Wow. This is the most awkward bra I have ever come across. I clearly couldn't wear any where to complete a very thorough review, but I did wear it around the house twice. I have NO IDEA what they were thinking with this bra design.
This bra reminds me of those coconut bras except it is made of foam and microfiber.
The padding starts about two inches down from the top of the cup in the center of the cup. The padding starts at the top of the wire casing on both sides of the cup. So, there's a very wide 'U' shape at the top of the ... cup that has no padding. The padding is barely graded at all, it's just about the same thickness all over. I think this was supposed to some how boost the breast and make cleavage....but the top closes in so much that you would have to have extremely short roots for this bra not to dig into you. I do not believe that this bra could sit in ANYONE'S IMF. The padding takes up 3.5" of space starting at the under wire.
The cups are massively wide, at least for me. The cup separation starts at 1.3" wide, measured at top of the gore, and becomes 2", wide measured at the bottom of the gore. Definitely a very wide set bra. Digs into my tissue on all parts of my breast besides the outside. The cups have about three quarters of an inch worth of space between my breast root and the outside of the cup.
The wires are fairly firm with very little flex to them. The under wire channels are padded though. Which is always a nice feature.
The straps are your typical bra straps that come with all strapless bras. They're a very thin, fully adjustable, stretch satiny fabric. When attached they are set fairly wide. When I have the straps attached, it looks like they're growing out of my chest!!! There's seven different spots to connect the straps to, one on the gore, one on each cup, and two on each side of the band.
The top of the band is lined with a silicone strip, which is typically used on strapless bras. The elastic on the band is pretty plush and comfortable. The band is also acceptably stretchy. I like it. It's not too stretchy or too firm.
Overall, the bra is badly designed. Definitely not designed with a real breast in mind. The quality of the fabric is nice, who doesn't like microfiber? I only see one loose thread. I like how the bra has different spots on the bra to connect the straps. With all it's horrible design, it is a comfortable bra. I'm not quite sure whom it would fit though. A women with wide, short roots, and centre full with a very slight slope from apex to IMF to allow the under wire to sit at IMF. Perhaps some one quite shallow would fit/like it.
I had to put the appearance as "Meh" because it looks atrocious by itself, but it still gives a nice rounded shape under clothes and are very fitted. Quality is "Okay" because while it is technically sewn together well and the fabrics are decent, the design is THE WORST! Comfort is "Good," you know, except for the fact that it's digging in everywhere and I could see the wires becoming uncomfortable with longer term wear.

      That just looks so uncomfortable.

      Lol @ coconut bra!

    • eeek! that design does look kinda terrible. haha, to the coconut bra as well! ;) ...and yeah, cus ppl want their shoulder straps halfway under their arm an all. so weird in deed.

    • Thanks ladies, lol. I'm still trying to figure out a good way too take pictures of the inside of the bra instead of just describing it.

I bought this guy at Nordstrom Rack for $9 to wear until I found something better in a 28 band, but I've ended up wearing it quite a bit! The band (now slightly stretched, so I won't measure it) is snug for a 30, the quality is very good for a $9 bra, it fits really well and gives me great cleavage. I'd gladly buy several more, preferably in a 30D.

The wires are very short and slightly curved on this bra, so if you have widely dispersed and/or soft breast tissue, this one won't be a good fit for you. The short and low wires gives it a ... deceptively low cup depth measurement, but I've had no trouble with losing my swoop and scoop or tissue escaping out the side. For a plunge style, I don't find that it cuts into my roots too much and I think my slight quadboob issues are resulting from the fact that I ought to be in a 30D and not from the bra design. The padding is not excessive at all, the lift and shape comes from the construction and shape of the foam, not the amount of padding.

All in all, an excellent find!

I really wanted to like this bra, it's comfortable and seems well made, the color is a nice deep purple with lace trim. Unfortunately the cups run narrow and I escape out the sides while at the same time the top of the cup gapes a bit. If I'm fully swooped and scooped and I fill the entire cup but the cups cant keep me contained.

  4. Jayme Underwire T-shirt Bra (687187)

This is a cute, young bra. It would work wonderfully under tees and tanks, especially with its thin straps. I am however concerned about its quality and longevity. The band is very stretchy, as I'm immediately able to fasten it on the third set of hooks, and the fabric seems quite thin. Not something that will hold up well over time. But I suppose you get what you pay for as this bra was only $20.

This bra is too small in the cup, too wide, and the band is too big.

Very plain bra, but smooth under shirts. The lip at the edge of the cup flips out ever so slightly, so sometimes an edge is visible if my boobs are smaller than average due to fluctuations. The adjustable back to racerback is a bit fiddly to do and undo, but it's very secure when it's clasped properly. Thought for a long time this was too big, turns out I wasn't wearing it tight enough and wasn't scooping. Fits comfortably even though the wire is too wide.

    30DD

    Fits

I tried this bra on in person at Nordstrom and tried both 30D and 30DD. Right now I am looking for basic t-shirt bras for colder weather and these seemed to fit the bill. However, in the end they weren't perfect and I decided not to keep them. I do think they are great solid everyday options though and would recommend them!

I started off grabbing my default size of 30D, since I am still not used to my new size of 30DD since my recent cup size increase. The 30D felt true to size in the band, but I felt that the cups made ... me look a little flattened out. I decided to grab the next size up, and found that the 30DD fit much better in the cups while maintaining the same snug band. There's not too much to say about this style, since this is a standard t-shirt bra and gives that rounded molded cup shape as expected. Thankfully, the 30DD was just more projected than the 30D, and it didn't go up significantly higher under the arms or have a crazy long underwire. I thought this was a perfect size for me and was happy with the fit.

However, there were two issues that made me not love the bra enough to keep it. First, this comes with a convertible J hook option, but since I am very petite, the J hook ends up all the way at the very top of the shoulder straps once I have them fully adjusted. I haven't had this issue with my previous bras in smaller sizes (Xhilaration T-Shirt Bra in 32B, Betsey Johnson Forever Perfect Demi in 30C), but I also happened with my Cleo Koko Plunge in 30D, so I am unsure if this is due to the proportions in my correct size, or if it's just a fluke. The J hook and hardware in this case is a gunmetal material and thus I felt it stuck out a lot, and I also worried about it snagging on clothing.

The other issue is that the underwires of the 30DD were probably a touch too big for me, and they seemed to sit on my ribcage in an uncomfortable spot. Either that, or the band is just a bit too tight. Out of the two bras I purchased, one felt better than the other, but I noticed this issue on both bras. Since I couldn't tell if it would get better with wear or not, I decided not to take a chance since I found another t-shirt bra style I liked better, the Le Mystere Tisha Evolution. Still, I'd say this is a nice bra for taller torsos looking for a basic and affordable bra. The only issue I noticed in terms of materials and quality is that the fabric is quite fuzzy and it tended to attract flakes of dry skin, so it may also attract loose fibers from clothing.

This bra fits me almost perfectly! The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is all the padding, and that it's a multiway. Occasionally the straps pop out in the front.

Found this at a really cheap price, so I had to take it home and try to make it work for me! The band is tighter than I expected BP's 30s to be and the fabric feels pretty high quality!
The shape is somewhat closed on top and I would guess best for someone with shallow even shapes, probably suiting a 1/4 shape best. In this size I think the wires are wide, but they fit me nicely, the cup shape and depth do not however... I hope I can find someone who needs an inexpensive strapless bra to take it off my hands!

The first bra I got after measuring the first time. I don't think I measured correctly and this was a sister size down, so the cups were too small. It's a cute t-shirt bra though.

This is a molded, lightly lined, plunge bra. The cups are actually fairly thin, for being a molded cup, but certainly do the job. The fabric used is VERY nicely slinky silky, and the straps are very thin (as opposed to just narrow, which they also are). The band seems pretty stretchy to me, but I also tend to need very firm 30 bands as I measure 27" snug.

I know plunge bras supposedly don't work on a lot of shallow ladies, but this seemed to work just fine for me; the only problem I had with it was that the gore wants to lay a bit crookedly on me, with one side higher than the other, likely due to my scoliosis. This might be correctable by narrowing the gore to bring the ends of the wires closer together.
