    60J

    Didn't fit

With little data available about Comexim unlined bras, I purchased both the 60HH and 60J Ivonne for "science." This is a beautiful bra!! The texture alone is impressive. Straps are fully adjustable. And, 3x3 fasteners are standard. The deep taupe color is saturated, rich, and I know this style will be my companion under white knits.

In Ewa Michalak unlined bras, I felt unsupported. The bras I tried had only 2x4 fasteners. Those of you with heavy breasts will appreciate the support of Ivonne's 3x3 fasteners. The Ewa Michalak HM, SM, and BM had too tall cups. And, when my breast tissue had enough room, I could not ... tolerate the excessively wide strap placement. But, this unlined Comexim has impressive lift, narrower strap placement, and a shorter cup. Not only are the straps attached more narrowly, but also the strap width is a supportive .7". Fellow short-rooted friends, Comexim Ivonne may be a viable option for you! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

The immediate projection is very good. Because I have not tried unlined Ewa Michalak's in a 60cm band, I can't fairly compare the 60J Comexim, 65G Ewa Michalak, or 70F Ewa Michalak. From my perspective, I recommend Ivonne for short-rooted, projected breasts. Because I have very short roots, there is a bit of wrinkling along the top edge when I slump my shoulders. However, in my typical posture, there are no wrinkles.

Compared to Panache/Cleo, you will notice there is no in-cup quadding despite the transition to an embroidered fabric. The profile is smooth and round even under a thin, stretchy knit (see the photo). Again, the band comfort and support with Ivonne is superior to what I've experienced with Panache/Cleo. The fabrics on Lucy, Lily, and Marcie seem cheap and itchy. I find Ivonne's fabric sumptuous in comparison. Finally, the straps on Ivonne are positioned more closely together than what I have experienced with Panache/Cleo, too. There are strong advantages to trying unlined Comexim bras.

This 60J has an unusually short band which stretches only to 26.5". The 60HH Ivonne stretches to 29". There is dramatic variation in band length. I'm wearing the 60J with a full extender, but the 60HH fits without an extender. This is the one disadvantage: you won't know what band length you'll receive unless you specify band length in your order. Did you read that correctly? https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> Comexim will manufacture your bra of choice to the precise band length you require. Wow. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> In previous orders, the band length varied by less than .5" in the multiple, same band length bras.

Had I been more attentive when I ordered, I would have requested overlapping gore wires. I intended to order returnable Comexims. However, after ordering, I learned 60cm bands are not returnable. I need a bit more projection or the gore width would be acceptable. I'm learning sufficient projection prevents my tissue from compressing into the gore wires. There is enough projection and support from the fabric that the cup doesn't wrinkle at the base. Good news for projected breasts!!

I thoroughly recommend Ivonne!! And, I will order again with overlapping gore wires. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

All your descriptions sound great for me, although I didn't find SM too tall on me. I wonder how the 60HH compares to their 60HH padded bras. I'd have no idea what size I am in unlined Comexims, I've never ordered because of the lack of information lol! But it's a beautiful bra. The 5.5 cup width you've put in for the 60HH is about 0.2 more than I can tolerate in even an unlined bra though. Le sigh.

    • I added the 60HH measurements, too :-) I couldn't wear the 60HH padded because of inadequate immediate projection. The unlined 60HH didn't fit, but it was a better fit than the padded 60HH. Bending the wires may work perfectly for you ;-)

    • 1

Idk. I'm shrinking in some way these days because my fit in old standard bras has changed a bit but I don't know if 9" of depth would be adequate. I'll ponder it for a while. I wonder if it would disappear under a white & thin shirt. It seems like it might be a bit too embellished for that. I desperately would like to have an unlined nude-tan-neutral for summery shirts. Can't seem to find one.

    • When the photos are approved, there is a photo of this under the most clingy, thin knit I own. It is not perfectly smooth. :-(

    • 2

We need a dislike button on here lol. I really want as inconspicuous of a nude bra as I can find. Some of my summery shirts are very very thin and flowy. it gets over 100 in the summers here with suffocating humidity, dewpoints known to reach the 80's and top Florida. Honestly, putting a cami under my lightweight breezy shirts to hide my bra defeats the purpose of a lightweight breezy shirt.

    • It is miserable in the summer here. However, last summer was the most pleasant in my memory. We were only over 100 for a few days. No camis for me either. I was moved from Montreal to here. The movers were stunned by the "It's hotter than Florida!!!" climate ;-) ;-)

    • 1

I love love love summer, don't get me wrong. I hate winter with a fiery burning passion. But yes, the bras. Oh, the bras. Must find my perfect summer bra.

    • 1

I wonder if the champange-colored EM triumph SM might work: no embroidery. Hope you find something soon! :-)

    • 2

It has that lighter colored pattern on it though. I have a feeling it'll do what the nude Marcie did. Blend in except for the white parts. All nude bra, people! It's not a hard concept!!!

    • 3

I'm also frustrated with trying to find a plain beige or even blush pink bra for summer. I have so many cute, patterned bras, but trying to find plain, not overly embellished basics in lighter fabrics is next to impossible.

    • how tall is this bra?

    • 1

6.3" following Bratabase's cup height measurement guide. :-)

    • @lc10706 have you tried Fanstasie Esme maybe 30F? I ordered a 30E from Amazon bc they didn't have the F and the width is under 5" but the depth was just at 9 or slightly shy. I could button up a shirt That normally I can't button but I don't look squashed in it. DressTheTwins - this looks lovely in you. I like the color too! Maybe I'll get brave enough to order. For the job I have next year I have to wear white buttons so "nudes" are going to be key.

    • revisa I wore RED (Comexim Eris) under a thin white t-shirt today :-) :-)

    60K

    Didn't fit

I received this bra from a another Bratabase user. I never thought I would fit into a 60K but the measurements looked comparable so I gave it a try. The band is to small for my 29in frame so I have to wear and extender. The cups fit good, they are deep at the bottom with immediate depth The gore is too wide so my breast tissue pushes the wires sit below my IMF so it sits less on breast tissue. This cause a wrinkle in the bottom of the cup. The gore is also to tall causing some discomfort but not too much due to Comexim soft ... wires. The seam can be see under shirt but not too noticeable. It has a simple flower details but it is more of a practical bra then sexy lingerie. This bra would work great as a nude for some one with darker skin. I would love to order an altered unlined Comexim(narrow, overlapping and shortened gore) but with their inconsistency in alterations I find myself wearing imperfect fits. I am also unsure of what size, I usually were a 65H and this is 2 cup sizes bigger but fits.

    • Beautiful!!! :-) :-)

    • It's actually 3 cup sizes bigger which is crazy! I found a 60K that fit more like a 55L and it was perfect. I can't do comexims full gore height for the reason you stated. It's so stabby and painful. Glad it doesn't bother you

    • I was SO disappointed. This bra "should have" fit me well, but it arrived smaller than the 60J I had just sold. The immediate projection in Comexim unlined is blissful!!

    • 1

I think next time I order I'll try Zathiya or Bra Obsessed so I can be sure to get what I want.

violetknight yeah. Jaimie at bra obsessed is amazing. Zathiya is great too. Jaimie is just willing to go above and beyond to help. I've sent her pics every step of the way until we finally nailed my comexim size and alterations that I need

After a few wearings, I'm still not sure about this bra.

    Aesthetics:

The color is much more brown than I was expecting. The stock photos, and others, have reported that it is a little bit purplish. Nope, mine is just brown. I do like the color and fabric. It has a nice sheen and is soft and comfortable.

There is an odd ruching or wrinkling on the edges of the cups at the armpits. Others don't seem to have this.

    Fit:

The cups don't quite lay flat on the top edges, the bra kind of looks like it's eating my frame, and the straps are in my armpits. The band is a wee ... bit big. I feel like this bra stays secure all day but doesn't do a ton for me as far as lift. I haven't tried it on tighter hooks but I feel like maybe I should. The wires are perfect though!

    Comfort:

This, and the color, are the reasons why I wear this bra ALL the time. I tend to get wire pain from a lot of bras that have wide wires, and that is totally eliminated with this bra. At the end of the day, the wire marks are perfectly around my tissue and I've forgotten that I'm even wearing a bra.

Alright, first impressions (will update after more wear):

This bra is lovely. I wasn't sure what the color was at first-it's more mauvey in the photos than it is in person. I might call it a deep taupe or something. I'm still not sure lol. Anyway, to note: The band on the Ivonne runs small. I *can* get it to fit my 29" underbust, but it starts warping at that point and is not comfortable. However, it's very stretchy and I doubt it'll take long to stretch it to a comfortable level. Right now though it's not so tiny that I can easily use an extender because doing ... so means it's far too big. I will probably take apart an old worn bra and use a set of hooks to extend it to a comfy amount. The wings are stretchy and not as tall as I'd like. There's not much support to them either, and I'd definitely like more. Important to note is that even though this color is quite far from my skin tone (I would not actively call it a 'nude' because it's not really a skin color), it actively functions as one underneath a white tank top for me. The only qualm about that is the lace on top does show through on something tighter like my tank top, but whatever. That doesn't usually bother me. Honestly, despite the tiny annoyances with the bra, it actually is very comfy and provides great uplift. I am tempted to narrow the gore because that shape is best on me, but I think it might be too pretty for that. I was really unsure about ordering this bra as there's not much information on it out there, but I'm glad I took the chance.

    70H

    Fits

I am a fairly even and projected breast shape. I have average-to-narrow roots with a slight omega shape. My best fitting bra is a Cleo Lily in 30G.

This bra is great! I really like it. The colour is light purple with some mocha undertones. It works well as a nude shade, as I could see it blending in with many skin tones. I am very fair skinned, and although this is significantly darker than I am, it still works well.

The bra is made of luxurious silky materials. I love the feel of it against my skin. It has a slight metallic sheen to it, almost, that ... looks gorgeous.

The shape is rounded and feels uplifted. It has a nice, even, projected fit. The wires are narrow.

This bra is, unfortunately, about a band size too large - I anticipated this might be the case going in, however, as I normally wear a 65/30 band. I'd been wanting to try Comexim for a while and decided to give it a shot anyway. The band does fit well on the smallest hooks, but it doesn't quite give enough support on any of the looser ones. I'm considering altering it down. Based on the tightest hooks, I would say the band tends to be snug along the lines of Cleo and Ewa.

    60K

This band is tight, and I noticed the wires were pulled really wide. So, I added two full extenders. The immediate projection immediately improved https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> However, the narrow gore I requested arrived as an overlapped gore. This gore, although delightfully narrow, still sits on my right center-full breast. Now, Ivonne is no longer available. Perhaps if I beg, they will have enough scraps to assemble a 65K with a narrowed and overlapping gore. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> Begging commences now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

Like the two other Ivonnes I have ordered, I strongly prefer Comexim unlined bras over all the others. I just need to identify the correct size and alterations.

    75O

    Hasn't set fit

This review is for a Comexim Ivonne 75O custom ordered size without modification. This is my second Comexim bra, and it is a big fail in sizeing choice, much worse fit than my first comexim which was a 75N Snow , which I reviewed here: http://www.bratabase.com/chest/di4vc/review/

I have very soft pendulous boobs with narrow roots. Since my previous review I gained a bit wait and of course all went to my boobs and went up a cupize. My underbust remained the same almost 33", and overbust now is ~47-48" depending of the of the month. Which means I just broke the K ... cup barrier and I am now ~34KK/32L UK size. So the fit will be based on this size.

    1. Ordering
This was quite annoying. I ordered my first Comexim by exchanging emails and got the bra in January , and I was eager to get another one. I emailed them in January 29 in Polish to order an Ivonne 75O with no modification. I got a reply saying no problem in English a few days later, and I was grateful for switching language. I replied and said just send the invoice to my email as they did previously. I know they work on a monthly cycle and only charge when they ready to ship , so I was patiently waiting. After more than 5 weeks, still no shipping notice email ,and no invoice , so I emailed them that what is going on. I got an answer that I should submit an online order on the website and put the requested custom size in the comment. What a wasted 6 weeks! I submit an order online on March 14 and selected the largest cupsize in my bandsize 75K and put a note in the comment that I like a custom size 75O and paid with paypal . After 3.5 weeks I got a shipping notice and it took ~3 weeks to receive it as I live in Canada . So I got the bra 3 months after I first contacted them. Lesson learnt, I need to submit the order online so I can pay it and ensure the order actually happening.

    2. Fit - Band
The band is firm and much tighter than my 75N Snow, which fits me perfectly , but this needs an extender. However, their size chart on the website puts my 82.5 cm underbust at the larger end of 80 or between 80- and 85, so the band is actually true to their size chart.

    3. Fit - Cup/Gore
This bra is waay to small for me, like probably more than 3 cupsizes small and hence gore not tacking and fit is terrible. While my 75N Snow also a bit small in the cup, the plunge design doesn't cut into my boobs on that one and still can wear it. White this is theoretically one cup bigger than my Snow , the balcony design without stretch cuts my boobs into half leading to a terrible quadboob. While my Snow arrived with a handwritten tag, this one arrived with no tag. Since I ordered online selecting 75K in the drop box with a note asking for 75O size, I actually have no way knowing that they honored my size request, or it is terrible small because they ignored my comment, and sent my what I selected online the 75K.

    4. Straps/ Underwire
It has nice wide and comfy cushioned straps , great support, but still won't dig in. the underwire soft and narrow just like my other Comexim.

    5. Material/ fabric/ value
The color is exactly like the website , a light-medium taupe kind of cool light brown, which really disappear under clothes on me. I have cool tone skin with a bit pinkish undertone, and most "nude" color bras super yellow on me, but not this one. As far as the material goes, , it is a strong sturdy bra. It is not a luxurious fabric, but nice and would be a great everyday workhorse if it had fit me. The price is great as it is 100PLZ + 20 plz overseas shipping, so cost ~$30 USD , definetly worth it. I am keeping it for now, because my weight fluctuates and usually lose a 10lb during summer and it may fit me by the fall.

I am sad it didn't fit after 3 months of waiting, but Comexim definitely the type of bra that suitable for my type of breast( soft, very projected, pendulous , narrow root, high set).

However, I am not sure if I want to gamble again with direct order, which is the cheapest , but has the most risk getting the size wrong. I think I will look into ordering the higher end models using one of the US based ordering option. I know the Anna Pardal line is closing down, but the wellfitting seems still working , so I may give it a try.

    Didn't fit

Got this from the wonderful Jaimie at Bra Obsessed from the clearance bin. I wanted to try a Comexim balcony, since their plunges are an utter fail for me (not deep enough at the wire among other issues) and the 3-part HC's are too wide if the cup & band size is big enough. Sadly, because I really, really love Comexim as a company, this is also a fail. The top panel seems to be smaller/shorter than the dimensions of the lower part of the cup would indicate and angles in quite sharply. I'll bet this would be great for someone more FOB! The bottom is made of ... a slightly stretchy glowy knit in a mesmerizing color that defies description (I'm calling it fawny-mauvey-cocoa because it changes from brown to purple and back, depending on what you put it next to; it is a true neutral). The straps are not too wide set, firm, and the band is nice and supportive. It is deep enough for my immediate projection, and provides the natural-moderate lift I expect in a soft bra (its not saggy but not Cleo either). The wires and gore are narrow, and they are somewhat flexible so I could wear this baby all an active day with comfort. All good so far! However the top panel is NOT stretchy at all. It is densely embroidered and the fabric is on the OPPOSITE bias of the bottom panels. It is not lined, so the embroidery (which is beautiful flowers and shooting stars) is scratchy; I can see it bothering someone with more sensitive skin. Plus it seems to be attached almost oddly perpendicular to the bottom panels, and is very tight to the gore. So it cuts in something awful from the top & center, my girls look for some place else to go and get pushed down/sideways/squished and I end up with a bad shape and discomfort. Very sad :/ because I love the color and other than the weirdness of that top piece, it would be perfect!

    • I love the color and support! Ouch. Sigh. I will order another in a larger size with overlapping gore soon; hoping to remedy my fit issues.
