    Fits

    Ok, so I bought this bra because I wanted the bottoms, but fortunately it turned out to be one of my best fitting bras ever. It's basically the Superboost Lace, and it fits similarly. There aren't many reviews of it here, so if you're interested in any details, I made a lenghty blog post with too many pictures of the bra, the pants and me.     Also, there is a tiny poll in the left sidebar on my blog. I got lots of new bras recently and won't ... be able to make a full review of all of them, so if you're interested in any particular thing on this list, just vote for one, two, three or all of them. But if you won't, that's OK, I will choose them randomly, no pressure. The sidebar is collapsible (which is a bit annoying, but making it expanded by default could cause some issues on mobile devices), and I'm not sure how many people actually see it, and that's why I'm writing about it here.

      finallygotboobs Oooh, thank you. I don't know what it looks like for other people, but I felt sooo awkward while taking these pictures. I should have add the one in which I am imitating an arc :D
      I suppose there is an sidebar expanding button on the left on the mobile devices. This responsive template is a total mess. I wish I wouldn't let the modern layout tempt me, now I've made so many modifications to the code that I'm afraid to change anything.

      learningaboutbras So maybe it's not an English word :D My language skills are terrible, I can't write a single word and be sure everyone understands me. But it's on the left, there is a button on top of the page (I think so) expanding this sidebar. I was right, no one sees it. It is always collapsed on mobile devices and on the computers with lower resolution. I decided to leave these settings as many people view the blog on their phones and it prevents the site from loading too long, but now I see it wasn't good idea at all. I have higher resolution set on my computer than is the standard, and this sidebar is always visible to me, but it looks like I'm the only one. I'm getting more and more frustrated with this template :|

    • And I ALWAYS click "add comment" too quickly and leave some stupid errors in my comments :|

    • WelshCorgiPembroke re poll: found it. On the linked page I first clicked the arrow in the top left corner. That took me to a page showing a listing of your recent posts. In the upper left corner is the menu icon (horizontal lines in the shape of a square). Clicked on that and the drop down showed the poll.

    Fits

    For reference, I am petite (5'1"), wide-set, with lots of tissue in the armpit area, and shallow.

    The Gypsy 30D has removable inserts but the 30DD does not. I don't know why bra manufacturers have decided that if you wear a DD, you don't need removable inserts anymore. *eyeroll*

    What I noticed about the 30DD (I own a 30D in another color) is that the wings come up much higher into my armpits. The wires are an ok length and there's no digging, but there's some extra fabric that gets itchy and uncomfortable if I wear this all day. If I were to guess, manufacturers of bras also assume that a larger bra size is worn by a taller person. It seems to be an ongoing theme with any of these "high apex" style plunges, regardless of the manufacturer.

    Hasn't set fit

    Much to my dismay, my Gypsy 30D had removable inserts but the 30DD does not. Apparently I didn't get the memo that when you're a DD, you don't need removable inserts anymore. *eyeroll* The lack of padding in the 30DD makes me look a lot pointier than the 30D did.

    The cup coverage and wire length on the 30DD is MUCH better than the 30D (no armpit spillage); this is an improvement. What I noticed about the 30DD (same for the other Gossard styles) is that the straps are much wider than the 30D. The straps are too wide for my shoulders and keep twisting. It seems like the manufacturers of bras seem to think that larger bra size equals more height. I'm 5'1" and did not have this issue with the 30D but it is an issue with the 30DD.

    Didn't fit

    I'm not sure if this is perception or reality, but the wires on the Gypsy bra feel shorter than the Superboost bra. I find that I have more armpit tissue spillage with Gypsy than Superboost and that the wires don't have as much underarm coverage or reach. I'm pleasantly surprised by how much of a lift I get from this bra. I think the plunge style in general is suitable for my figure and shape since I have such wide roots, trend more towards shallow, and my fullness is even (or maybe slightly more on bottom, but not by very much). I am going to size up to a 30DD and see if the wires are any better.

    Love this - again, not surprised, 'cause I love Gossard. I think I need to go down to a 32FF though because I have space under the lace part of the top of the cups.

    Didn't fit

    This bra was a complete shape mismatch on me but it's super pretty. I think it would be great for shallow breasts or breasts with tall roots. Despite not fitting me right at all it was overall very comfortable and it's lined so there isn't any scratchy fabric against your skin.
