Oh man. I am SO happy to have this bra. I've been obsessed with it since I found out about EM, but knew that it would be unlikely that I'd ever come across it in my size. I'd actually emailed Kaska before asking if I could have one made, and she said there was no more fabric left. So, when one, brand-new and in my size, bizarrely turned up in her shop almost two years after it was discontinued, it was a bra miracle! (Thank you so much to jlcl119 for finding it and posting here that it was available!!)

After wearing it all day yesterday, I can say ... that the Lawenda is hands down my favorite CHP I own. It fits like a glove! I didn't realize before how comparable it is to my 30G - Ewa Michalak » Pl Wrzos (443). Same dusty lavender fabric and stretchy half-adjustable straps. I'm 5'5" and right now the straps are perfect adjusted almost to the top, but eventually I may have to alter them or buy a Strap Saver. The cup height is perfect, high enough for stability but low enough to create spherical cakes-on-a-plate cleavage. The wires sit and stay perfectly in my IMF, and as compared to the 65J - Comexim » Sonia Half Cup (406) I recently tried, the cups accommodate upper and center fullness SO much better. The band is on the stretchy side for a 65. Overall, the bra is exceptionally comfortable, simple and so beautiful with its pink-lavender lace and small bows. The matching panty has a ruffle all the way around with the same lace, I absolutely love it.

    • The CHP Lawenda looks great on you, VioletIridescence . What a miracle it became available in your size, years after it was discontinued, brand new from the manufacturer!

    • Thank you! It really was... I'm going to treasure this one eternally! Haha.

    • I've been in love with this bra from the moment I saw it. I was so happy to see you get it when jlcl119 posted about it recently. Sometimes, these things are just meant to be. :) It looks perfect! I think it may have been made just for you.

    • Thanks so much Anya99 ! I'd like to think so too :)

This is a gorgeous purple bra by EM! I'm glad I was able to snag this one. The band is pretty stretchy, but the cups are narrow and projected, and open on top so it works for me in this size and would be FOT friendly. Full review on my blog!

  3. Another CHP win from Ewa Michalak. The band is very stretchy, but still feels secure on the loosest hook. The bra material is not as soft as I was hoping; it's not scratchy by any means, but I fell in love with the look of the material as soon as I saw a pic of this bra, and it's simply not as plush in person as it appears online. As the material is quite stretchy, the support is not as strong as some of my other EM bras, but it suits me just fine. The best part about this bra are the straps; EM used the super stretchy straps, also found on the S Turkusik and the S Teczowe-Kfiaty, for those familiar with those bras. I would say the color, in person, is slightly more dull than the pics portray it to be.

I also have the matching briefs, and they run fairly small. I would suggest sizing up, if you want to purchase them.

    • Are the briefs a problem for you? I am a 36/38 usually and have a 40 for the Gazeta as a size 2ish in jeans.

    • I wouldn't say they're a problem, so much as they're a bit smaller than I would prefer. All the briefs I have are a size 46, and I typically wear a 14 in jeans. While the briefs in this size don't cover me as much as I like, I've never had a problem with them riding up or anything along those lines. It's more something I notice when I first put them on. If you waiver between a 36 and 38, I'd suggest ordering a 38 and you'd be fine.

I don't think I can say anything new about Lawenda that hasn't been said before. As a sucker for purple bras, will most likely keep it despite the less than perfect fit. The cup size is pretty close, maybe a touch too open at the top. I am considering moving the straps inward. We all know about those STRAPS!!!, don't we?
Update: after gaining a few pounds the fit is perfect. No need for any adjustments, fits lovely as it is.

    • I think I could get away with a cup size smaller actually, but technically it is not a bad fit. I prefer unlined full cups lately, haven't worn this bra much.

  5. U[date Review: 8/19/15
Currently this bra is too small in the cup. My bust pops up and out of the cup due to the lack of vertical coverage.

    Original Review: 3/20/15
This is my third Ewa bra, and it has definitely exceeded my expectations yet again. This lovely bra is a muted plumb color. The straps are wrapped with the same fabric as the bra cups for the first half of the strap. The back half of the strap is made of adjustable elastic with a smooth feel, making adjustments fairly easy. I simply love the pale lilac colored bow detail of the straps because it gives a nice feminine ... feel. The under wires are narrow and close together with the cups providing a more up and out in front lift. To get the best fit for me, I did remove the cookies so my breast didn't try to peek out of the top of the cup. The cups are fairly thick providing modestly on chilly days with a removable cookie pad to help with pushup or uneven size correction. The outside fabric lays flat and doesn’t wrinkle so the cup appears smooth under clothing. There is lilac colored lace along the top of the bra cups, again adding that feminine touch coordinating with the bows. The band has elastic that is evenly distributed along the top and bottom so I didn’t experience any digging in by the end of the day. The hooks in the back had four columns with two rows of hooks. Because I did not special order a smaller band size I had to wear this on the tightest setting. This works great for now, but eventually I will need to make the band smaller to fit my 26” ribcage as the band relaxes and stretches over time. I wore this bra right out of the box for a full day and didn’t have any uncomfortable moments, nor any red marks by the end of the day.

I purchased this bra on 3/10/15
I received notice of shipment on 3/11/15
I received my bra in the mail on 3/18/15
This is based on shipping from Poland to the Los Angeles, CA area.

  6. I've tried 85G and 85GG in CHP, and neither were quite 100% correct. The 85GG had enough depth but the cups were too tall (luckily a shirt hides this), 85G was short enough to fit my breasts but didn't have enough depth so it didn't tack. 80GG seems to hit the sweet spot right between the two sizes - the cups are short enough for my super-short boobs, and it has enough depth to hold them in place.

A few things to note - the straps are not fully adjustable, and they feel really stretchy. The wires feel narrower than my other CHPs, and are probably as narrow ... as I'd want to go. And, pictures do not do this bra justice - the colors on it are beautiful. The purple is this lovely dark dusky lavender, and the pink lace is a similar, dusky shade. I love bright colors, but I also hold a special love for soft, muted tones, and purple is my favorite color.

I bought this one used only half-expecting it to work, so I was quite pleased and surprised to find that it actually does quite nicely.

    • CHPs are quickly becoming my favorite style in EM. 80GG as well. I've recently picked up the CHP Cappuccino and it is by far my favorite EM bra to date :)

    • I really like CHP - it's just pretty and I love the way I look in them. 80GG is my best fit for them, which is kind of weird as I usually wear 36HH in UK bras. My shape is weird to fit.

    • overthestars it may be because the cups are a bit more open on top than other EM styles. I know some girls that prefer to size down in the CHP style to get the best fit :)

    • Yeah, I'm trying to figure out what size will work best for me for S now. I have issues with cups being too tall - at least with unlined bras I can get ones that are very closed on top which works pretty well.

    • Have you tried Comexim? They do alterations at no extra charge, and a reduced cup is one of the most common..

    Didn't fit

The cups fitted beautifully but the band was way too big (an arm underneath) and the straps were ridiculously loose on the tightest setting.

Such a shame as it made my boobs look so fancy!

The quality was superb otherwise, so if you're tall and on the larger side of a 30 band... it will be perfect!

  8. Yay! FINALLY!!! My very first Polish bra, my very first Ewa Michalak! I actually found this bra on eBay and just HAD to snatch it up!! Lol! I am not familiar with EM or their sizing/styles so this was a total shot in the dark. The seller listed this as a 30FF equivalent, and I normally wear a 28G so I thought this would be perfect!!!

Well, the comfort is pure perfection at least. But I feel like this bra could fit much better. I'm thinking I would def need at least a 60 band. I had to hook this on the tightest hook and it's still not ... tight enough for my preference. The band is very stretchy in my opinion, but soft n comfy. The cups, well they just seem awkward to me. They look great at first glance, but for some reason I'm getting a little bit of wrinkling on the left. I feel like I'm about to spill over the top but they are very open and loose so there's no quad boobing. But it almost feels like this bra has reduced cups, the cups come up short for me and my nipple is barely covered. I don't know if I should try going up in the cup and down in the band, maybe a 60G/GG cuz I'm worried the cup might gap and/or wrinkle. But the wire width fits me perfectly (5.5"). They're not extending out to my armpits or wrapping around my back. The straps seem a little too far apart for me but I could deal with that. And the gore sits nicely against my sternum without digging in. I'm actually quite surprised at just how comfy the gore is. I also feel like the wings on the side are a perfect height, just tall enough and not too short.

This is a beautiful bra, and definitely high quality! I'm just not sure if this is the right EM style for me. I'm sure I could make it work if I find the right size or style for my shape. This style gives a terrific lift and shape, with great projection. I tried a shirt on with it just to see the shape it gave me and wowzers, the girls looked amazing!! Lol!! I'm not sure if I should hold onto this one (as technically it fits) but I think I can find a much better fit, perhaps in a different style and one that is my actual size (not a sister size).

Update: So, after wearing this bra ALL day and night, I'm loving it! The comfort is just undeniable, and it makes the girls look oh so good. I think it's the removable push-up pads, but this bra just gives em that extra oomph, like only my VS push-ups have ever been able to do. It almost feels like I'm not even wearing a bra. I cut the tag off earlier cuz that was poking in under my arms, and as soon as I did that, AHHHH...total bliss!! And I absolutely LOVE the bows on the straps (mores the placement) and how they come up a bit from the cup! I shouldn't have been so quick to list this bra, I've decided I'm def hanging onto it until I see something else I like from EM in a 60G/GG.

    • The CHP is listed as a 'half cup' bra - its actually cute on you though! I'm sure I'd fall out lol Have you seen the Rixie clip? Supposedly it works to shorten bands

    • Thank you!!! I'm wondering if maybe I'm just not used to this brand. I usually just throw on my VS bras and call it a day. Lol, they have more coverage and I guess that's just what I'm used to. It is an absolutely adorable bra tho. I'm trying to wear it for the afternoon to see what i think after wearing it longer. So far it's super comfy! And I've heard of the Rixie clip, I need to invest in one of those!! Thanks for the tips!!

  9. Pretty yet practical.
Band is on the larger side & is pretty stretchy. I think the cups may be a touch large, too. It's really a little small in the cup for me, but I can get away with it because it's so open on top.

  10. After my GREAT SUCCESS with the Famme Fatale, I ordered this and was slightly confused. Aside from the slight difference in gore wire overlap, these measure almost identically. In fact, there seems to be a slightly stiffer band, so you'd expect this to be the tighter bra. But it felt much looser at the time. I was wearing it with the pads and fastened on the second hooks--not tragic, but not perfect.

That said, my weight shifts like a roller coaster, especially my breast size (THANKS, endometriosis!), and right now this fits me like a glove.

Was it me or was it the bra? I don't know. But if the bra fits, wear the hell out of it.
