I have always liked the Elomi Betty plunge bras but have always had to sister size to a 38HH as there weren't any Elomi plunges in a 36J. This has meant I have had to do them up on the tightest hook from the start.
When Elomi brought out the Kenza that did go to 36 J and above I was tempted to try it but as I was not keen on the colour I didn't buy one.
When I spotted the Orla the other night on ASOS I decided to order it there and then. It arrived today and I am happy to say that it fits nicely and feels comfortable.
The band is snug but comfortable and while the cups are actually a bit wide on me the wires do not poke or jab at all. I did use to think that I had wide roots, but now I am sure they are average to narrow. The only bra I have where the wires are not wider than my roots is a Kris Line 80KK.
There is no stretch in the cups at all but this has not caused me any issues as the cups fit well with no quadding or gaping. This could be a problem for anyone who is very full on top. I am fairly even with short roots.

  • If your Elomi Betties have bands that are loose now, you might be able to use this:

  • Hi Wanabee thanks for the suggestion I have looked at the Rixie Clip before and will keep it in mind but probably so far the bands have not loosened very much at all.

This is probably due to a couple of things, the first I have bought quite a number of bras that fit me in the past 12 months, meaning that some bras only get worn once every couple of weeks and secondly due to some health issues I lead a fairly sedentary life at the moment.
