    Didn't fit

I adore the look of the Sonia. It's feminine, understated, elegant but not without a hint of sexiness. The Sonia was my favorite in appearance of the three Comexims I purchased together from Breakout Bras at the same time. I love the color scheme which isn't at all boring but also doesn't show through fabrics. Plus with my pink undertones and freckles - the pinky/peach cups and beigey brownish straps are practically better than a nude for me.

I also LOVE the shape this bra gives - it's such a gorgeous rounded shape and in this size where the cups are too small for ... me to wear out of the house, I'm tempted to keep it since I get that locked in place perfectly round, but separate, "cakes on a plate" look. I probably would have tried to make it work but the cups being too small made the wires sit on breast tissue and the gore not tack properly, so I had to wear the straps very tight to keep everything in place, which was very painful. Still, check out the pictures, the bra fits like a lingerie model's (meaning it's sooo pretty on but when you look closer you realize it doesn't fit right at all, but still, soo *pretty* that you want to buy it even though you know it will never look like that on you)

Despite being labeled as a 'padded balcony' instead of a padded half cup like the 65N - Comexim » Burgundy Half Cup (357) the two bras seemed to be nearly identical in cut, or they did the way they fit me! At least to my untrained eye the Sonia looked like and had a lot of the same problems as the Burgundy Half Cup. The only differences I saw were: the burgundy was a better fit because the cups were a size bigger, but the Sonia looked better under clothing despite fitting substantially "worse" and being less comfortable. The Sonia's seams were flatter and didn't show as much under clothing, and the shape was more frozen in place so the quadding was more aesthetically pleasing than in the burgundy (I think this is a cup size thing too). Also, the cups were small enough on me that the wrinkling and slight gap I got on the top outside of the cups in the Burgundy is mostly filled in in the Sonia - but you can still see some slight wrinkling and gaping there, and I'm certain if there was more depth in the cups so the boob could settle properly, you'd see those same fitting issues; without alterations it would seem that this style has cups that are too tall and wires that are too wide for me and my center fullness.

I really love this bra and I wish I could keep it. Now I've got to do research and figure out if there are other models or alterations that I can get (or perhaps try the Ewa Michalak CHP or CH instead, though those straps are supposed to be even farther apart!) because I'd really love to have a padded half cup (or balcony?) like this one, I just need to find a design that will work with my shape!
