I must say I'm a sucker for nautical patterns. Ordered this set online and kept it when I should have returned it, really. I kept saying to myself that with alteration the top would be wearable. Since then it's become clear that the cups are on the small side and the needle and thread thing isn't meant for me...
Absolutely amazing pattern and colours, material soft to touch with firm elastic in the band. Band is true to size, maybe on the comfy side - not too tight. Cups turned out to be too shallow and wide apart for me. Maybe sizing up and sewing in the bottom of the centre gore would do the trick. Straps are fully adjustable and not very elastic. The top is completely mesh lined - airy thin lining. I got the bikini shorts in size XS - front lined and offer ample coverage, I'd say it is more of a size S. All in all the set is comfortable enough, no scratching, squeezing, poking or anything like that.
I am really in love with this pattern...
