Didn't fit

Freya has turned out to be one of my favorite brands because of the availability of 28DD across so many styles, and thus I decided to give the Deco Plunge a try when looking for a new seamless lightly lined t-shirt bra.

However, I was surprised to find that this style fits nothing like the unlined Freyas I've tried. Though I was warned in advance through reviews that the cups run narrow and tall, I really had no idea what this meant until I tried the bra on for myself.

But getting the bra on was a challenge. Since I wear such a small band size, there's been less than a handful of bras where I felt the band was too small. This is the absolute smallest of the bunch, and I could barely get the band fastened. On the plus side, this means that the band is very powerful and firm. I would definitely need to size up to a 30 in order to fit this band.

The cups, however, are indeed just as narrow and tall as they were reputed to be. They pushed me to the center and gave me great cleavage, but I really couldn't do much to improve their fit since the band was squeezing me like an anaconda. Unlike Cleo Maddie and Lexi's abnormally short cups, which visually look too small on me despite fitting well, Deco's cups looked disproportionately tall and huge on my frame. Because of this cup shape mismatch, I don't plan to try this in a 30D.

I would suggest sizing up in the band in this style, and avoiding it entirely if you are petite as the proportions may look very strange on you. However, this is the most powerful and supportive bra I've ever encountered, and might be a good choice for those who need a 26 band and can't find anything small enough.

Fit information

Band is extremely firm and can barely fasten. Cups are too narrow and close set, gore digs in to sternum. Because of ill positioning, top of cup shows gaps not due to volume.

Center gore comfort:
Underwires dig into sternum, because they are too high
Cups separation:
Too close together for my boobs
Band fit:
I can fasten it, but it feels too tight
