    30DD

    Didn't fit

The band runs a full size small on this bra. My usual size is 28DD or 30D, but the 30D's cups were way too small. I ordered the 30DD and it is very tight -- fits like a small 28DD. I should have ordered 32D. Therefore, I'd recommend going up a band size in this bra and keeping the cup size the same. In other words, if you measure 36C, order 38C in this one first.

Other than the fit issue, this bra is nice for a strapless bra. Built-in "customized" padding is thicker or thinner depending on cup size. The cups are smooth and a little on the stiff side when brand new; the lace is soft. There are silicone strips inside the band to reduce slipping. A good value.
Purchased Spring 2010 from Bare Necessities.

    Didn't fit

Full disclosure: this bra does not fit me. This will exacerbate all of my complaints, as even well-fitted strapless bras can be difficult to get along with.

I really avoid wearing this. Even in strapless dresses, I sometimes cheat and use a cardigan or just let my straps show rather than wear this bra underneath. It's not out-and-out painful, but it's sort of scratchy and is not a bra that lets you forget about it. I am very conscious of wearing this bra. And, since the 30 band is too large for me (I wear this on the tightest hook), the bra tends to slip down my torso throughout ... the day, the underwire leaving red marks about half an inch below my boobs. =(

Now, my fit issues aside, I have to imagine this would stay put pretty well on someone who had a 30 back. It has two strips of silicone, along the top and bottom edge of the band, to keep the bra in place. It is notably tighter than the average 30, as you'd expect of a strapless. And of course it's a Calvin Klein bra, meaning it's great quality and made out of lovely materials. One bummer is that the tag is not printed on the band (i.e. tagless), like in the other CKs I own, and I find that the tag is very itchy (and it curls easily!).

However, my biggest complaint about this bra is with the cups. Specifically, the outside of the cups are too smooth. If I'm wearing a strapless dress made out of cotton, spandex, or any other stretchy fabric, the bra causes it to slide down! These elastic dresses meant to stay up due to tension can't achieve the necessary conditions to avoid slipping. So while the bra works fine under fitted, zip-up dresses, it's a total no-go for your average strapless sundress.

Due to it's somewhat itchy qualities and incompatibility with stretchy tops/dresses, I'd only recommend this bra for wear under formal dresses. It's best when you wear it for five hours or less.

It seems to run extra tight in the band. I measure myself at 27 inches in the rib cage and still feel like this is super tight in the 30 band. Because this is more like a 28DD than a 30DD, the cups didn't fit right and I was coming out of them.

    Fits

I have shallow conical breasts that was measured at a 28DD. I usually wear a 30D (which I also ordered), but the cups in this bra fit small because of the push-up padding on the bottom. So, the 30DD fit better although the wires are a tad long for me. I wasn't expecting so much padding since this was described as "lift". I would prefer less padding or no padding, but it can be a little difficult to find in a smaller band size. It takes a little bit of effort to get the underwires to sit in my IMF because of the padding. I basically have to ... hold my breast up as much as possible and place the underwire in the correct place. Then go in and swoop and scoop once again. Once I do this, it doesn't budge because of the snug band. The band runs tight, which is great for me since I have a 27" ribcage, but may feel tight for someone that is a true 30 band. I do not get cleavage in this bra even though it has quite a lot of padding because I have short roots and it is pretty closed on top. The padding just serves to make my breasts look bigger (more volume) under shirts. I don't mind this. I really like the convertible straps, the lace is pretty and unobtrusive, and the nude color matches my skin tone pretty well.

I have shallow conical breasts that was measured at a 28DD. I also ordered this in 30DD and ended up going with that size. The band runs tight in this (as do many strapless bras), which is perfect for me since I have a 27" ribcage. After swooping and scooping, there was definitely some quadding on top (because of the push-up padding on the bottom). I didn't realize this bra would have as much padding since it was just described as a "lift". It is hard to get the underwires to sit in my IMF because of it. I like the convertible straps!

I think it's a little too shallow for me. It's definitely a bit wide. I'm a bit hesitant to wear it as a strapless as it seems like it'd slip too much.

I have this bra in a 30D, but the cups were way too small for me. I tried this one on in the store, and it was an absolute disaster! Never knew I could have quadboob like that even though the bra looks large when its just hanging there.

I think it would suit someone who is full on bottom very well because of the push up pad and top of the cups are somewhat closed.

This was my wedding bra and it worked well with the dress.I have not worn it since as the cups seem to jut out and look a bit bullet-like.

Feels too tight; the bottom curves of the underwires dig into my chest uncomfortably. Fit me when I got married almost 2 years ago, but now the cups are way too small––major overspill.

    • Hi! :) I don't want to sound creepy haha, but I recognized your boobs from your bra adventure (you have a birth mark in the middle of your chest) and I just want to remind you of the importance of adding pictures of yourself showing the back of the bra as well! :) When you're wearing it, that is. I remember when I was a new member here, I didn't add pictures of the back and I regret it now! When you're more of an experienced Bratabaser, seeing those old photos of how your previous bras fit you can be extremely helpful in terms of seeing the transition! :) I can tell from the pictures that the cups are too small for you in this bra, but I guess you already know :)

The bra fit me well as long as I was a 30C, and it seemed to work very well as a strapless. I say seemed, because I've never worn it (no occasions that called for a strapless bra). This is a push-up bra with non-removable cushions.
The band is very tight and gives really good support, and the bra gave my boobs a good shape.
