This bra has customizations: reduced gore, reduced cups, and three row of eyes.

Also, it looks different than all the others because I took a seam ripper to it. The lace trim along the top of the cups and the gore bow was really awful. It didn't look that nice on the bra and in my opinion cheapened the whole look. In Comexim's images of this bra, the trim is a little more solid and ribbony. They should have stuck with that.
Anyway, I rid this bra of it and replaced it with red bows at the gore and where the straps join the cup. A bigger one I had ... removed from an Ewa Michalak bra a few months ago and smaller ones at the straps that I had in my sewing kit. I think it's nicer now.

So, I was curious to try a Comexim with reduced cups. Sometimes I bubble over my 65G/60H but not enough to go up to a 65H. I figured a 65H with reduced cups may be workable though. Something like a 65G.5 instead of a full cup up.
Aside from that, the bra also has my name. Spelling is different, but it's close enough. So, I kind of needed it.

Anyway, the band is really soft and really comfortable. It has a nice gentle stretch to it and I feel secure and well supported on the loosest hook. I could go to the middle, but the end is fine so there I'll stay. I think I like the thicker band and the addition of the extra row. I may order that for myself in the future.
The gore tacks and the wires are comfortable. Right around 5", give or take a cm, and that's where I like them. They come up a bit high under the arm. I don't experience any chafing, but I feel it and wish they were lower.
The straps are soft and smooth. The adjusters stay in place well. They're not super stretchy, but they are long. I have the adjusters sitting on my traps now and I'll have to shorten the straps at some point. They are not too wide set for me. This is where my broad shoulders are a bonus for me. The high sides would be unbearable if the straps were also too wide, but that's not the case thankfully.
The cups fit pretty well. I fill most of it up nicely, but there is some empty space at the top where the strap joins the cup. This is also the case with my 65G - Comexim » Irish Coffee Biustonosz (335). The bra fits well everywhere else and the empty space isn't very evident, with or without a top.

Overall, Jacqueline is a comfortable and appealing bra. I'm happy that I got to try a customized Comexim and got to experiment with a cup up. In the future, I think I prefer the slight smallness of my unaltered 65G/60Hs but I may go for that third row of eyes.

Oh it looks so much better now! I love your alterations!

    • Oh it looks so much better now! I love your alterations!

    • hi. im currently trying to find my comexim size. just to compare, what is your underbust measurement? and your overbust standing with bra? overbust leaning without bra?

    • Hey, my five measurements per ABTF are

      Tight UB: 26.5
      Snug UB: 28.5
      Standing: 33.5
      Leaning: 37
      Lying: 35

The calculator gives me a UK size of 28E/F and I wear a 65G or 60H in Comexim, 65F in soft Ewa Michalak, 65E in padded Ewa Michalak. Standing overbust with a bra on isn't a great measurement, but mine is generally around 35, give or take, depending on the bra.

Thanks, PetiteCollegiate I have no idea why they went that way they did with the trim, but I like my version more.

    • newhere Those Comexim sizes are for the plunges. I haven't tried any of their half cups because they'd be too wide for me.
Also, don't use their calculator. It gave me some ridiculous size like 75B or something when I tried it.

    • what do you mean by "too wide"? because i was thinking of getting a half cup.

    • The wire width. From tip to tip would be around 5.5" in my size. I need a width of about 5". Otherwise the wires sit on my ribs, do not properly encase my breast tissue, and cause pain.

    • i just measured my bra. it is about 5.5 -6.25 wire width. and this cup is too small for me. so you'd say i need a bra with a bigger wire width right?

    • Possibly.
It could also be too wide making the cup feel smaller than what it is. A shape incompatibility.

If I were you, I would do a fit check. Do a couple in some different bras. Post your measurements, the bras measurements, and some photos.
There are some people here that are really really good at helping with finding your shape and guiding next steps.

This bra looks much better with your alterations! Glad it worked out well enough to keep.

    • learningaboutbras thanks! It's a little different. Not so round and globe like like my other Comexims. But the shape is still lifted and I actually like that I get the forwardness and the lift without so much cleavage. It'll be a good bra for v-necks in more modest company I think.

    • I can't decide if I like it or hate it... I think I like the houndstooth (sort of) and dislike the trim? Maybe with pink trim this would be cuter. Sorry this one didn't work out for you! It looks great straight on, but I think you're right to go down a cupsize. Girl, it's nice to have you back again! :) Feel better soon

I think the trim would look a lot nicer if it wasn't lace, but was just like...solid red fabric. I think the combination is a little jarring as it is, but a solid color would have done this huge favors! And thank you : ) Seems like my whole house is getting sick, so I have to avoid everybody until I feel better lol.

I think this bra is cute, but yes too tall for you. Looks like their older plunge cut (think Mint Sorbet), which my shape did not agree with either.

    • I was the original owner of this bra and couldn't find the matching panties at the time of sale. I recently ran across them. They're new in the package. They're the briefs style. They're size small, in case the new buyer is interested.

I ordered this 65H Comexim Jacqueline Bra with three custom features:
    (1) Reduced (lower than standard) cups
    (2) Reduced (lower than standard) center gore
    (3) Hooks and eyes that are 3x3 instead of the 3 columns and 2 rows that are probably standard in this size

I enjoy these custom features, but Jacqueline has a fatal flaw: the wires are too narrow. The 5" cup width I found when measuring it confirms this. I am annoyed this bra's width is exactly the same as that of the 65G Comexim Jacqueline I ordered and received at the same time. Despite the customizations, the center gore is perhaps half an inch higher than ideal ... for me, but this would be tolerable if not for the wire width.

The black and white houndstooth type pattern is striking. The red trims are true red and perfectly complement the black and white pattern of the cups. This is a well designed bra. I cannot recall seeing a similar looking bra anywhere.

The piece of fabric that contains the hooks had sharp edges when I received the bra. This flaw occurred on several of my Ewa Michalak bras, too. I don't expect the perfect comfort of a Prima Donna or Fauve bra at Polish bra prices, but I am disappointed so many Polish bras actually cut me. I was so tired of the cutting, I sanded down the top and bottom of the rectangular fabric piece containing the hooks. It looks worn now, but it won't draw blood.

My next customized Comexim will be an Anna Pardal model, ordered through Sophisticated Pair in North Carolina. Erica, Sophisticated Pair's owner and Comexim enthusiast, has already set this in motion with an email to Anna. In addition to the three customizations I enjoyed in the Jacqueline, I've requested straps that are closer set in front and higher coverage under the arms. Anna B., an Anna Pardal employee, requested clarification, so I sent her my preferred cup width, cup depth, and center gore height. I hope the higher price point of Anna Pardal's Comexim bras will spare me sharp edged bra parts.
