This has been the best fitting bra I've every owned. The cup are a little narrow because I have a super-wide root, but the center gore touches my chest! Quality is pretty solid. It has finally died, but after a year of being basically the only bra I wore. 100% worth it.
I purchased this bra in white from a local bra store.
I really like the soft cup bras, the lace is so pretty! The embroidery and seams might show on a thinner shirt, but it's not terribly noticeable.
Overall I think the shape is good for me- it's nicely rounded and doesn't seem to be trying to change my shape. The mesh on the top is not stretchy, so it looks like slight quadboob when I push my shoulders back, but I feel like that's normal. The straps are a little wider than I'm used to, but I like it. I sometimes have trouble filling in the bottom of the cup of other bras, which seems to push the wires down lower on my chest, but this bra fills the bottom nicely and seems to sit where it's supposed to.
I am in between band sizes, generally measuring ...myself at around 33 or 32.5 inches, so I'm unsure about the 34 band size. The band feels pretty stretchy to me, and I can comfortably wear it on any of the hooks. I suspect the store owner did not have this bra in a 32 band in a cup that would fit me in stock, so she may have fit me into the closest one, rather than recommend something she didn't have. It's also possible she tends to give people a looser fit anyway, as she originally recommended a 36 band last year when I was fitted. I think I'm concerned that this band will become too loose as it breaks in. I'll have to read some other reviews to see how it does over time. Anyway, I wonder if I would prefer a 32 band in this bra, since it feels pretty stretchy. I think I'll probably purchase other colors of this bra in the near future. Read more 170 more words
The black colorline is the best fitting thing I've ever worn. There is a tiny bit of gaping, but it's so small as to be unremarkable. The white colorline, for whatever reason, seems to be a bit open on top for me - there's a bit more gaping.
If you're narrow like me with high roots, this is going to cut into your armpits like mad. The cut didn't work for me on top as I'm FOB and it was a bit floppy. Someone more balanced with a lower, wider root would do well in this cut.
It's very comfortable. Can barely even tell I'm wearing a bra half the time. I like the round shape I get from it. The top fabric cuts into my tissue the SLIGHTEST BIT but I chalk it up to literally only wearing it once so far. I think the cups are a tad narrow for me personally, and the gore feels a bit higher than I would like, but this is just how it sits on me personally. My main gripe is with the fabric, it find it "scratchy" near the bottom of the gore and underwires. Also My rib cage flares out at the bottom, so I will get some minor irritation as the day drags on but again that's but not the bra's fault. All in all a great bra that seems to confirm my suspicions ...of leaning toward fob shape
EDIT: so it turns out this bra is a cup size too small... I tried on a 34GG and all the problems went away, the slight narrowness and bit of quad boob was all solved. It was damn near perfect, as perfect as I'm probably going to get anyway with these balconettes and my super close set pair... Read more 64 more words
