This is one of my favorite bras. It is true to size compared with most other seamed Fantasie bras. The bra is comfortable, supportive and give a nice uplifted natural shape. It is not pointy, but neither is it the very rounded shape that some prefer. The center gore is narrow and low, so it doesn't dig into my very close together breasts. The sides come up high enough to help hold all of the breast tissue on my wide breasts and bring it forward, but not so high as to be uncomfortable on my small frame (5'2"). It also does a great ... job at controlling my jiggly breasts which can be a problem with balcony bras. While it is a plunge bra it does not create a lot of cleavage (life a Freya Deco for example), which is fine for me, but others might expect a plunge bra to create a lot of cleavage. The bra looks beautiful and is sexy in a sophisticated way.
Update: The band on this bra stretched very quickly (faster than most of my freya bras) and I was soon wearing it on the tightest hook. I wear my bras once or twice a week and wash them by hand, so it was not due to normal wear. Also, as the day goes on, my heavy breasts would push down on the bra and would make the bra sit lower than it should be while also making my breasts seem less supported. Since trying on Panache and Cleo bras, I have definitely noticed that Fantasie bands are much larger and stretchier.

Yet another incredibly comfy bra that just doesn't fit. This feels a lot softer than the previous unlined bras I tried, but I can't quite fill it out on the top. Which is quite sad, because the band feels solid and not scratchy https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

This is a beautiful, beautiful bra. The red and gold combination is stunning and the lace design is not overwhelmingly 'lacey', more like embroidery. Somehow, the ensemble reminds me of French tapestries...or turn of the century nhand painted wallpaper... Because it is so beautiful, I've kept it in my drawer for too long thinking I could somehow alter the cups to fit, but actually someone should have this bra to wear and treasure. It may be on the generous side of G, since it is unlined. Typical of all Fantasie creations, the construction is excellent and the finishing details are well done. The band is a little ... forgiving, the cups are deep at the bottom and apex, and the side support panels corral any outer fullness to bring it all in and up. Its called a plunge but I think its more a hybrid because the gore is not too low; there's enough support and coverage in the center so nothing falls out. The cups do come up a little taller than my other balconies, though. The profile (on me, bearing in mind it is too big) is more of a natural, uplifted green shape. The straps are partly adjustable and firm. The material is smooth and soft, even the lace top part. I don't think it would show under clothes. Such a beautiful confection under those clothes though!

Fits very similar to Freya unlined plunges, but more forgiving, I think. I'm not shallow, but I tend to find Freya plunges too deep for me, because the tight upper edge gives me some orange-in-a-glass because I have tall roots. I don't have the same problem with this bra, for some reason.

The gore is too wide, but it's shortness means it's more out of the way than in other bras, so its width is less problematic than it should be. The cups are too tall for me, so I get some discomfort around my tail of spence.

Gives a very projected shape, which I like, but a little pointier than I sometimes prefer.

This is such a pretty bra, but it's the wrong shape for me. Even it the cups were large enough, I'm pretty sure I'd get "orange in a glass" because there's insufficient immediate projection at the bottom and quadraboob because it's too tight across the top.
The fit is pretty similar to the Elodie (which also didn't work for me).

This bra is so lovely. I love the white and silver--it just looks so elegant and gorgeous. The straps are surprisingly comfortable, perhaps because they're just a smidge wider than some of my others. The material feels strong but pliable, comfortable. This is a seriously comfortable bra. I have very sensitive skin which has caused problems with bra material (especially around the band) before, but this is totally fine.

That said, it's a 30F and my boobs grew before it arrived in the mail. So I've never been able to wear it because it's too small. Sad day.

The only downside to this bra is that the band is pretty stretchy.

Have tried Fantasie plunge without side support too --the plunge on this one with side support works better (probably because of the cup construction though). Straps are still a smidge too wide and one keeps slipping. I know that if I tighten it too much it will dig in so I have to find the sweet spot of slipping just a little, digging just a little. Looking at photos and red marks on my skin after wearing it all day, I'd say the wires are too wide and the cup is a smidge too large! Weird.

However, I find my 3 year old Fantasie bra bands to be still ... tight on the first hook and this one gives me the same tightness on the middle hook.

I do like that the gore is lower but not so low I spill out (as I have soft tissue). And it's red. I've always preferred skin-tone bras as multi-purpose but now I like the idea of wearing red with a red top. If it shows, it's not as obvious.

Cups are deep and projected. I feel uplifted without having boobs in my chin. The wires are shorter than the channel.

Very lovely bra, I really like the look of it but the shape is not right for me. Would be better for someone who is more full-on-bottom; I need more room in the top of the cup. The gore is too wide for me and the wires sit on breast tissue, especially on the left side.

Not a match for me. I'm not FOT enough to fill out the upper section of the cups. The wires are too wide toward the bottom, and also too short, allowing the fabric at the outside top of the cups and wings to flare outward from my body. The gore height is also not compatible with my close-set breasts.

This bra has many good features. One of the best is the shoulder straps, which are nice and long, soft, and textured so that the sliders don't slip. I love them. The band is reasonably firm, and the wire channels are covered with soft material. Fantasie bras tend to be beautifully made and pretty in a classic (maybe a little mature?) way, and the Vivienne is no exception. The lace seems comfortable and is smooth under clothes, and if it's anything like my Elodie, it'll soften even more with continued washing.

But I don't think it's going to work. I want to like this bra, but I fear that ... it's another case of the wrong shape for my body. The gore is reasonably tall and separate for a plunge, probably on the taller edge of what will work on my close-set boobs and might start to dig in by the end of the day. If you need a very plunge-y kind of plunge, Vivienne probably won't be right for you. Bigger problems for me are that while the bottoms of the cups fit reasonably well, there's quite a bit of room along the top, and the wires aren't quite wide enough or tall enough (the wires are about half an inch shorter than the top edge of the wing).

Clearly going up a cup size for wire width doesn't make sense. I'm tempted to try the 36DD to try and see if that would improve the fit overall, but I have a feeling the wires are going to feel even more narrow then. Maybe someday?
