    Didn't fit

Another eBay purchase. Band fit is very tight but still comfortable. The cup and I are almost perfectly suited but...there is a little quad boob and the wire rests on my left (larger) breast. I don't quiiiiite fill the bottom of the cup unless I swoop the fabric up and jiggle the boob into place. So a little extra work and it works.

Although the gore width is basically none, I found if I pinch it a bit the wire comes off my left breast, so I will modify this one to fit. The wires do NOT poke under my arms--but armpit fat comes out. If it's escaped breast tissue it will stay on the run because I can't get it back in.

Wires go too far back. The shape of the wires is like a U with the outside "leg" angling out.

Update: late Dec: Bent the wires slightly to follow my ribs and now I fill the bottom and have no cutting in at the top--plus no sliding down.

Note: Entire cup is lined in this size. The upper panel is not more sheer, although there is some see-through for the cups.
Overall quality of the fabric doesn't seem as nice as most Chantelles, although the wing fabric is very strong. The fit is also not as nice as I'm used to with them.
Great support, but the cups seemed to be straining a little bit, so a cup size up would have been better. The band runs smaller than other Chantelle bras I've tried, and felt right about right for my 28"-ish underbust.
My main objection was to the underwires. The shape was strange and made ... too deep a U, which meant that my breasts couldn't quite sit at the bottom and the wires dug under my arm. The center portions of the wires also ran too high to press into my sternum, and caused too much space between the cups. The area by the arm is also a bit scratchy, but I think that will go away with a bit of use.
Not terrible, but I won't be buying another of these.

The first thing I noticed about this bra is that the underwire pressed uncomfortably into my sternum. After bending it outward a bit, the pressure was relieved enough to be able to wear it. However, the material (particularly the straps) are too itchy for me to wear for more than an hour or so.

I also don't quite fill out the bottom of this bra. The top and sides are fine but the bottom wrinkles, though not noticeable under clothing.

    Fits

The Chantelle seems to fit in the band and cup (40DDD), as it stays in place thanks to the single stays on each side of the cups, and there's no breast tissue coming out the top or sides of the cups (which is not generally a problem for me). However, the underwires creak when I move, and it makes me think that the cups are too small. There's NO extra room in the cups (and the cups even hold me in just a little, I feel hugged) as there's no give in the cups at all and very little in the band, which I consider to ... be a good thing. Despite this, the bra is comfortable. It's most certainly a full coverage, and the straps don't cut into my arms (which is usually a problem for me).

The Chantelle is not as pretty as the pictures make it look, and mine arrived with a flaw with the lace on the edge of the right cup, which is really annoying. I bought this bra from the Nordstom website, which says that 40DDD is equal to a 40F, but the tag on the bra said it was equal to a 40E, and I tend to agree with the tag, as I normally wear a 40F, and this bra feels a little more snug in the cup (not in the band) than I'm used to.

  5. Also love this! Chantelle 4evah! Consistent cup sizes between the two I have (85 G FR). This C-Chic is one of the cheapest Chantelle bras, and I think it's a great place to start if you're looking at the brand. Supportive, and makes my boobs feel like Bs again! The band on this one is like an average to generous 32 I would say (compared to the tight 32s from Elle McPherson, whereas the Chantelle 32 Rive Gauche is inching up into a tight 34).

    Hasn't set fit

This was for my mom's attempts to find a bra that fits and it's very different from my size so I can only comment on the material & construction.

Band: runs TTS & its elastic is firm. Mesh.

Cups: Bottom and side panels are opaque mesh, top is sheer stretch lace. The elastic along the top edge of the cups is also firm enough that it would be IMO best suited for a FOB shape.

Straps: Fully adjustable and slightly thinner than most I've encountered.

Overall: The fabric and seams are nice and smooth, not scratchy. It seems to be a very cool and breathable bra.

    Didn't fit

I used to wear a smaller size of this bra and it was my favorite. But now that I'm a much larger size, it fits all wrong. I was trying to see if I could sister size the bra from 38G/GG UK/US 38I and it did not work at all. I noticed that there is a lot of extra fabric between the wing and side boning on this bra compared to my old 40DDD bra. The old bra was roughly 2 inches long from wing to side boning (at the bottom). Now it is 3 inches. The cups are much higher and the wire is really long (15 ... inches), which means the bra wire cuts into my arm. I do remember having to break in my old bra when I first got sized as 40DDD as it also poked a little until I broke it in, but I really don't like the changes made to the larger size of this bra. I'm considering modifying it rather than throwing it out.

It might not be the bra's fault since this is technically not my true size, but the wire seems extra long even factoring in the size difference, so I'll mention that in case others also have issues with the underwire poking their arm.

This review is for the black colorway.

I wish the plunge style came in my size, because I have had good luck with Chantelle plunges so far. Not so with the full-coverage bras, however. This bra was cute and made me reconsider my negative opinion on stained-glass-window cup styles because it wasn't too obvious. It also gave good support and shape. However, I just could not get around the center underwires. They were too far apart and came up way too high, so they dug in terribly. I was literally bruised after about 3 hours of wear. I returned this bra.

    Fits

As this is the best-fitting bra I've ever owned, I'm a little giddy right now. So far the only problem I've encountered is that the underwire pokes my sternum a bit because the gore is a little high. Also, the bra will undoubtedly fit better at a different point in my menstrual cycle, i.e. when my breasts are a bit smaller.

The bra is very supportive, and quite nice appearance-wise. It doesn't have the granny look that many bras with unmoulded cups seem to have, which is much appreciated. I highly recommend it!

Edit after a month of owning the bra, and wearing it a few times: I'm not totally thrilled with the shape this gives me, though I think that may be because the bra is a little small. It's not quite quad-boob, but it pushes my breasts up in a weird way. Also, the underwires aren't quite the right shape for my ribcage, and I haven't tried bending them.
