    Fits

This model in this size was (at least it was two weeks ago -- that bit of information seems to have disappeared now) indicated to have either a similar cut or similar measurements to one my strict recommendations (I'm guessing either the Cleo Marcie Balconnet in 34G or the Minnie, or possibly the Panache Jasmine Balconnet in 34GG). While the band does not ride up at all, leaves fairly deep indentations in my skin and occasionally squeezes my ribcage too tight, I still can easily fit a whole hand under the band. And it mostly feels okay. Then, I don't know if this part is ... important or not, but I also occasionally notice the band actually rolling up underneath the underwire in front. No idea what that means.
The cups, however, are definitely a little too big. There is always at least a little wrinkling and puckering in the top half of the cups. Sometimes it seems like adjusting the straps to fix this only exacerbates it and increases the chance of the band riding up. And then I'm not sure what kind of fit issue this indicates, but I've been noticing a lot of chafing from the top corners of the cup the past few days. I also definitely see less cup wrinkling when that's happening.
Overall, this feels like the closest thing to a bra actually fits since I started using Bratabase, and possibly the closest ever.
Update: The past week or so I've been experiencing a growing pain in my ribs just about where the band sits on my right side. It started as a stinging sensation but has progressed to a definite ache. The weird thing is there's no physical evidence of injury when I look -- no scrapes, bruises, etc. I'm working on getting new recommendations now.
If you can't find a bra in your strict recommendations at a decent price point or whatever, is it better to turn to not-strict recommendations or to the models that are said to have the same measurements or same cut as a strict recommendation?

December update: The pain subsided and has returned once or twice, but only briefly. I've gained 10-15 lbs since August, so I now entirely fill the cups and have no complaints about fit, yay! And this wasn't even a recommendation. But shortly after I realized it fits better, it went missing.

I've ordered it in 32" band simply because I used to wear 32"(70cm) bands, and it worked fine for C cups, and D, E(DD) cups with really wide band, but for this bra band was way too big. I've altered it, but it didn't help much. It improved its fit a little bit, but since elastics in this model are firm, they cut in my back. Wires are somewhat narrow. Lace is itchy, and it didn't change after washing.
Cups in this bra run one size bigger, I can fill them with my current size, but I still have wrinkles around the apex and near the straps. The upper part of the cup is bigger than the lower part, it causes quadding. This bra gives me a bit of pointy shape, which I don't like.

  3. I bought this bra because my slight increase in either size or upper fullness is beginning to show. The cups have some stretch to them in general, particularly at the upper seams of the cups, which is perfect for my needs. The band is tight for a 32, so I can fit into it even though I generally wear a 30 band. The cup width is perfectly narrow for my narrow roots. My only issue with it so far is the wire height, which only seems to be a problem because the wires are less rounded off at their ends than those of some of my other bras. ... It took about 10 hours of wear for me to even really notice it, though. The gore doesn't tack, but it doesn't seem to be a cup volume issue. However, this is still one of the most secure-feeling bras I have.

I was shocked at how nice the bra felt for its price point, particularly since neither of my other two encounters with Pour Moi (even my previous one with this bra in a different color) have been amazing as far as fabric quality. This bra is pretty darn soft and quite well constructed for such a low retail price.

The color of this bra is great! It looks just as light, bright blue as it does in its pictures online, if not more so. I love its simplicity, and the fact that it's not another bra that looks like anything else in my size range. I'm pretty uninterested in/tired of flowery lace, so its geometric lace is a big plus for me. Its only adornments other than the snazzy lace and ruching around the sides of the cups are a fuchsia ribbon that was easily snipped off.
It's definitely a full coverage bra, which would've been off-putting if the print wasn't so appealing.

The shape this bra gives seems like some kind of enigma. It gives a natural shape that's a bit pointy without a tight shirt on, but holds my boobs up so high that I can feel them surrender to gravity upon removal. It's so minimizing that it allows me to wear a button-down top (!) without safety pins (!!!) which is a game-changer for my wardrobe. It seems to have hit the sweet spot for having ample projection and band tightness to actually stay right under my boobs, which is very rare. This is a very strange, satisfactory bra.
No weird plastic smell this time, either.

Pretty pale peach color. Comfortable for the time when, just long enough to set fit.

Soft material, not sure about shape, but good support. Will wear tomorrow and see how it works.

Band is firmer than a freya or lepel 30. Has a weird plastic smell, even after 2 washes- it is fading though. Gives a nice natural but not pointy shape. Cups are true to size. I can't wear it under most of my white tops as the seams are really visible.
Under clothes it gives me a very round shape.

Very comfortable and fits surprisingly well for a full cup bra; most others cut into my boobs on top. It feels nice to be covered up and leave the, in comparison, skimpy bras every once in a while.

The lace is rather smooth so I expect it wouldn't show much under clothes. The pattern is discreet but pretty. The band has gathers at the gore and wings which improves the overall look of the bra. The colour - Mink - is nice but isn't great as an invisible colour on my pale skin. It might be okay on darker or more olive-hued women.

The cups are a decent width, but ... still a hair too wide for my very narrow boobs. The gore doesn't tack entirely but I think it would be fine if I altered it. The band is quite tight for a 32 and I can wear it on the loosest hooks even if it feels better on the middle ones.

I'll probably send this back/sell it on, but I'll re-purchase if I find a good deal on the same in the Almond colourway.

I tend to be right in between a 36 and 38 band size, so I went with a 38 for this bra because I heard the Pour Moi bands ran tight. I'll actually be exchanging it for a 36 as I can fasten the 38 on the tightest hook with no problem.

The cup shape and size is good, I think it would actually suit someone with more projection really well as I have a little bit of wrinkling at the top of the cup even after I scoop and swoop. My roots seem to be average to slightly wide and the wires on this fit really ... well, though they're slightly narrower than my Fauve and Freya bras. My favorite thing is the super thick elastic on the wing, it's not as stiff as wire or boning but does a great job at keeping my breast tissue in the cup and minimizing my east-west projection (of which I have a fair amount). Hopefully the 36F I'm exchanging for will be a better fit, band wise.

  9. This bra fit me just about perfectly, and I like the shape it gives with a shirt on. It holds my breasts up to a really great level, but still has a natural shape to it.

However, I don't know if I'll be keeping it. For starters, it feels cheap. It smells like plastic, too, which is simply odd to me. Granted, I bought it because it was so cheap, but after a life of bras with a suggested price of at least $50 Stateside, my tastes have become expensive. (I have sensitive skin, too, so take that as you will.)

Before my body has eased into it, which takes about 2 minutes, I can feel the wires touch my armpits, as though they're ever-so-slightly too high, and am very aware of the tightness of the band, which is comparable to the band of my 32G - Miss Mandalay » Paige. After two minutes, all that fades, but the bra's overall effect is still leaving me on the fence.
