This bra is great. Seriously great I love it so much. There's just one thing that bugs me but we'll get into that. This bra was from Ebay, and someone (sorry, forgot) posted the link here. I am forever grateful because this is my new favourite bra. It is second hand, but according to the seller only worn once or twice. The band actually stretches to 30 inches which is nice. It's pretty narrow near the hooks and eyes. The straps are plush and only half adjustable but are comfortable, not too wide set and don't need to be shortened for now. The bra itself is adorable. I love ... all the bows. The colour is great too. The wires are a good width and length and seem to be narrow enough for me. The gore is a decent height and tacks firmly but not painfully. I love the 3 part cup and the shape I get from it. It's very open on top and fits nicely. My biggest issue with this bra is the quality. For the most part, it's great quality. However, there are two spots in the band (probably in the same space on either size) where the stitching has come undone. It's about an inch on either side and I'm not sure the best way of fixing this. I'll probably very carefully try to replicate the zigzag stitching. I just really love the bra and I hope this doesn't impact the amount of times I can wear it. I'll post pictures of it and maybe y'all can help me decide if I should bring it to my tailor (have to go anyway) or whether I should try and fix it myself. Overall, I LOVE this bra and that's the only issue I have with it. My bigger problem now is that I want all the CHP's!

OH I have this exact bra! Simply in another size (unfortunately I need cookies for it even though it doesn't have a pocket for them lol oh well). It's such a great color (as well as burgundy I am obsessed with grey so you totally got my favorite color palette) and it gives such a perfect cakes-on-a-platter look! My only qualm is that the straps are so far apart. But it looks like it fits you super well and I also want all the CHPs :'( I've had a similar problem with stitching on a Comexim but I didn't end up keeping it, so I never got around to properly fixing it. Hopefully a more adept seamstress can give you some input for that!

    • I think I should take it to my tailor first. I don't want to butcher it. I want all my future bras from Ewa to be this shape. Sadly my next one coming is an S shape but that'll work fine. I have my eyes on the Opium but my wallet is screaming no. If she ever came out with a bra that was both grey and burgundy I'd buy it so fast my wallet wouldn't know what hit it.

    • 2

What a lovely bra. I love this colourway. It really looks to fit you so well giving your breasts a lovely natural shape. It is so fustrating to have a bra that looks good and feels so comfy on only to have it loose its shape or fall apart.I am sure a tailer would be able to make it like new. good luck

    • That is probably what I would do, too, just considering that the bra itself is worth a pretty penny. I'm really curious to see how the S shape fits you - the only experience with EM I've ever had is with the CHP (literally this one). Since our boobs seem to be doing the same exact thing in this bra, I wonder if the S will fit you like it would hypothetically fit me? Hmmm....
(Also oh gosh I am a sucker for burgundy but especially grey - so hard to find! Designers for bra companies, if you're reading this, please oh please I need more grey and we all do <3)

    • I squeeze myself into the S honestly. I prefer the look with the pads best, but then that makes the bra a little too small. The next size up is too big, even with the pads. So not an ideal situation but at least it looks better than it sounds. I love how open the CHP is.
Scott Thanks! It is frustrating when bras don't hold up as well as you'd like, especially when one is supposed to be almost new.

Your seamstress or you can definitely and easily fix the stitches . Caused by either poor workmanship or being worn so tight it popped the stitches . As it is on both sides I am going to guess it was way to small for the prior owner and hopefully they disclosed the broken stitches in the ad as a full time eBay seller of clothing myself it's sad to hear when people are disappointed with items they get . Gives us all a bad reputation of course I just got a unwashed dirty bra off eBay and not happy about that .
So take your bra and color match the thread , starting a bit before the missing part do your zigzag stitch (practice before on a scrap to get the width set ) and continue on just past where the stitches begin again . I think you can certainly do it yourself in just a few minutes on your machine remember that you can go slow your not cutting anything and if you don't like it you can get out the seam ripper and unsew and try again . Good luck .

    • Ivp Thanks for the advice. I'd have to do it by hand because my machine is at home so I'll see what my tailor has to say. She's used to me bringing her some odd things by now.

    • 1

Then definitely take it to the tailor it will be an easy fix for her and if you are having to go that route might as well have her just redo the whole stitching along the length that has come undone , a 3 step zig zag is the strongest for knits used in active wear if you wanted to mention could you use a stronger zigzag like a 3 step to replace . Your going to be so happy with your find after the fix . I think all my sewing lately has been bra fix and alterations on my finds . Fyi while you are chatting with her ask if she is open to other alteration on bras like taking in the band at the clasp it's pretty easy and makes those bras that come with too big bands wearable .

    • 1

Ivp I'll bring that up next time I stop in. I took the bra to her and she said that it was an easy fix. I'm not too concerned about the band being under too much strain when it gets fixed because it's pretty true to size and there fore is just a smidge big on me.

Frankly, this is a little bit too big for me. A little too high on the side, the cups are a little tall. I don't quite fill out the top on most days. However, this is a great bra for me for a few days a month when my 65Es are feeling a little too small. I fill out the cups nicely at that point and no gaping for me.

All that aside, the shape is still really nice. Up front, lifted, and round. Even when it's not quite a great fit it still gives a lovely appearance.

The band is nice and snug. Very comfortable right now on ... the loosest of three eyes.
The straps are only half-adjustable :/. But, the front of them are not very stretchy and they don't really dig into me, so I do appreciate that. They're nice and thick and the sliders stay in place well.
The wires are a bit high on the side, but they stay in place and they don't poke anything, so I find them comfortable.

The color is a great shade of gray. The pictures online really don't convey the hue very well, it always looks more purple or blue than it is. Those undertones are certainly present, but in reality it is absolutely unmistakably gray. And gray is beautiful.

The underwear are a 36. Nice and soft, they're a comfortable rise and don't migrate when wearing. They're slightly stretchier than the bra band, but they hold their shape well. They're not line-less, so skirts and dresses only.

I just want to say - I am so envious! I have wanted a plain grey bra for so long (lcl0706 knows what I'm talking about hehe). Where did you come upon it? :o It is gorgeous!

    • how thick is the padding on the chp?

    • Not any thicker than a Comexim plunge or half cup, or if so just a little tiny bit thicker. Nothing like the Deco's boob armor.

kerniss yessss, I want a gray bra so much. I loooove this bra. jlcl119 if you ever decide it's just too big, you know where to send it!! ;-)

    • kerniss It was part of an ebay lot a month or so ago. It was the only bra I had to buy four others to get it!
I was thinking about buying a Comexim Snow and dying that gray, I bet that would look really n ice, especially if some of the stitching stays white.

newhere The CHP is about the same as Comexim. More lined than padded, really. The newer CH/CHPs have pockets for asymmetry correcting pads that give excellent Oomph if you want it.

lcl0706 You know it's yours if it ever needs a new home :)

I had a slightly similar problem with this one as I did with my HP Kobalt. In my 75H bras from Ewa, I would get a tiny amount of quadraboob during the day and I had to fasten the band on the tightest hooks from the beginning. I thought I'd try one band size down and one cup size larger from what I originally had hoping it would fit, but that was definitely the wrong choice.

In this one, it wasn't quite as bad as the HP Kobalt. I still get a small amount of gaping near the center gore. It isn't much at all though and is invisible ... under clothes. However, my smaller breast has a bit more noticeable gaping at the top. I am tempted to try using a pad at the bottom to see if it evens things out. I think, though, that I could be one cup smaller in this bra. The underwires are also a bit long for me and come nearly right up to the top of my armpit. Not too comfortable sadly.

As for the bra itself, the gray fabric is lovely! Perfectly soft and I love the color! I think I will try sizing down in the cup and see how that works. This bra is too amazing to pass up! The shape it gives me is also pretty phenomenal. This is the first CHP style I have tried from Ewa, and I think it is actually my favorite above the HP style. It offers the coverage and slightly less projection of the HP with the lift of the CP. Once I find my size, I think I am going to need all the colors!

    • Hey, did you have this one for sale at one point? I thought I saw it...

    • I did it, but I am afraid it has found a new home. I might have a CHP Mak in the same size though. I ordered it before I found out this one was too big for me.

Love the grey colour of it, and even if its CHP without extra pads, it can lovely covers my assymetry (usually I use 1 pad). Bra has lovely and soft band - fits perfect with no extender. Im getting small quadboobs, although theyre not too big and I can accept them comparing to some other bras, as this one gives me lovely shape
I am going to keep it for now, but if someone would have 70E/65F i would consider swap! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

It's a nice bra. It lokks perhaps a little bit like a bikini top. I like the color which is listed as silver grey but looks a little like dusty lilac to me. The band feels true to size.

The cups however are too big or my boobs are to soft and just lay floating at the bottom. I chose the CHP to get a little more coverage than my CH Toffik gives but the result was gaping at the top. A lot if I move my shoulders just a tiny bit forward. I'm still wondering if it's the cut or the size thats the problem. I have the Toffik in FF and it's definitely too small in the cups.

The straps are halfway adjusteable which fits me fine and I like the three rows of hooks for a change (not many of my bras have that).

  6. What a lovely bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I can't believe I have my first bra that fits!!
The Chp style is very wide, I think it's almost too wide for me (as izzylawliet predicted), but it feels comfortable, and I really like the fit. If I get the opportunity, I will definitely go for CH styles next time.

The shape I'm getting is pretty forward and rounded. You would think that such wide cups would give flat shapes, but nope! It's pretty averagely projected. I also love the seams. The vertical seams work well with lifting ... my breasts, but they don't show through your average T shirt. I feel like the top of this cup (even though it's elasticated) is quite open, which gives me a teeny gap on my smaller boob when I move around.

The band runs a little tight, stretching only to 25 inches for a 26 band. It feels snug, but I will probably get 24 bands from Ewa from now on (excluding black and lace) for my 23/24 inch ribcage and use an extender at first.

I am so ecstatic for you! I'm glad you've finally got a bra that fits. I'm insanely jealous that the gore on your cup is so much shorter than on my own, but I guess that's to be expected.

    • Thanks izzy :)! I think 2 inches is quite tall for a gore (for me) , anything above 1.7 is generally uncomfortable, but they're placed so close together, I don't really feel anything poking or pinching :D

    • I am so jealous. I have a PL and that gore is barely under three inches, I think it was. My 28K CH is FIVE inches!

    • 5 wow!! Does it hurt?? I think I would have died from a 5 inch gore by now :C

    • That one actually does. I constantly have to bend it outwards. I do better with a 4 which is what my 28JJ CH has. One size and it's one whole inch.

My first bra of the popular Chp style. Great depth and projection at the wire, which provides a very up-front, rounded look with great cleavage--or at least, someone would have great cleaveage if the bra fit them better, it was a bit too large on me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />. I lvoe the grey color and simple, classy lines of this bra.

I love love LOVE grey and want a million grey bras. This is such a great one. Unfortunately, it is not a good fit without "cookie" inserts, and this bra technically doesn't have the "pockets" for them so I just shove the cookies in and they pretty much stay until my bra-wearing day is over. It's unfortunate that this bra is not being made anymore, because it's an excellent shape for even/FOT/narrow/projected ladies.

I am so grateful to have come across this bra! It is a much simpler EM style, with three-part vertically-lined cups, subtle piping across the top of the cups, smooth, unadorned straps and two small, flat rosette bows on the center gore. It's made of gorgeous silver-grey knitwear which has the slightest satiny sheen and feels super soft against the skin. It's a very unusual color to find in a bra, and it makes for an interesting neutral option also.

Being an older CHP model from 2012, it differs from EM's newer models in that it doesn't have the optional asymmetry pads, which is just fine by me because ... the cups, being very open on top, encapsulate my boobs perfectly without, uplifting them into a perfectly round shape without any gaping or overflow. Just for reference, however, I've included one picture without pads (taken from another CHP in the same size) and one with. As compared to my other CHPs, this one gives a more compact look that's held closer to the chest. I usually love super feminine, frillier bras with lots of details, but this is a nice departure and a very practical basic option for times when something smooth and seamless is needed; however much I love my Polish padded bras, most of them show some trace of seams beneath thin, fitted shirts, so it's awesome to find one that doesn't!

The straps are only half adjustable, which I don't love, but thankfully I don't need to adjust them very much. The band firmness, gore and cup height are all pretty identical fit-wise to the newer CHP models.

This bra fits quite well on my smaller boob. I wear it with an extender as I needed whatever bra I can get because I grew out of my old ones and couldn't afford a new one.
I also used this bra to figure out what size I would now need with Ewa Michalak should I order a new bra and I'll probably go for a 65JJ or a 60K next time, depending on the stretch of the band.
Beatiful material, fits very comfortably, and the wire width is perfect.
