    Fits

This bra was an impulse purchase. I bought a 60FF in an older CHP cut from Sonya to try out and found it a little too small. I wasn't sure if a 60G would be too big, but it seems like it is a perfect fit. I ordered this bra from Jamie at Bra - Obsessed and it arrived in 2 days. I highly recommend ordering from her if you are in Canada.

This bra is complete perfection. It fits like a glove. The colourway is so not my usual style - I tend to avoid bright colours and patterns - but I love it. The colours ... are so vibrant in person, it is like spring in a bra. The CHP cut is favourite EM cut, I have no problems with the cup depth and fill the bottom perfectly. The wire width is exactly perfect. With the cookies in, the cleavage this bra gives is borderline scandalous and husband approved. Aside from the incredibly wide straps, this bra fits gloriously. This is a mark in the win column.

    • Looks like a great fit!

    • Yay for the great fit! It looks awesome!!

    • 1

Sonya thanks! I am so happy that you introduced me to the CHP cut. I may be addicted.

    • I’m so in love with CHP Opium. I have the same thoughts about it as you. It’s so beautiful and so out of my normal comfort zone. I’ve been on the fence about what size to try, but I should be getting a 65FF to try along with a 30G Comexim plunge soon. So I will see. This looks beautiful! Does it feel a bit small still?

    • rachaelll Sonya For looks CHP is my fave too, so far :)

    Fits

My shape is short and narrow rooted, soft, and low set.

This bra has a smooth polyester outer cup with a cotton inner cup. The straps and gore have tasteful little pink bows. The cups come with cookie pockets and cookies, which are set in the lower bottom half of the cup (not over the entire cup like EMs pl). I'd almost consider the cookies half cookies. I did try putting two cookies in one side to deal with my asymmetry, but it was too hard to stuff 2 cookies into one pocket, and it gave the bottom of the cup an odd shape, which you can see ... in one of the pictures. All pictures are shown with a cookie pocket on my right side.

The shape this bra provides is rounded, uplifted, and exposed on the top of the breast. I love the CHP shape, and it looks great under a tshirt. Unfortunately, I probably could have gone with a 65E in this bra, as I do get some small gaping on my right side (and a teensy bit on my left). I would have preferred to wear this bra without cookies.

The straps are fully adjustable, and I do find them a little bit stretchy; not so much that you can't get some lift though. They do sit over my tail of spence, as most bras do, but I don't find them irritating. They have a nice soft inner lining on the straps that makes them comfortable. The band is nice and snug, and fits my 28"-29" rib cage well on the loosest hook (I can comfortably hook it on the second, but I don't like to overstretch bands).

Overall great quality as always, but wish I'd sized down to the 65E to get better cleavage without cookies. For comparison, the Pl I ordered in 65F fits without gaping.

    • I've noticed a growing consensus that CHP requires down sizing over the other EM padded styles, so you are not alone with this. For me, my CHP required size is even smaller than my SF bras.
This one is a great color for you!
      :)

    • 1

Thanks MamaPagan ! I didn't realize how much size I'd lost since losing a few pounds. I have a 65FF that was gaping, so I thought sizing down 1 size was enough.... apparently I was wrong! I think this bra would give amazing cleavage in a size smaller... but with the recent shipping fiasco I don't dare try to do an exchange. :(

    • 1

Yeah, I don't blame you at all! I cannot believe DHL is so bad! I've only had one experience with them here in the US, but they held my package for over a month at the local hub before delivery. I did eventually get it but was baffled by the delay. "Misplaced"

I'd have a real difficult time agreeing to charges without concrete proof they were legitimate. It really sounds like theft to me..... :(

    • 1

MamaPagan .. I thought there'd be some kind of receipt with my package showing the fee schedule too, but there wasn't. I have no idea how the charges were broken down by DHL. Guess I just have to count my losses and move on. Won't be making that mistake again.

    • 1

That is really horrible and I am so sorry you experienced it. If nothing else, maybe you can dispute it with your credit card company? (Assuming you paid DHL direct with a credit or debit card?) If nothing else, it would force them to provide you with the proof and documentation.

    • 2

i love it! too bad it doesnt fit, but it sure looks great! this bra is on my bra bucket list for sure.

    • 1

Another gorgeous one on you and one that I like. I'm not sure what size I would need with it though.

  3. This bra is so much prettier in person. I was a little nervous about the flowers but it's so much better in person!
The only thing is one cup fits differently than the other. Or at least that's how it looks. Not enough for a fit check but will check both cups measurements once I take it off LOL

    • remember, you can always put a pad in one side and not the other, if things are uneven

    • 1

This is with pads in so maybe I need to remove the pad on that side.

    • you can even put 2 in one side - since one looks sorta loose

    • 1

That print! Looks great on you and I always use a pad for asymmetry and love that EM includes them with her bras.

    • I had the same problem with my CHP Opium as well. Something about it must just highlight asymmetry (since I've never had an issue in any of my other bras before).

    • omg, mine did this as well! I measured and one strap was .5" further away from the gore. I had to get rid of it because EMs are already having too wide set straps for me lol

    Hasn't set fit

This bra style has lovely vibrant colours, and Ewa's usual high quality. The cups are very projected, both bottom and middle of the cup and very open on top, so the bra is friendly for top fullness. The cups are lined with cotton and have cookie pockets (removable cookies included). The band is made from two layers of thick jersey and mesh and the band feels very stable. The wires are not too narrow, the cup width of 17.2cm is higher than the average cup width of EM's in this size.
The fit is true to size and true to the usual EM CHP cut, but at least from my experience the CHP runs larger than the other EM cuts. The fit is not right for me, so I'll be listing it.

  5. My shape: semi-conical, splayed, narrow width, tall shallow roots. My breasts don't conform to bra shapes very well and are quite short.

The band on this CHP is far stretchier and longer than any other EM bra that I've tried thus far. My snug underbust hovers around 26.5 to 26.75 inches, and this bra I could easily clasp on the 3rd column of hooks to start. A CHP on me is full coverage, and that's ok. The cups on this CHP are more flexible than the CHP Noir, and curve back toward my body easier. This makes the cups far less noticeable under a shirt. The insides of the ... cups are also lined and fairly soft.

The wings on this bra are also quite high, around 5 inches. While not uncomfortable under the armpit, this is higher than any other EM bra I've tried and higher than I'd like. This places the bows right in the crook of my armpit. The wires are a 1/8" wider than my other 60J EM bras. They don't go all the way to the outside edge of the channel.

This bra is far more comfortable than the CHP Noir.

Revisiting this bra after some growth. It’s no longer too tall on me without cookies. I was worried about the depth being insufficient but it seems like it works. I love this cut as it one of the only ones that make my boobs round and I’m glad to have it fit finally.

    • 1

      So happy for you! :-)

    Fits

So, as a Comexim 3HC lover (narrower and more projected the better), after holding out on trying Ewa Michalak for a long time due to fear of straps being placed too wide, I finally took the plunge to try out this CHP when I saw a listing in my size and price range. And wow, am I glad I did - I think this is my new HG fit! The projection in this 65F EM CHP is better than a 65G or 70F in a Comexim 3HC, it's now my second favorite bra after my Comexim 3HC Beauty in 70F (which appears to be cut more like a ... 70G from comparison to other styles). The projection is legendary for a reason. I was pleased to also find the straps are just within my narrow shoulders' tolerance range, not in my armpits as I feared. And I mean, it's just a gorgeous bra - bright, feminine, but not too obnoxious or twee for my tastes. Oh, plus, the cookies/cookie pockets - I'm in love. For the first time in my life my right and left boobs can enjoy the same fit!!! I seriously underestimated how much I'd love that. One downside: the cups are a tiny, tiny bit this side of too big for me, and I'm currently at the higher end of the weight range I fluctuate within. Meaning, left boob is a perfect fit with maybe a tiny bit of extra wiggle room, but right boob needs like 1 1/2 cookies to be where it needs to (I currently have 2 stuffed in the cookie pocket which looks a tiny bit weird if you look close maybe, but invisible if not looking for it). But overall, amazing cleavage, finally fun color that fits, can't complain, and a great first experience with an Ewa Michalak bra. I'm curious about the quadding I might see in a 65E, but I think it could potentially still be a good fit in this cut, especially at the slightly lower end of the weight range within which I fluctuate (thanks 5'1" body for +/- 5 lbs making life such an adventure). Any thoughts on that?

Have you looked at the size differences between the F and E cups here in bratabase? That'll give you an idea. I flux between two cups due to asymmetry as well and Ewa isn't atrocious if you drop a cup down as the change in size from one cup to another isn't a full inch in depth but the wire width can be slightly wider on the larger cup. I'd check here to see if anyone has measured in your size range :)

    • 1

Glad you found a great fit, junebug506 ! Ewa Michalak has some gorgeous bras. I second fabulouslyfullfigure 's suggestion to compare 65E and 65F measurements in other EM CHPs. How much of the month are you at your smaller size? If most of the time, you may prefer a CHP in 65E most of the time.

Such a fun bra! The classic print of bright flowers and hot pink trim is so fun and I wish it fit. If I had gotten it a year ago, it would’ve been perfect, but I have gained weight again and the band is tight and my nips are in danger of escaping from the cups.

This is a classic CHP cut that offers cakes on a plate cleavage with a wide and low cut neckline. The straps are typically wide in this range and cut, but otherwise this cut offers a deep cup with lots of immediate projection and narrow wires. It’s very open on top so short roots may struggle with the right size.

Yay! I'm happy to have a CHP Opium that fits again. Thanks for the trade, Wilderness! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I need to fasten it on the tightest hooks since the band is a little loose, but the cups fit well. I love the super round and lifted shape of CHPs. The cut works really well with my short, projected breasts. It is comfy and flattering and I love it. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

    Didn't fit

I bought this and the Ch Cherry to review on my blog, and alas, neither of them fit.
This one is a mystery to me, as it has similar cup depth as most of my well fitting bras. I think it's just the fact that it's so low-coverage, it makes me quad. I need a 65DD.
Hopefully I can sell and replace them both before they're gone =/ I was so excited to add reviews for these.

Such an adorable set. Hope it sells for you quickly!

    • 1

If I was a D I'd buy this in a heartbeat! It's so stinking cute. I'm on a bra ban now and I'm only buying one more (second hand, won't get another chance). I think this might be my next one after my ban is lifted.

    • Oh, forgot. How do the shorts fit/true to size? Are they comfy?

    • 1

roxannelovesbras ahh I know, I love it.
      Thank you! :)

    • gratiat It is super cute!
I'd recommend it. It's really comfortable too. I just mostly based my sizes off my Lawenda and forgot it ran small Dx

The shorts are really comfortable and well made.
They run TTS if not a little big since they're pretty stretchy.
I got a 36 and recently gained some weight and they still ended up fitting perfectly.
I'm measuring about 37-37.5 in the hip right now.

    • *Ran large, I mean

    • Thanks! It looks like this'll be my next next bra then. I love the glamour but the S style is so high cut on me and I fall out of a plunge.

    • what are your measurements? UB and OB leaning over?

    • gratiat np! And yay! I'm sure you'll love it :) if it helps, the bra seems to run TTS also.

@newhere My UB is currently 29 and OB is 34.5-35 and I am tuberous, so anywhere from a bigger 30D to 30DD.
I should have gotten the 65DD for sure. :/

    • 1

Queequeg0925 are you going to get a 65DD? I have one and I feel it's very open on top (like its a bit bigger/more open than the CHP Colette I got-- both 65DD). If you do get it, I'll be interested in your review.

    • Prettyncharmeuse I hope to! As long as this sells, I should have enough to replace it :)

But I can see what you mean. However that worries me about the 65DD Dx
I actually just re-measured myself and am between 35.5 and 36 OB again somehow and this almost fits (@newhere sorry about that, my boobs are really all over the place lately. Driving me nuts :[ ).
The only way I can see that making much sense is that it's very open on top.
But if and when it sells I'll tag you in my review for the 65DD.

    • do you fit in 65E CH? we have almost same measurements. i was 35.2 last time i measured. or is it too big? was thinking of getting that.

    • newhere For this, I would get a 65DD even at 35-36". If you're 35.2, I'd say try the 65DD.

Right now I would have fit my 70D Ch Lawenda better than the 70C I have. That runs large in the cups, so I'd say I should still wear 65DD in the Ch.

I do think Prettyncharmeuse is right that it's open on top as well, and I currently have to size down in bras that have a lot of room on top.

I'm estimating that 65DD will have about 8" depth at the deepest spot (on top) and 65E should have...8.5" or so?

Hmm.. perhaps I'll do an in depth review on this one anyway. I'll try and do it tonight so I can check it out a bit more.

Love the bra! Band fits great, quite stretchy! Unfortunately, the cups were way too big (too open?). I would have been better off with a size 80DD. For reference, I'm usually a consistent 34E.
