    Used to fit

What I like most about this bra is the way it looks. I bought the lemon and black coloured one and the yellow colour is really muted. I also love the lace and ribbon on the tops of the cups.

Fit wise, it's ok. For some reason I get some gaping at the top of the cup on my bigger breast, but on the other side it sits fine, otherwise the cups fit great. One thing to note is that the cups themselves are a little itchy, I don't know if washing them will change that so I will update once I do so.

Generally, I ... think I prefer unpadded bras (when I say this bra is padded, I mean the cups are made of foam. This is not a push up bra).

The band itself is a bit stretchy, but not too stretchy. When I stretch the band while I'm wearing it, it doesn't stretch too too far. I probably could go down a band size, but I'm not sure if a 28 would be too small. I generally prefer a tighter band anyway so your mileage may vary.

One last thing I'd like to mention is wearability of this bra. As much as I like the frills, I have maybe one shirt I can wear it under. I think this bra would work best with shirts that don't have any stretch in them like a button down cotton shirt, otherwise the bumpy lace will show.

So, overall, this bra is super cute, but in my opinion has limited wearability.

Update: I haven't worn this bra much, therefore I haven't washed it that much either. So to update, it's still a bit itchy.

I own two of these bras, a 28F and a 30E. Neither one fits properly, and they fit very differently. They obviously are slightly different cuts of the bra. The lace trim along the top of the cup is attached differently, creating a much lower coverage cup on the 30E bra than on the 28F, so my nipples always end up poking up out of the cup. The gore digs in on both of them, and is much higher and more painful on the 28F. Overall, this is a pretty bra, but in both sizes and slightly different cuts I have, it's unwearable.

Bought this bra and have only used it to try it on!!! I LOVED this bra but again it is way too small I feel like I can't breath in it! On top of that I get a quad boob after scooping and swooping. I feel like you should probably go a whole band size and 1-2 cup sizes up in this bra it gives you an awesome gorgeous round look I have never felt so confident about a bra before! I am deffinately looking to exchange it for a new 32F.

I bought this off Bratabase. It's too shallow for me and squishes my boobs. Here are the alterations that the previous owner made.

    - straps taken off, cup shortened in the sides accordingly, straps re-attached, I also tightened the satin ribbon and cups are now a bit more close on top. cup depth 23 cm (9.1 inch).
    - band shortened: I removed the hooks + eyes-parts, cut fabric off and re-attached them. band length unstretched 57cm (22.4 inch), stretched 82 cm (32.3 inch).

With the bra come matching briefs, UK size 14. Please note the colour is not exactly the same as in the bra! The bra is more deep wine red than the briefs, but the colour difference in small.

This bra needs only one minor alteration. I need to reattach the straps a little more to the center, and I think that solves the gapping of cups.
The band is definitely bigger than in my other CK bras. It is fine when in the smallest hooks for NOW, so I would need a tighter one. Otherwise I think the fit is okay and it is a nice looking bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

EDIT1. The band is very stretchy, so I altered it by sewing an extra elastic. I can now wear the bra but in the tightest hooks. I would normally need a 28 band, so 28 or even 26 would be needed for me in this model.
EDIT2. Did a proper and permanent alteration to the band.

This is about the white-pink bra!! ( I also have blue and red).

The bra is too small for me in the cups. I deliberately ordered it in this size, because I had issues with bigger cups as well, but but. Well, My nipples don´t stay in the cups and I quadboob, plus the wires are too narrow for me.

I usually wear 28F (Panache), and in this 30DD the band is too big for me. I altered it "down"
by sewing extra elastics to the band, I took a picture of it (the extra elastics are also white and they do blend in very well so you have to ... look carefully!).
EDIT. I did a permanent alteration, cut fabric out and re-attached the hooks + eyes. The labels are now gone because of that.

Straps are soft and comfortable and they are fully adjustable. I do like the appearance of this bra, that´s why I keep ordering it in all possible sizes... I want it to work for me!!

(Note that the band length varies with colour!!! Un-altered and non-stretched band:
    - blue bra 59 cm (EDIT. the blue bra is overall a little smaller than the red and pink)
    - red bra 62cm
    - white/pink bra 63 cm!!! )

    Fits

I love this bra. It's perfect for my shape (shallow) and it's really cute, too. The center gore can wear on my sternum over the course of the day but it's not painful, just a nuisance. I'm also considering bending the underwire a bit to relieve some of the pressure.

All in all, the cups are perfectly shaped for me and the band provides enough support. I could go down a band size, but it's not dire. The shoulder straps are comfortable.

My only complaint would be the decorative nature of the bra making it a somewhat situational choice since it's visible under thin layers of clothing. Not a big deal to me right now in February, but the in the summertime I'll have to plan outfits accordingly.

"What would you tell a friend with similar boobs about this bra?"
For full-on-top shallow boobs, it's hard to tell when this bra no longer fits until it's 2 or more cups too small. Since it is quite open on top, it doesn't cut into breast tissue in the traditional sense. Rather, it spills over the top when the cup is too small. I would recommend this to somebody who is between cup sizes.

Well, in this case, I actually think that this bra is a very good bra! The material is soft, the straps are nice and stretchy, and it's very beautiful (in Silver/Black). I like the straps a lot - having firm unstretchy straps are a pain.

What I really dislike about this bra is that it shows through clothing because the upper lace is so darn thick. Some people recommend removing the lace, but I would rather not compromise the aesthetics of the bra.

This bra is a little over-the-top with the decorative details, but it is gorgeous. Yay.

I got a 30 band, and weirdly when it is stretched it is pretty comparable, length wise, to a bra that was way too tight on me. Yet, this isn't too tight at all. I think I listed that it's just right because it feels fine, though I can yank it away from my back enough to fit a hand in the space there. Then again when I do that, the cups pull taught and it's horrifying. I don't think I could size down and have it be comfortable.

The cups seem to fit okay. ... I have at least a one cup difference between my left and right sides, so in general my right boob is eternally overwhelmed by the cup while the left is comfortably snug. In this particular bra, there is gapping on both sides (more significantly on the right side of course) but I can't entirely tell if it's because the cup size is too big or if the thick lace on the top is just making it appear larger than it is. Depending on how I move my body around, the left side can get slightly quad-booby, I have found.

I have what I consider to be extremely wide-set breasts, and the gore on this one is just about perfect! It lies completely flat and I don't have any random extra space in the cups near the middle like I do in most bras. Hooray.

Unfortunately, the gore is also the biggest problem for me. I wore this bra all day today, and the entire time the wires were jabbing my sternum. And I really mean, jabbing into my bone. It felt like my bra was bruising me (it didn't, from what I can tell) and all day I dreamed about taking it off. No other part of the bra felt too tight.

I am really confused about this, because I feel like the fit of this bra looks and feels ok otherwise. Am I missing something obvious? I think the cups are a little big on this (but not enough to size down, I think?) but other than that I really can't find any noticeable problems with the fit. Do the underwires come up too high? They come up the perfect height to fully enclose my breasts, but maybe that's wrong for this bra style? Or maybe it's my sternum that is the problem? The wires seem to be laying flat but I could be wrong. I really don't know, but this bra really hurts and I don't know if I can wear it again unless I figure out how to tweak the wires a little. Which is a shame, because a) it's beautiful, and b) I bought it on sale and probably can't return it.

I tried to put this in Fitting Help but Bratabase wouldn't let me since in most of the categories I noted that the bra fits fine.

    Alas!

    • The wires pressing into your ribcage is in general not about the bra being the wrong size or style, but because the ribcage not being flat but the bra wires are. Try to bend the tip of the wires outwards to match the curve of your ribcage better. That should relieve the pressure and make the bra a lot more comfortable.
