I have this bra in the same size but the yellow color and they are noticeable different in size. This black version is definitely smaller in the cup. I get quadroboob on both boobs which only is a slight problem on my larger boob in the yellow one. Other than this is think it's a beautiful bra and it gives a wonderful shape, great uplift and separates my boobs which I like a lot.
Due to weight loss, I lost a lot of volume in my breasts so it's extremely difficult to find a bra that is flattering. This bra is very pretty and I feel like it makes my breasts look great! Because I'm not so full on top, the tops of the cups wrinkle a bit, tightening the straps and wearing them at their widest point on my shoulders seems to alleviate this but the straps are just too wideset for me. I never considered myself to have narrow shoulders but the outside tops of the cup/bottoms of the straps cut in pretty hard unless I maintain perfect posture.
The fit on this one was much better than for the 32E, but the straps still rub. I tried letting them out pretty far and tightening them up really well, but there was still some rubbing. It's unfortunate because the bra is very cute.
I just got this in the mail and I'm really disappointed. I have slight gapping at the top of my freya bra, and i heard the cleo lucy would be a better fit for me. However, when i tried this on, it's at least 2 cup sizes too small. I got a 32F, the same size as i have in freya, and i can't believe the difference. He's anyone else had this problem? Does freya run large? Iet did i get some weird mis labeled bra?
So, about this bra: I bought it at nordstroms for real low cheap since when i went, i couldn't find anything NEAR fitting, and i figured id rather get it just in case and use it as a diagnostics bra, and i could sell it for near nothing if it didn't work out. It has been sitting in the bag, tags on, because i realized almost immediately when i got home that i am a doof and this isnt even close to my size.
I can technically close the band, which is why i went ahead and bought it, but i realize now that it distorts the wires really severely, so there's no way i could wear it. It stretches to 32 without distorting the wires, so id need a 34 or 36 depending.
The cups are waaay too small! When i put it on, i ...cant even scoop all the way because the cup is so tight that i cant fit my hand in there. The pictures are crap at showing this, but i have a really pointed, pushed down shape in this from the too small cup. The band being too tight probably exacerbates this, so im not sure if i would find the 34F cups too small, but im going to give it a try. If i just lay the cup against myself, it seems like it would be okay, but i know cups with the lace upper seem to either close off too much and cut me, or not lay flat and flutter around.
appearance wise, it s a very pretty navy with ombre pink flowers and dot lace. There is what looks like a very small deodorant mark on the inside near the underarm, probably why they had it so cheap? I haven't washed it yet in case a potential buyer has detergent sensitivities, but im sure it would come right off as it doesn't look like much. The only reason i can even tell is because its white on navy- i don't notice a smell about it.
This bra is super pretty, but nowhere near my size, so im going to see about selling it off and getting myself a proper fitting one! Read more 221 more words
After having worn this bra in a 34DD, going down a bandsize and up a couple cups has been a godsend. (Truth be told, I think I might even be able to go up up more cupsize but it's certainly not dramatic enough to be a dealbreaker. I only get the merest shadow of quad-boob, and only with my larger breast.)
The shape I get with the Lucy is superior to ANY other bra I have EVER worn. It's perky, perfectly rounded, foward-projecting, nicely defined. Basically anything I could ever ask for in a bra. The balconette style makes for perfect coverage - I'm not a big fan of plunges, so I like the height of the center gore but the generally level cut across the top of the cups. My only complaint with this bra is very minor ...- even though the band fits, I find that the lower edge of the center gore curves inward, leaving me a small pink line across my chest. However, this may just be an issue with my bra specifically, and certainly not a problem with the Cleo line as a whole.
This time around, I went with the navy/pink colorway, which is basically adorable. I really enjoy that it has accenting embroidery, unlike other colorways which have just one color and an accenting bow. The embroidery itself is flat enough that I can wear it with all but the thinnest fabrics - it basically begins to show through around the same point that the seams themselves show. Overall, this is probably one of my favourite bras. Read more 128 more words
Unfortunately, I find myself re-adjusting throughout the day with Lucy, but I think that may be due to the wires not being wide enough for my root (especially on my right side). On the bright side, I really like the feminine look of this bra. The navy/pink/purple combination is cute, and it's comfortable to wear though not a perfect fit for me. I find the band very snug even on the loosest hook.
So, far this is the only bra I have found that actually fits me. I measure to a 30FF, but this bra is a perfect fit. The only problem I have is that the straps dig in my armpits. Its just a symptom of my narrow shoulders and big boobs. All UK bras seem to rub there for me. But overall I like this bra a lot. Very pretty and supportive. I love the shape.
