This bra took way too long to get to me, and as it turns out, the seller lived just a city over from where I normally reside! I probably would have gotten it last Monday if I wasn't at school. This bra isn't my favourite aesthetics wise-I would like it better without the lace. However, it's a CHP, cheap, and my size. At first I thought this bra felt cheap because of the materials on the cups and the thinness of the foam but the more I touch the fabric it feels more silky than slippery and the thinner foam still gives the same great support the Stalowka ... does with its heavy duty foam. Aside from the lace, this bra can do no wrong. The shape, to quote Josh from Drake and Josh is "spherical. SPHERICAL!" That was literally the first thing I thought of when I put it on. The straps are nice and plush, although others might think they're too wide-they are. Wires follow my root as perfectly as I'll get and don't harass my armpits and they touch at the very top.. The coverage is nice and low, providing me with some absolutely lovely cleavage. The band is firm: this is one thing I noticed that has remained constant in both my CHPs. Size up a band if you're closer to a true 30 than a 29 or 28. I'm going to wear this with an extender until I break it in. There are pockets for pads, but the seller didn't include any which is fine because the cups would have been too small. Another small gripe is the bow at the front is a little wonky and sometimes pokes up out of my lower cut shirt. I also figured out that those bulges are probably my tail of Spence and they don't really belong in the cup, not that they stay when I scoop them in. All in all a great bra at a great price, and unless someone has a CHP in a 65FF for trade and covets this one, I'll keep it.

it fits great! I think that the EM are really your best fitting bras!

    • 1

I think so too. Shame about the issues with customer service so if I can (ie if she has the style I want), I'm choosing to go through Jaime at Bra Obsessed. I have no problem ordering directly from EM's site but why take a risk of having to deal with a prickly pear when I could help support a small, woman owned business.

      Beautiful fit on you!

    • 1

Thanks LadyInBlue ! I'm so glad to finally figure out what works for me.

    • 3

That bra looks amazing on you, it fits really well! I love the colour and design on it.

    • 1

Oh I so badly wish the seller would have sent the one I bought in 65GG! It looks so summer-y!

    • 1

DDandBeyond It is! And the way it was created it has lighter/thinner foam so I doubt it will feel as unbearable in warmer weather as some of my thicker padded EMs do.

So happy I finally got my hands on (er, boobs in) this long sought after bra. Discontinued before my ABTF time, I *had* to have this one. It's so unique, I own nothing else red, I tracked one down and finally the time was right and my boobs are happy! Typical EM CHP fit, narrow with good bottom depth & center projection. This one feels like it runs small in both band and cup, even if the cup measurement disagrees with me, but the fit is good so whatever! Slightly too tall on righty, but that's not unusual. Band fits like a 28 (yay!), cups fit more like a 65 F.5. Full review on the blog.

I love this bra! It's so comfy! I think it runs a smidge small in the cups and band too. I need an extender.

    • I love the small band! Makes me happy it's a band I don't have to alter lol!

    • I was happy too, means I'll have more time to wear it! I like the addition of the lace on the sides instead of the cups because it means that the bra is pretty much seamless under thin cheap t-shirts.

    • Beautiful! :)

    • 1

This sounds like the one I bought and resold in 65FF! She actually agreed that it was smaller and said I could return, but then I just sold it on instead. I was so gutted because it's so pretty!

    • Maybe it was yours! If so, thanks lol! I'm happy I've now managed to track down pretty much every discontinued bra I really wanted to own :)

I think I am a convert to Ewa Michalak. The craftsmanship is beautiful, I love the fabric, and best of all the fit of this bra is light years better than anything else I have owned since arriving at this current size and shape. I know they have a reputation for having tight bands, but this one started out only firm and has loosened up a bit in the two weeks since I bought it. It gives me a gorgeous rounded shape and the padding is not excessive. It is such a relief to have my soft tissue contained! I don't mean to quibble, but only a couple ... of small factors keep it from being a perfect fit: one, the wire will not stay in my IMF on the inner half of each breast (no trouble with movement at the outside edge it seems. I can push it up with minimal quadding if any on my bigger side, but there is no way to keep it there. Also, the straps seem to be taking too much weight and are digging in. I can't imagine going a band size down, though.

    Didn't fit

I always wanted this bra for couple of reasons:
First of all its Ewa Michalak CHP style
Secondly, it came in my size so I gave it a go
Thirdly, I have Slavic (Slowianski) look - it means I have fairly light hair, blue eyes and pale skin, so the name Slowianki refers to how people are differentiated in different parts of Poland. Many times ive heard how lucky I am to have this look, but I am only happy about my trully blue eyes, while my skin is so pale that I get sunburn after 2hours of exposing my skin to the sun and to match foundation for my face ... is a huge challenge.. but anyway, this bra was on my wish list and finally I got it.
This bra was previously used but its still in pretty great condition. Obviously little signs of use are present but nothing major that would cause bad fit.
I must admit, the bra is extremly comfortable! More than my Owoce Lesne or Stalowka. The wires are little softer. The cup width its tiny bit too wide for me, but didnt cause much empty space - nothing that couldnt be an issue
The cup depth.. well this bra is similar in measurement to Owoce lesne and bigger than Stalowka, however I feel like its size too small on.. (stalowka is little to small currently but its just fitting differently). I get major quadboob on my bigger side and small on smaller side - with pads its really bad but the shape from the front is extreme https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
The band is trully size 70 - feels great on my 72cm undebust. Its not as snug as it was brand new but still great!
The strap placement is definietly better than in my Owoce lesne (that I had to move in the straps coz was unwearable). Straps are fully adjustable

Absolutely adore this bra, and I am a huge fan of the CHP cut. Unfortunately, this one is too shallow in the cups for me. I love the print, colors, the lace at the wings. I have ordered this in my size, so this one doesn't hurt quite so bad to have to let go lol

Wow that is one gorgeous bra! I hope the next size you try works out better fitwise for you. It's such a unique floral!

PetiteCollegiate , I really love the print! I was able to buy my size, and I love it even more now. lol I do need to take the cookies out though, or I get a bit of quadding, but other than that, it is perfect :)

Beautiful bra vibrant colors. Band runs small and firm more like a 31 but has a little give. Cups were way too small depth wise so I got quadboob pretty bad. Cup width was a tiny bit small gore is just right narrow and low enough for me and I am pretty close set. I ordered a 65f and my fit problems are solved.

Appearance-wise this is one of my favourite bras - the red is such a gorgeous, summery shade. It has pretty red lace detail at the sides and bottom of the band, and the straps are all red in comparison to the stripy red/white straps on the plunge style. The bra looks more vibrant in real life than it does on the website.

The band runs rather tight (as it does in the plunge version) so it's worth sizing up in this style. The straps are also quite widely-spaced, even as someone who rarely has problems with wide-set straps; because of this I tend to wear the straps angled slightly ... inward, which creates a very slight gap at the top of the cups. Perfectly wearable for me, but I'd imagine this could be a problem for people with narrower shoulders. Aside from that I really like the CHP style and the shape it gives - round and uplifted with a decent amount of cleavage. While the cups are technically too wide for me, for some reason that bothers me less in this style than it does in the plunges, perhaps due to the shape and/or flexibility of the wires. This style also comes with fairly thin removable pads, which is nice for a subtle boost! It's sometimes advised to size down a cup in the CHP in comparison with the PL and 3D styles, but I wear the same size in all three; I didn't get quadboob in the 65D as its so open on top but it was much less supportive.

  8. The colors of this bra really, really pop against my pale skin. Pics don't do it justice! I'd say this runs true to size compared to the other CHP models I have, if not a little tight and small. I have to take out the 'cookie' on my larger side, or otherwise I would spill over. I personally found the band to be quite tight, bordering more on a 32. The shape it provides is phenomenal -- perfectly spherical and perky. The strap placement is fine for me, but I'm 5'10" with a long torso, so my experience likely varies from those more petite. My largest issue with ... this is that the straps, while fully adjustable, aren't long enough. I have to have them at their loosest, and even then it's borderline too tight. It doesn't stop me from wearing the bra, but I do wish the straps had a bit more stretch.

I also have the matching brief, and I'd say those run a bit small compared to others. I think they're meant for slightly less coverage, but I would probably be most comfortable in a size up. Also of note, it's vital, when washing this, that you hand-wash it separate from other clothes or bras, because other colors can and will bleed on the white part of the bra, so it won't pop as much.

  9. CHP Słowianki was a little too small at first, giving me quadboob when I wore it. As Ewa Halfcups of that size usually fit me fine (if not slightly too large), I wondered why Słowianki was so different.

Then it occurred to me - none of my older Ewa halfcups had pockets for push-up pads sewn in.
So since I didn't need the pads anyway, I grabbed some scissors removed the pockets carefully. Turns out as a success!
Even though I was not using the pads at any point, the pockets were still sitting at the bottom of the cups, reinforcing the lower part of the cup, thus making the bottom ... of the cups shallower by creating some weird push-up effect on my lower boob tissue. (Seen from the side, the bottom of the cups was slightly boxy, not as rounded as you'd expect.) Removing the pockets gave me more immediate depth at the bottom of the cups for the boob tissue to settle in, and my quadboob problem is solved.

It was quite surprising to see that these pockets - even with no pads in - have such an influence on cup volume and bra fit.

This bra is so much fun, the fabric is vibrant and reminds me of spring or summer. The CHP cut is amazing giving the most uplifted round look with great cleavage, it's by far my favorite Ewa Michalak style. The band is very firm and ran small in my opinion, I wore is with an extender.
