Wow! Just when I've convinced myself that I should never buy a 32 bra again, that 30's are the way to go, and that my size is absolutely a 30DDD, I get an almost-perfect bra with, you guessed it: a 32 band. Go figure!

I ordered this from Amazon because it was on a super sale (seriously, I think I got this new bra for $13 +shipping!) and because I tend to be a big B.tempt'd By Wacoal fan. This reminded me of my very favorite bra by them, the Sheer Delight t-shirt bra, because of the soft, minimally padded cups and the mesh overlay on top ... of them. So I jumped, and I'm so glad I did!

The bra itself is beautiful, with a black lace/mesh overlay in a floral pattern covering tan cups. The band is also lace/mesh. The straps, which appear initially to be plain black, are actually covered with a pretty, overlapping sort of ruched material. I think this bra looks lovely on, and it is well-camouflaged under shirts.

Fit-wise, the band is not super-tight, but it still feels firm enough. It's possible that a 30DDD might be a better fit, but I wonder if the cup might be a little small in that size. To me, it doesn't seem worth the trouble of trying to exchange it. (Also, the special sale price does not seem to apply for that size!) The band feels snug enough on the loosest hook, but I can fasten it on the tighter hooks if I want to. I may opt to do that in time.

Black floral mesh over tan cups colorway

I love the way this bra looks, unfortunately I had cup fit issues on the sides. It's fine if I stand up straight, but if I go to reach forward, the armpit side of the cup goes empty at the top. And although the lace overlay looks pretty, it's a bit tighter than the cup, so it cuts in some, whereas if it wasn't there, the cup would probably fit fine on the inner edges. The lace band is very stretchy, which makes for a comfy fit, while still not budging when I lift my arms and whatnot. I think the cup might just be a hair too narrow for me. And the lace overlay pushing/pulling the cup into certain shapes isn't helping (because it's not attached except at the underwire seam, and is a bit tighter than the cup).

I bought it because in the store because it was the best fit that I could find that day. The underwire actually encompasses my breasts and I like that it makes my boobs look bigger under a shirt. However, it feels tight and the cups are too big. I couldn't tell at first because of the mesh smoothing things over. But when I sit down and hunch over a little I can see that the tops of the cups are too big. I really like the way it looks and am totally bummed it didn't work out.

Molded cups follow my shape closely as long as I stand or sit up straight, but lacks elasticity and will gap as I move around doing normal human things. I think the lace overlay was intended to offset that shortcoming of foam but can't apply sufficient counterweight.

While this bra fits acceptably now on the middle hook, the band is very stretchy and I have concerns about the longevity of fit as the elastic wears.

All other photos I can find of this bra show it to be more demi on other people while it looks nearly full coverage on me.
