I purchased this bra a few months ago after first trying out the ABTF calculator and randomly buying some bras in my size range. It came in the first crop of NWT/new to me bras in that size range. had begun activly losing weight so I realized this cup size may have been a little big, especially with my smaller breast on one side. The bra isn't an ideal fit but it gave me a starting point to figure out where to go next.

The Princess Balconys bras appearance was pretty and especially girly in pink lace. Most Curvy Kate bras are visually appealing to me and I ... wish this one fit better. The construction looked impressive when compared with my older cheap molded cup and push up bras, with horizontal seams sewn together. but I was happy to try more lightweight and better fitting bras.

The straps were too far apart for my narrow shoulders on my petite body sadly, but that may often be the case with balconette/balcony bras. I wish they were in a little more. The center gore is a little too high up and kind of pushed into my sternum a little. I have a lot of center fullness to compete with but this may be the style on my body. I was quite happy to try a 28 band, that fit so much better than my prior 34-38 bands. The cups would have fit my prior breast measurments a little better, that had fullnes distributed differently. The lace on the top would have been good for the upper fullness I once had as well. The cups may have been too shallow, as I have heard Curvy Kate bras are but the fit was off enough that I really am unsure. The wide wires felt odd, and when combigned with the gore it pushed my breasts down outward running towards my armpits somewhat east west looking. That is not the lifted look that I want to achieve. I think I am even fullness top and bottom when i first try to lean over to gauge it, but I think my narrow roots and projection cause me to be functionally FOB, with a lot of prominent center fullness. Certain times of the month I gain a bit more fullness on top, but not excessive. Plunge styles tend to work out better for me. Right now I fit about a size UK 30FF 28G in non padded bras, and this bra is probably one I should find a new home for.

This bra is pretty! Unfortunately its both a size and style mismatch but helped me gauge what to avoid and look for in some future bra attempts.

This bra is SO FREAKING CUTE and I wish that it fit me. I bought new-with-tags it from someone on Reddit when I was trying to figure out my bra size, and it is just way too tight. I can fasten it, but it hurts. Unfortunately, when trying it on, the tag got ripped off of the plastic tag fastener. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Either way, the baby pink color is adorable especially with all of the ribbons and the cute polka dot pattern.

This bra like many Curvy Kates is more on the shallow side in terms of cup depth but is very beautiful and comfortable.

    • Is this, perhaps, CK6001? It looks like the balcony rather than the plunge. If you are looking for a narrow-ish deep cup, try Princess in the Flamingo colorway. It is remarkably different, dimensionally. Here are measurements and a review for the 32G: http://bra.pe/XYek/

Way too small on me... I can't even really properly evaluate it. The band is far too tight and the cups too small. Really cute bra though.

The Good: The fabric of the cup is soft and comfortable, and the bra is very sturdy. It gives a lot more support than one would expect from a soft cup bra. It also has a nice, round shape.

The Bad: The little dots can show through thinner shirt material, giving your boobs a lumpy look. Definitely a bra for sweaters and hoodies, rather than tanks and blouses. I also found the ruffles on the straps to be a little itchy, but this was pretty easily fixed by loosening the straps a bit. The straps are also too far apart for my liking.

The Ugly: The gore on this thing ... is just killer. These underwires are industrial strength, that's for sure. They're so thick and sturdy that they bite into the breastbone to the point where I couldn't wear the bra for more than a half hour, and my chest was sore after taking it off. Luckily, I was able to remedy this by bending the wires at the gore away from my sternum. After periodic episodes of bending throughout the day, the gore eventually became bearable. This could possibly just be a result of me getting a band that was too small, but regardless the band itself feels fine to me, so I'm leaning towards it just being the make of the bra.

Overall, I'd say this bra could be better, but it's definitely capable of a comfortable fit with a little effort.

This was a gorgeous bra, but it didn't fit me. The band was too big, it rode up. The cups were too small and wide set, and the center gore was too wide for me. Would probably fit better on wide set breasts. The fabric and band were comfortable (even though it didn't fit) but the embroidery on the top of the cups was very itchy, especially the first time I put it on. The ribbon cut into my breast. The pink one I got was so pretty though, too bad its shape just doesn't work for me, even if i did get it in a bigger cup size

The band is firm but not too tight. The fabric is soft and pliable. It was too round for my conical shape.

My biggest problem with this bra is that it is not a true 28 band. As you can see in my measurements, this CK Princess in Black measures 22 inches and only 27.2 when stretched! So for someone who normally measures 30 -31 this bra will not fit. I cannot fasten it without an extender. And even then, the straps become too far apart and dig into my shoulders. This bra would be great for someone who has a 26 or 28 inch ribcage. I am not sure if this is a quality control issue whereby only this bra has that problem or if this is simply a result of it being black and the dye made it shrink. Either way, I only wore it once before it was delegated to the back of the drawer. In short, this bra would fit someone who is 28GG if they prefer their band very tight, but would comfortably fit someone who is 26GG.

My regular size in Curvy Kate's soft bras is usually 28GG, but I feel like I would've needed a 28H in this one. It seems to run very tight over my boobs and can in some situations give me the quadboob effect. I did remove the band to make it less obvious, because I felt it ran tighter than the cup fabric itself. The shoulder bands aren't fully adjustable and they seem to be a bit too wide set for my body. The band also runs a bit tighter than your usual 28-band.
