compare the top 3 companies for sports bras recommended on r/ABraThatFits: Panache, Freya, and Shock Absorber. My main goal was to find a sports bra suitable for running. For reference, I'm projected, FOB, center full, narrow roots, petite (4'11"), and normal bra size UK 28F.

I sized up in the band after reading other reviews, and I really should have sized up in the cup too. The cups were way too small and flattened my breasts into an ugly shape. The bra also cut into the sides ... of my armpits in a suffocating way.

The material was very thin and didn't fully conceal the outline of my nipples. I also felt the quality of the material was not as good compared to Freya and Panache.

It did pass my jog-in-place/jump tests though. My boobs were not going anywhere in that thing though that may also be because it was too small. In the end, I didn't think it was worth it to try sizing up to 30F. After comparing to the Freya and Panache bras, I very much prefer encapsulation sports bras compared to compression.

I've posted links to my reviews of the other sports bras below for easier reference:

    Panache Underwired 28E: http://bra.pe/X2fI/

My shape: close set, center full, full on bottom, average/narrow width roots, tall shallow roots, soft tissue.

This is the 6th Shock Absorber bra I try. This one is a better fit for me then the Classic Support style, but it was very tight in the band. I tried it with an extender, and added two extra hooks, and the cups felt better, but I'm not sure if they're still somewhat too small for me.

The top hook is very hard to do once you put the bra on; I managed to hook it, but I was contorting in every which way which was ridiculous. The ... straps are borderline too short for me, but they're okay. The fabric is stiff to offer compression, but not uncomfortable. I wish it came up a little bit higher in the front and the sides, which is where I still have movement when I do the bounce test.

I am not keeping this bra, but I want to try this in a 34DD and 34E to compare the two sizes to see if these are a better fit for me.

This bra runs at least one to two sizes small in the band and one to two sizes small in the cup. I fit in some 30FF bras and ended up in a 32G to make it fit. The cups are extremely wide but it's very supportive once you find the right size to fit you. Cups are very tight at the armpit and tall.

Didn't order the right size and I spill over in this bra. Support is ok and the cup fit is nice, but it's very difficult to reach the top set of clasps on the back.

The band runs REALLY TIGHT! I could fasten lower part of it, but I could not breath. So I had to use the extender. And I have no problems with the upper set of hooks and eyes. The cups are not true to size, they feel smaller. I usually wear 28ff, and I won't be able to wear this bra on my fuller days. So I'd say this is more like 26G/24GG. The straps are not fully adjustable, but they are ok for me.
The bra gives not perfectly round and smooth shape, bit it gives good support. And I like the color combination

Since I'm currently having some issues getting a new Panache Sport in Switzerland without spending a fortune, I started looking for alternatives and found this one on offer on Amazon, so got it quite cheap.
First of all, I should have bought a cup size up. The 32 band fits me well, but the cups are definitely a bit small. They mostly cut into my tissue under my arms, which I feel is partially just a side effect of my boobs being pushed against me. I also get a bit of quadding above the cups. Seeing that they end quite high on my chest, I don't think that's ... ideal. (When I really swoop and scoop, I get lots of cleavage.) I suspect all of these issues would be at least improved by going up a cup size.
For comparison, I usually wear a 30H to 30HH, but saw the band on this wasn't as stretchy as my normal bras.
However, I just wore it for a 15-minute cardio workout and it felt very secure, so I will likely keep it just for that.

This is the only bra that I trust to keep me locked down while I run. It's not exaggerating to say that this bra *allows* me to run. It shockingly eliminates bounce on my big, soft, heavy, jiggly boobs. I guess it's a compression style bra (uniboob-style, not separate cups), but it doesn't flatten or smoosh me like a cheap Champion would (my leaning bust is 40", and my overbust in this is 37"). So I'm not sure how it works, really???

The band sizes on these are just literally wrong - this is a 32G but the stretched band is 30" even - so if you're considering this model, definitely size up in the band. For the record, I usually wear a 30GG in UK bras (Cleo, Panache etc).

A sports bra that locks my breasts down completely while running! Fantastic! I don't even think about my breasts once while running, which is a first! The 28 band is very tight on me, even given my 26" ribcage. If I were a true 28" ribcage I would absolutely definitely size up to 30. And there's even another set of hooks higher up that connects the straps together for even more support. I've read about other women buying a band size up for this and other Shock Absorber bras but I think if you do you're sacrificing support, especially considering bras stretch out over time. One gripe I have is that I wish the straps could be made tighter. There's just not a lot of option for adjustment.

The red colorway is very similar to the white colorway, which I reviewed here: 32F - Shock Absorber ยป Active Multi Sports (4490)

I think this one is a bit stretchier band-wise, since I've had it for about a year less and it's a teensy bit stretchier. Still, it's very very firm (almost uncomfortably so).
