I have shallow and wide boobs, and while this is an ~ok fit, I have tried on enough different styles to know this one is not worth keeping.

Pros: The band is quite firm for a 30. Most of the time, I have to wear 30s on the tightest hook when new - this one would fit someone who measures for a 28. Also, it is very pretty as a potential t-shirt bra, as it is smooth under clothes (though the yellow is more canary/mustard than I expected from the Nordstrom photo, which made it look more chartreuse).

The main reason I will not be keeping it is because the countoured cups slightly cut into my breast tissue, giving minor quad-boob. This is evident when the mesh/lace is pulled down. I am not terribly surprised, given that it's a moulded one-piece cup, and with my very shallow shape, I do best with cups that have 2 vertical seams.

This is the best fitting bra I've tried to date. I have it in three colors (nude, black, light pink) and I definitely will be getting more. I have shallow, wide-rooted breasts with fairly even distribution (some say I may be slightly full on top). I am glad that the band on this runs a little firm. My underbust is 28" snug and 27.5" tight; I haven't found a 28 band that wasn't painful for me so a firmer 30 band is favorable for me. I also have a rather bony sternum, so I really do enjoy the lower gore on this one.

I'm ... not sure if this bra runs small in the cup, as my overbust measures 34.5 inches. I also tried this bra in a 30D, which resulted in quadboobing (which wasn't noticeable until I moved the mesh overlay out of the way) and band distortion. The 30DD gives me none of those issues while still remaining supportive, comfortable, and pretty.

If I were to nitpick about something, I feel like the triangular overlay comes up higher than it was designed to. I think this has more to do with my build (petite, long torso, high set breasts) and not the bra itself. The pics I've added show some wrinkling of the cup. That's only the mesh overlay and I was able to pull it up to get rid of the wrinkle. Overall, I really like how this bra fits me!

This bra is a plunge style and not made for wide set shallow breasts. I bought it because it came in my band size of 30. Cups run small. I sized up to DD. still get side boob. I trued the DDD but experienced gaping at top of cup.

I like the fit except I do wish it had more support/coverage in the center. I really love that the band is quite firm as I am sizing up into a 30, instead of a preferred 28.

The best fitting bra I've found yet. I am a shallow, wide rooted 28e/30dd. The 30dd is a great fit. It's pretty tight new, but a couple weeks with a bra extender makes it comfortable enough.

March 2022: wore this btw to death and threw it away! A first and a testament to how much I loved it

Although I have a shallow shape, I'm not shallow enough for this bra. I have too much projection or fullness on the bottom near the wires for this bra to fit me properly.

So, these bras are 100% made for people with shallow projection. Im usually either a 30D or 30DD based on brand, and while the D squishes my boobs and gets super uncomfortable, the DD is only moderately better in that sense and gapes at the top as well. Bruised my sternum too unless I bent the wires outward.

Wore them regularly for a good while before I grew more tho, and they lasted me literal years of use before even getting to the third hook. So if they fit and you stay the same size, they'll last.

Overall I can't recommend them to anyone with my size and shape, but they're probably OK for anyone shallower.

In my experience, Natori makes really comfortable bras for smaller cup sizes, but the bras lack in support and shaping. Every Natori bra I've tried has a very stretchy band, cups that run on the shallow side, and give a very "natural" shape. This makes it a great option for those who prioritize comfort, but you'll have to sacrifice the support you get from a truly well-fitting bra.

The Feathers Contour Plunge is a popular style that for some reason never appealed to me before, but I noticed a friend wearing this as a maternity bra and thought maybe it would be a good comfort option for ... me as it's truly lightly lined. I haven't had success with unlined Natori bras so far since their stretch lace is so overly stretchy they provide no support, and I don't really like molded cups, so I was intrigued.

I started with a 30D and found that the cups are too shallow for me, flattening me out entirely. The 30DD is a better depth for me, but there's too much empty space in the upper cup, and the sides of the cup by the armpit come up too high on me. The empty portion of the cup is very visible when I move, and I can see the foam lining collapse on itself. In addition, while the band measures small, it is definitely very stretchy as the wings are made of stretch lace, and I feel it provides very little support.

On the positive side, I do find this bra extremely comfortable, and I would definitely like to wear a style like this while traveling. It sits nicely under clothing, and the true deep plunge makes it perfect under tops where my balconnettes don't work.

I would recommend this bra for small cup sizes that are wide and shallow, for people who don't need much support and would be fine with a flimsy band. Due to the plunge cut, it should work for different root shapes. I would not recommend this for breasts that need a lot of lifting or are extremely wide set and east-west, as the plunge cut could make you look really empty in the middle.

I was excited to get this bra. I found a boutique which is probably the only one like it in San Antonio. I'd been wanting it for so long but wasn't ready to spend the money til I found my perfect size. Then I ended up overpaying but I am happy to support local business. I was a little disappointed after wearing it a few times. I don't fill the bottom of the cups to well so there is some wrinkling. The band is quite tight. Maybe something I need to get used to after wearing the wrong size my whole life. The fabric near my armpit digs and chaffs when I reach over one arm to the other. It's not as comfy ad I expected. Otherwise it looks good and works. I probably won't buy another Natori bra though. Which sucks because I wanted to support this brand so dearly after learning about its history.

This bra model felt right, though not perfect, even in the incorrect sizes, so I knew I would eventually narrow it down to the right size. This just works for my small, shallow, widely spaced, wide roots shape. It is a good every day bra though the lace is not invisible under thin fabrics such as silk or fine gauge knits.
