I've mixed feelings about this. I'm SUPER happy that I've found a perfect hold-em-down sports bra which fits my 25 inch ribcage like a wearable vice. I can run, play tennis and hockey with this bra without feeling my titties jiggling everywhere. However, it weirdly wrinkles at the side of the cup and I've a little bit of armpit fat going on. I'll make do with it.

Wrinkling, but doesn't feel too big.

    • It certainly... looks too big? Is the wrinkling only in the outer fabric, can you tell? And have you tried a 28D for comparison?

    • 1

rainbrasspetals , the 28D was digging in, like I had heaps of overhang. The wrinkling is only on the outer, though the seam in the inside seems to be stretching.

    • are the straps tight?

    • A bit.

This is a great bra! I have a 26.5" ribcage and the 30 band fits me nice and tight. The cups run a little big and look a tad lumpy or wrinkly, I might want to try a 30C. There is no foam in the cups, yet this bra is a lot less minimizing than the Moving Comfort Rebound Racer (350037). It does control all bouncing extremely well during jumping jacks, jumprope, leaping, etc.

The two sets of hooks in the back are tricky. I am able to reach the upper set because I have extremely flexible shoulders.

My old, ratty Shock Absorber bra, saver of boobs. If I hop up and down, my boobs do bounce a bit, but this bra *is* at least 5 years old – but it still works, on the second pair of hooks! The straps are wide and don't dig in, the bra is comfy and has kept its color surprisingly well. All in all, <3.

I sister sized up from my usual 30G to a 32FF, which worked well. I may even be able to get away with a 32G.

There are two things I don't like about this bra:
    1. The front of the band doesn't have much stretch to it, and it pressed into my ribs in a really painful way.
    2. The top hooks are really difficult to fasten. I had to twist my arms in a really uncomfortable way to be able to fasten them (I'm surprised I was even able to).

For the pain issue alone I'll be returning this. It's not that the band is too tight, I can definitely pull it away from my body like my usual bras, but for whatever reason my ribs really hate it.

    • For #2 you can hook the top row where you need it then pull it over your head to get it on. I do it all of the time.

It sucks that it hurts though, maybe it's just that particular one?

    • jlcl119 I actually did try that first, but then I couldn't get the bottom row hooked. Perhaps the band is tighter than I first realized...

Because the 32E - Shock Absorber » Active Multi Sports (4490) Dark Floral measured one band size small, I figured this one would too, but it's closer to two. I could stretch it to 26" and that's it. I could barely fasten it and it hurt my lats for the few seconds I had it on, so no modeling pics of this one.

Anyway, my 28F - Shock Absorber » Active Multi Sports (4490) also measures about 26", the difference, I think is use. I've had my 28F forever, it's been washed and worn more times than I can count and the materials are not as stiff and unforgiving. I could probably wear this one too with enough time (or when I cut and am less fluffy), but it was the most expensive of the three I bought so I'm sending it back.

I marked quality as "okay" the Dark Pink at least shows consistency with both sizes running two bands small, but the Dark Floral isn't as consistent.

This is a 32 that measures to about 29-29.5" stretched, so one band size small which I expected.

I don't particularly care for this pattern, but it is cheap and the bra is top-notch. I bought three after I returned the 30E - Shock Absorber » Active Multi Sports (4490) with the intention of keeping one, I'm not sure if I want this one or the 32E - Shock Absorber » Active Multi Sports (4490) Dark Pink.

Sturdy materials that take abuse well, last forever, and can be washed in hot water to remove gym stank make these awesome bras. Not to mention the level of support they provide, no bounce for me in these suckers.

    This is much better.

This color is definitely running two sizes smaller in the band, a 32 that measures 28, craziness. Ordinarily I would be concerned with it stretching out, but given my experience with my purple/turquoise 28F, I don't think that's going to happen.

These bras are expensive, currently this color and size is available on Amazon for $12 and it's more than worth it.

    • Jj If you get a chance, would you mind looking at this one for me? I've filled out everything, but it's only coming up at 80%.

    • Meh, some strange old bug... just needs a double update. Just did it.

    • Awesome, thank you!

I bought this about 2.5 years ago. Mostly because I liked the colors, but also because when I do sprint work the bras I wear for weight lifting do not cut it.
I find the band in this still super tight. I go between a 28 and a 30 depending on comfort and this is still the tightest 28 I own, and I've been wearing it (and *machine* washing it) once a week for the 2.5 years I've owned it. So, it really lasts.
I only wear it for sprint work though, because the band is so tight it is not comfortable for long. For a sports bra that really does it's job (I'm talking 0 bounce), it's also ridiculously cute and I can wear it on it's own when it's hot.

I am a fairly even and projected breast shape. I have average-to-narrow roots with a slight omega shape. My best fitting bra is a Cleo Lily in 28GG, though I think a 30G would be more comfortable in terms of band length.

A great sports bra! I like how the back hooks are split into two sections - I feel like this gives more support over a more spread out area. The colours are nice and solid - it's fine to wear on its own. The white allows my nipples to show through a bit, so I was happy this one did not.

The Good: this bra minimizes bounce by smooshing your boobs together and against your chest wall. It may be too gross and uncomfortable for those who prefer the separation design of some other sports bra styles. For my close set boobs, it's perfect since there's no room for a high rising gore to tack. As such, there's no underwire, which I prefer and the bra still does a great job securing you when you are doing high impact cardio. There are two sets of hooks for ease of detachment when I get back from the gym feeling all mushy and uncoordinated.

The Bad: the cup design seems to cut ... in too much into the side boob. If this design were to satisfy my aesthetic requirements, there would have to be another inch and a half of fabric on each side of the "cup". I wouldn't consider myself full on top, but perhaps this design would work on shallow and narrow roots and FOB breasts. I've resorted to wearing this bra with an extender on the top hook to reduce the look of side boob. While it looks better now, I've sacrificed some support and security. I use this bra now for mid-impact workouts.

Overall: If you can overlook the side-boob, go for it. If not, explore other options if you jump a lot in your workouts.
